Description

This invention relates to a smoking mouthpiece and a smoking device containing said smoking mouthpiece. The specified smoking mouthpiece allows you to adjust the preferred position of the mouthpiece when using devices for smoking, such as a water pipe, electric or electronic cigarettes, electronic hookahs or other devices that produce smoke.

Smoking water pipes, so-called hookahs, is very popular. At the same time, the smoke generated in the burner is inhaled by the smoker through a vessel filled with water, through a hose, at the end of which a mouthpiece is fixed. Ordinary hookahs usually contain a rigid, straight mouthpiece with a central hole through which the smoke can be inhaled. Since hookahs are often consumed together, it is known that disposable smoking mouthpieces are inserted into the straight mouthpieces of hookahs, providing a hygienic smoking experience. These smoking mouthpieces are straight pipes whose outer diameter matches the inner diameter of the orifice of the actual hookah mouthpiece or smoke hose. At times, these disposable mouthpieces may also include a conical portion that facilitates insertion into the mouthpiece opening. After the smoking process is completed, these disposable smoking mouthpieces can be removed from the hookah mouthpiece. The next hookah user inserts their own disposable smoking mouthpiece.

A disadvantage of known smoking mouthpieces is that they lengthen the actual hookah mouthpiece in a linear direction. This may cause the smoker to assume an uncomfortable head position while using the smoking device. It is also necessary to have sufficient space to hold the mouthpiece below the mouth. Especially during the use of hookah, for example, in the supine position, it turns out to be uncomfortable.

Thus, the object of the present invention is to enable the mouthpiece of the water tube to be individually adjusted.

This problem is solved by a smoking mouthpiece according to paragraph 1 of the claims, as well as a device for smoking according to paragraph 18 of the claims. Favorable additional embodiments of the present invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

In connection with the present invention, the smoking mouthpiece of the present invention has been described mainly in connection with water pipes. However, the present invention is not limited to this in any way. Similarly, the smoking mouthpiece can be used with so-called electric or electronic cigarettes, electronic hookahs or other also conventional smoking devices such as pipes or the like. An electric cigarette, also an electronic cigarette or an electronic hookah, are devices that vaporize a liquid (so-called liquid) through an electrically heated coil. The consumer inhales or smokes the resulting wet vapor. Unlike a cigarette, the combustion process does not occur. The present invention is not limited to this type of smoking device.

The smoking mouthpiece according to the present invention is made in the form of a section of a tube containing a first and a second free end. In this case, the first section of the tube is directly or indirectly connected to the smoking device by means of a smoke hose and/or a smoke tube, and the second section of the tube is made with the possibility of being inserted into the smoker's mouth. The first and second sections of the tube are made essentially straight and preferably hard to bend or essentially hard to bend. The present invention is characterized in that a third tube section is provided between the first and second tube sections, which is flexible in bending or resilient in bending. The flexural flexibility or flexural resilience is realized by appropriate deformation of the material, for example in the form of a corrugated tube and/or by adjusting the material parameters of a preferably one-piece smoking mouthpiece in the region of the third tube section. The third section of the tube is preferably made with the possibility of elastic deformation and individual control in shape and bending radius. The tube section retains the deformation after it is installed, although it can be changed. Thus, the present invention allows the position of the second end of the tube to be adjusted according to the individual needs of the smoker. This can be done before or after insertion of the first section of the tube directly into the smoking device, smoking hose or conventionally existing straight mouthpiece or waterpipe smoking pipe or smoke outlet provided therein. In this case, the second section of the tube is bent towards the smoker's mouth. Thus, the present invention has the advantage of being able to individually adjust the position of the mouthpiece in a simple manner.

In an additional embodiment of the present invention, which is considered advantageous, it is provided that the first section of the tube is made longer than the second section of the tube. This configuration allows the length of the projection of the smoking mouthpiece to be adjusted relative to the mouthpiece or smoke hose of the smoking device. This allows you to further adjust the position of the mouthpiece. In addition, the elongated section of the tube can serve as a handle. Of course, the opposite case is also possible. Then the smoking mouthpiece contains an elongated second section of the tube.

It is considered advantageous if the flexible section of the tube is in the form of a corrugated tube or substantially similar to a corrugated tube. In this case, all configurations of the corrugated tube are possible, for example, in the form of a corrugated corrugated tube or harmonica. A corrugated pipe-like configuration is formed during the manufacture of the flexible section of the pipe or the smoking mouthpiece as a whole. Depending on the type of corrugated tube and the materials used, the flexible section can be placed in a specific position and left there. Alternatively, of course, it is also possible to leave the bending-flexible part flexible throughout the entire use of the smoking mouthpiece, thereby allowing constant, continuous adjustment. The bending of the smoking mouthpiece also improves the draft of the smoking device due to the turbulence in the smoking mouthpiece or can be influenced and improve the smoking experience.

The insertion of the smoking mouthpiece into the smoke hose of the smoking device is simplified in that the first section of the tube is tapered towards its free end. In contrast, the second section of the tube, which serves as a smoke outlet and is inserted into the smoker's mouth, can alternatively also be made tapered. This gives a different direction of smoke exit, and thus the smoking experience can be improved.

The smoking mouthpiece according to the invention is intended to be inserted into the first section of the pipe into the end of a smoke conduit, in particular a smoke pipe or smoke hose, or into an existing mouthpiece or handle of a smoking device, preferably a water pipe. Of course, in a further embodiment of the invention, it is possible for the first and second sections of the tube to have the same design, and therefore no indication is given as to the part of the smoking mouthpiece that is connected to the end of the flue pipe.

The connection of the smoking mouthpiece and the smoking device or the end of the smoke hose is improved by the fact that, as provided in a preferred embodiment of the invention, rings or protrusions are applied to the outer surface, in the first and/or second section of the tube, preferably in the area of the first and/or second free the end is made, for example, as a whole lamellar structure or thread. These structures in the first section of the tube provide a tight connection, in particular the insertion or screwing of the smoking mouthpiece into the smoking device or the end of the flue pipe. This improves the connection between the smoking mouthpiece and the smoking device or smoke conduit. In the second portion of the tube which is inserted into the smoker's mouth, better retention of the mouthpiece, for example between the smoker's teeth or lips, can also be achieved by rings, protrusions or plate structures. Mouthpieces can also be marked by surface structure.

It is considered favorable if the sections of the tubes have the same or variable wall thickness. This increases the stability of the smoking mouthpiece. At the same time, different wall thicknesses also allow the flexible portion to be formed during the manufacture of the smoking mouthpiece. Preferably, the tube section to be bent has the smallest wall thickness, which facilitates repositioning, i.e., bending, of the third tube section. By choosing a wall thickness that varies along the length of the smoking mouthpiece, the draw behavior of the smoking device can be influenced and improved. In this way, the inhaled smoke is concentrated and the smoke flow becomes more uniform.

In a smoking mouthpiece according to the present invention, in one embodiment of the invention, the tube sections have the same or different diameters in addition or alternative to different wall thicknesses. In addition to being able to adapt to the diameter of the smoke hose, smoke pipe or smoke outlet, it is thus possible to respond to different requirements from the smoker. The draw behavior of the smoking device can also be modified and improved by selecting diameters that vary along the length of the smoking mouthpiece. In this way, the inhaled smoke binds and the smoke flow becomes more uniform.

It is considered advantageous if the smoking mouthpiece is made in one piece and thus can be produced in a standardized manufacturing process, such as an injection molding process. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the smoking mouthpiece is preferably made in the form of an injection molded part. This makes it possible to easily and inexpensively manufacture smoking mouthpieces in large quantities.

The smoking mouthpiece is preferably in the form of a disposable or reusable article. If reusable, the smoke mouthpiece may be made of a material that is resistant to temperature and dishwashing detergents or is dishwasher safe. It is considered favorable if the smoking mouthpiece is made of food-grade plastic, metal, glass, or combinations thereof. For example, the first and second sections of the tube may be made of metal, and the connecting flexible section of the tube may be made of plastic. Of course, all other flexible or flexurally resilient materials are possible, such as textile materials, leather, plastics, metal tubes and the like. In an advantageous further embodiment of the present invention, both the first and second tube sections are made of metal, glass or plastic and are connected by a flexural tube section made of plastic or metal.

Preferably, said flexible tube section is in the form of a molded tube section, a harmonic or corrugated tube section, or a curved tube section. In the design of the tube section, the flexible tube section can also be made of a metal tube or a mesh metal tube. This is especially advantageous for smoking mouthpieces intended for reusable use.

It is considered advantageous if the bending radius of the flexible section of the tube can be freely adjusted. This enables a particularly simple and individual adjustment of the smoking mouthpiece according to the preferences of the smoker.

In an additional embodiment of the invention, which is considered favorable, the smoking mouthpiece is characterized in that an additional removable section of the tube is provided. This additional tube section preferably comprises a chamber through which smoke flows, in particular a chamber which can be cooled. Said additional fourth tube section is intended in particular for the first or second tube section and is preferably designed as a chamber. The fourth tube section is located, for example, between the first or second tube section and the third, flexible tube section. The fourth section of the tube can also be made with the possibility of removal in such a way that, for example, cooling of the chamber can take place after removal. Then, before actually using the hookah, the cooled section with the chamber is inserted into the mouthpiece, and it cools the inhaled smoke. This further enhances the smoking experience. Of course, it is also possible to cool the entire smoking mouthpiece containing the chamber. In a further embodiment of the present invention, the chamber may also be in the form of a ring, which may be located on the smoking mouthpiece, or in the form of a chamber that surrounds the smoking mouthpiece in sections. In this case, the ring or chamber contains a cooling agent. Said chamber or ring is cooled prior to use and is not applied to the smoking mouthpiece until the smoking device is activated. Cooling improves the smoking experience as the flavors in the smoke are better emphasized. The chamber or ring may have a wide variety of geometries, such as a rectangular cuboid or oblong sleeve with a round or square outer geometry. The chamber may completely or partially enclose the smoking mouthpiece. In addition to being inserted into the mouthpiece, the ring or chamber may also be slipped on or clipped on.

The smoking mouthpiece according to the invention can be connected directly or indirectly to a smoking device. This is, in particular, a water pipe or the so-called electronic cigarette or electronic hookah. Thus, a smoking mouthpiece made as a disposable or reusable article allows multiple smokers to use the smoking device at the same time by changing the smoking mouthpiece.

The smoking device according to the invention preferably comprises a smoke conduit such as a smoke pipe or a smoke hose. The smoking mouthpiece according to the invention is conveniently inserted into the end of a flue pipe or smoke tube, in particular inserted or screwed. Preferably, the smoking mouthpiece is designed as a disposable or reusable product and allows simultaneous use of the smoking device, smoke hoses or smoke pipes by different persons.

Fig. 1a shows a side view of a smoking mouthpiece 1 according to the present invention. The smoking mouthpiece 1 includes a first and a second pipe section 3a, 3b. A third flexible or resilient tube section 3c is provided between the tube sections 3a, 3b. By means of the bending-flexible tube section 3c, the second tube section 3b can be bent relative to the first tube section 3a. This allows the individual position of the second tube section 3b to be set. In an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the third tube portion 3c is formed as a corrugated tube 5. The entire smoking mouthpiece 1 shown here is made in the form of a one-piece injection molded part. Of course, it is also possible to provide the three pipe sections 3a, 3b, 3c as separate parts and connect them to each other, for example by insertion or gluing, to obtain a smoking mouthpiece 1. It is also possible that in a single-component smoking mouthpiece 1 the material properties in the areas of the third tube section 3c have been set such that it remains flexible or resilient in bending, while the other two tube sections 3a, 3b are rigid in bending. This configuration can, of course, also be achieved by varying the wall thickness w. Fig. 1a shows that the tube sections 3a, 3b can have different wall thicknesses w. Due to this, it is possible to influence the flow rate and the speed of the smoke flow through the smoking mouthpiece 1. In addition, an increase in the wall thickness w affects the stability of the smoking mouthpiece 1.

Each of the first and second tube sections 3a, 3b has a free end 2a, 2b. The free end 2a of the first tube section 3a is inserted into the end 11 of the smoke conduit 10 of the smoking device 4, for example the end of the smoke pipe 6 or the smoke hose 7, and is retained there by positive locking. In order to further improve the connection between the smoke conduit 10 and the smoking mouthpiece 1, the smoking mouthpiece 1 may comprise additional structures in the region of the free end 2a of the first pipe section 3a, for example protrusions 9 or longitudinal strips 13 (cf. Fig. 5), which protrude with respect to the outer surface 8 of the smoking mouthpiece 1. This improves the positive fit between the smoking mouthpiece 1 and the smoke conduit 10 and prevents smoke from escaping at this point.

The diameter d is also variable when viewed along the length of the smoking mouthpiece 1. By skillfully combining the wall thickness w and the diameter d, the smoking mouthpiece 1 can influence and improve the properties of the smoke flow. For example, in this case, the smoke can be concentrated before inhalation, which significantly improves the smoking experience.

Fig. 1b shows the smoking mouthpiece 1 of FIG. 1a in additional illustration. It can be seen that the free end 2b of the second section 3b is designed in such a way that it essentially corresponds to the opening of the smoke channel of the smoke pipe 10. Thus, the user of the smoking device 4 does not experience a difference between inhaling directly from the smoke pipe 10 and inhaling from the inserted of the smoking mouthpiece 1. However, the position of the free end 2b of the second tube section 3b can be adapted to the needs of the smoker by using the third tube section 3c in the form of a corrugated tube 5 in the exemplary embodiment of FIG. 1.

Fig. 2a shows a preferred embodiment of the smoking device 4 in an exemplary waterpipe embodiment. Description of the individual components of the water tube will be omitted from this document as they are commonly known. An exemplary embodiment of the invention shows a smoke conduit 10 in the form of a smoke hose 7. At the end 11 of the smoke hose 7 in the exemplary embodiment of the invention, a rigid straight smoke pipe is fixed, which extends the smoke hose. This smoke tube 6 serves as a handle and, as a rule, also as a mouthpiece. An exemplary embodiment of the invention shows a smoking mouthpiece 1 according to the invention inserted into a smoke pipe 6. The first pipe section 3a is inserted into the end 11 of the smoke hose 7 and the second pipe section 3b is bent relative to the first. This allows the smoker to adjust the position of the smoke outlet from the chimney 6.

Fig. 2b shows a section of a smoke pipe 6 with an inserted smoking mouthpiece 1. The smoking mouthpiece 1 may be designed as a reusable or disposable part. The connection between the smoking mouthpiece 1 and the smoke pipe 6 is made with a lock with a latch. The free end of the first section of the pipe has a conical zone, which simplifies and improves the insertion and fixation of the smoking mouthpiece 1 into the smoke pipe 6. Of course, in all smoking devices it is also possible to permanently fix the smoking mouthpiece 1, that is, the end of the smoke pipe 10 is designed according to the smoking mouthpiece 1 according to the present invention and can be adjusted accordingly.

Fig. 3 shows the components of the flue pipe 10 in a separated state. The smoke hose 7 is clearly visible, at the end 11 of which a smoke pipe 6, a rigid section of the pipe, can be inserted, put on or molded. Then, the smoking mouthpiece 1 according to the present invention can be inserted into the front end of the smoke pipe 6 when the smoking device 4 is used, and the position of the smoke outlet can be adjusted by the bending-flexible portion. In general, the smoke tube and the smoke hose are connected to each other with or without the possibility of detachment.

Fig. 4 shows an additional embodiment of the smoking device 4. It also comprises a smoke conduit 10 which is in the form of a smoke hose 7. However, in contrast to the embodiment of the invention according to FIG. 3, the chimney 6 is missing in this case. Thus, the smoking mouthpiece 1 according to the present invention is inserted directly into the end 11 of the smoke hose 7. Thus, the smoking mouthpiece 1 not only has the function of extending the conduit, but at the same time also serves as a handle. However, the position of the smoke outlet is adjusted by the flexible flexible tube portion 3c and adapted to the smoker. Provided that the smoking mouthpiece 1 is suitably designed, it can additionally serve as a smoke cooling site. For this purpose, the smoking mouthpiece 1, which has a double-walled structure, for example, can be filled with a coolant that further extracts heat from the smoke supplied through the smoke conduit 10.

Fig. 5a shows a further embodiment of a smoking mouthpiece 1 which includes a fourth pipe section 3d which, in an exemplary embodiment of the invention, is provided as a removable chamber 12. This chamber 12 contains a cooling agent and can be cooled after being removed from the smoking mouthpiece 1. Before actual use, for example , the water tube cooled chamber 12 is inserted into the smoke mouthpiece 1 or put on it or fixed on it, and it cools the inhaled smoke passing through it. This further enhances the smoking experience. Of course, the chamber 12 can also be built into the smoking mouthpiece 1, for example molded or inserted between the pipe sections 3a, 3b, 3c, or the entire smoking mouthpiece 1 containing the chamber 12 can also be cooled. In a further embodiment of the present invention, the chamber 12 may also be in the form of a ring or sleeve that can be put on the smoking mouthpiece 1, or in the form of a chamber 12 that completely or partially encloses the first and/or second sections 3a, 3b of the tube in the longitudinal direction. . In this case, the ring or chamber 12 contains a cooling agent. The chamber 12 or the ring or the whole smoking mouthpiece 1 is cooled before use and is not attached to the smoking device 4 until the smoking device 4 is activated. Cooling improves the smoking experience by allowing the flavors in the smoke to be more noticeable. In addition to the more or less circular design shown here, of course, cubic or cuboid as well as custom shapes can also be realized.

In the exemplary embodiment of the invention of FIG. 5, the connection between the smoking mouthpiece 1 and the smoking device 4 or the end of the smoke hose 7 is improved in that raised longitudinal strips 13 are provided in the first tube section 3a, preferably in the region of the first free end 2a on the outer surface. These structures in the first tube section 3a ensure a tight connection, in particular the insertion of the smoking mouthpiece 1 into the smoking device 4 or the end of the flue pipe 10.
