The scratching post bed is made in form of an integral cylinder and at least one side surface of the cylinder is made with chamfers and/or with rounded surfaces. In addition, the scratching post bed is equipped with a latch that prevents the possibility of disbalancing the scratching post bed from the equilibrium position corresponding to the flat shape.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to products for animal care, mainly for cats, and is intended for use in sharpening claws, like a cat bed.

Known claw point for cats, containing a block for sharpening claws, made in the form of a honeycomb paper filler, having a compressed form of a rectangular parallelepiped, fastened on opposite sides with plates and made with the possibility, after stretching the honeycomb paper filler in its plane along one of the other sides up to the connection of the plates, take the form of a round cylinder with the possibility of fastening the plates to each other (utility model patent of the Russian Federation No. 195993, published on February 12, 2020). In this case, as follows from the figures, the round bases of the cylinder form the side surfaces of a rectangular parallelepiped of honeycomb paper filler in a compressed state, and the inner and outer side surfaces of the cylinder form its end surfaces.

A disadvantage of the known scratching post is that during use, if an asymmetric load occurs on the peripheral or central part of the cylinder, the scratching post can spontaneously fold and cause damage and/or fright to the pet and/or its owner.

Indeed, the design described in the patent is characterized by the fact that after stretching, the cells of the honeycomb paper core, which have elastic properties, tend to return to their original compressed state. When moving away from the center, prepared for use of the device, the cells are stretched to an increasing extent, and in the plane of the couch, elastic forces act in the tangential direction, the magnitude of which also increases with distance from the center. If the edge or the central part of the bed rises due to the fall of any object under it, and / or due to the actions of the pet and / or its owner, the indicated force leaves the bed plane and the normal component of the force appears, which can lead to the device coming out of state of equilibrium corresponding to a flat shape (described in the patent), to another stable state of an elongated shape, in the form of a cylinder or a truncated cone (due to the presence of permanent deformation of the cells), in which the cells are in a compressed state, while the round bases of the cylinder or truncated the cones are formed by the end surfaces of the rectangular parallelepiped of the honeycomb paper filler in the compressed state, and the inner and outer side surfaces of the cylinder or the truncated cone are formed by the side surfaces of the rectangular parallelepiped of the honeycomb paper filler in the compressed state. The transition from one state of balance to another occurs abruptly, which can lead to fright and / or damage to the pet and / or its owner.

The technical result, to which the invention is directed, is to limit the possibility of withdrawing the claw-bed during use from the equilibrium position corresponding to a flat shape.

The technical result is achieved in a scratching post-bed, which is made in the form of a flat structure made of honeycomb paper filler with stretched cells arranged perpendicular to its plane, and the cells located closer to the center of the scratching post-bed are stretched less than on the periphery of the scratching post-bed, characterized in that the scratching post - the bed is equipped with a latch that prevents the possibility of removing the scratching post-bed from the equilibrium position corresponding to the flat shape.

In one of the embodiments, the latch is made with the possibility of removal during transportation or storage of the claw-bed.

It is preferable to make a claw-bed in the form of a flat cylinder with a central hole.

Preferably, at least one side surface of the cylinder is chamfered and/or rounded.

It is preferable to make the claw-bed-bed one-piece.

In one embodiment, the side surface of the central hole of the cylinder is made with a groove in which a latch is placed, made in the form of a rigid flat part.

The invention is implemented, for example, in a claw-bed-bed made of honeycomb paper filler in the form of a flat circular cylinder 1 with a central hole 2 and with the location of stretched cells 3 and 4 perpendicular to its plane, and the cells 3, located closer to the hole 2 of the claw-bed, are stretched less than cells 4 located on the periphery of the claw-bed. The side surface 5 of the cylinder 1 is made with roundings 6. The side surface 7 of the central hole 2 of the cylinder 1 is made with an annular groove 8, which houses the latch 9, made in the form of a rigid flat circle. When the cells 3 are stretched around the central hole 2, the latch 9 can be removed from the groove 8 for the purpose of transporting or storing the claw-bed. After removing the latch 9 from the groove 8, the scratching post-bed goes into a transport state and takes the form of a pipe 10 with ends 5 and 7.

The claw-bed works as follows. The user stretches the transport form of the claw-bed in the form of a pipe 10 along the end 5 until the claw-bed takes the form of a flat circular cylinder 1, after which the user stretches the central hole 2 and inserts the lock 9 into the groove 8 on the side surface 7, after which the user stops stretching the hole 2, the latch 9 is located in the groove 8 and the scratching post-bed is ready for use.

Thus, the technical result is achieved, in the form of limiting the possibility of withdrawing the claw-bed, when used, from the equilibrium position corresponding to the flat shape.
