The disadvantage of the known scratching post is that its functionality is limited only by the functions of the cat's claw point and the bed and does not allow the cat to play on this scratching post.

The technical problem to which the claimed invention is directed is to create a cat scratching post that is small when assembled and easy to transport, and which allows you to expand its functionality by providing an active game of the cat while ensuring that the cat lies on the cat scratching post. and providing the ability to sharpen claws on a cat scratching post.

The technical result to be achieved by the claimed invention is a scratching post for cats, having small dimensions when assembled and convenient for transportation, consists in the fact that it is possible to both actively play a cat on a scratching post for cats, and a cat lying and turning claws on this scratching post for cats.

A cat scratching post contains a block for sharpening claws made in the form of a honeycomb paper filler 1 or, in another terminology, a honeycomb cardboard in a compressed state. Sheets of paper (cardboard) of honeycomb paper have upper cutouts at one edge of the sheet. Top cuts can be of any shape. The cell size of the honeycomb paper core is 4 mm to 40 mm when stretched. The honeycomb paper core is bonded on two opposite sides with plates 2, for example, made of hardboard or plastic. The block for sharpening claws, made in the form of a honeycomb paper filler in a compressed state (Fig. 2), has the ability, after stretching the honeycomb paper filler with the dimensions of the honeycomb filler cells 4 - 40 mm in the direction of the plates 2 and with rotation relative to the edges of the sheets from the side of the upper cutout, to take the shape of the outer surface for the claw point in the form of a circular cylinder with an upper recess in the middle and at least one annular groove 3 at the bottom of the recess, in each of which a ball 4 is installed with the ability to move in the groove 3. Plates 2 are made with the possibility of fastening to each other ( Fig. 1). The fastening of the plates 2 can be carried out, for example, by means of two slots 5 on the plates 2 by putting on a rubber ring in the slot 5 on both plates 2 or by winding a string or using two magnets (not shown in the drawings). The fixing of the plates 2 to each other can be carried out with the possibility of fixing and detaching.

The upper recess can take on various shapes, such as a circular cylinder or a bowl.

Honeycomb paper filler is made in the same way as described in GOST 23233-78 CELLULAR PAPER FILLER.

The width H of the block for sharpening claws in a compressed state is determined based on the possibility of creating a circular cylinder after stretching the compressed honeycomb paper core. The thickness of one sheet of honeycomb cardboard can be 0, 2 - 1 mm. The length R of the block for sharpening claws is determined from the size of the cat and is usually selected from the range R = 26 - 30 cm, that is, the diameter of the stretched block for sharpening claws is 52 - 60 cm.The width H of the compressed block for sharpening claws is calculated from the possibility of creating the length of the outer circumference block for sharpening claws with a given length of the compressed block for sharpening claws and the size of the cells of the honeycomb paper filler. A cat scratching post works as follows.

If an upper narrowing is made in the annular groove 3, before starting to use the cat scratching post or if the ball 4 breaks, a ball 4 is installed through the inlet 7 into the annular groove 3. Also, the ball 4 is removed from the annular groove 3 through the inlet 7 from the annular groove 3 in case of its destruction.
