Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of environmental safety, and in particular to a method for cleaning tree and shrub vegetation (hereinafter referred to as DKR), contaminated with oil as a result of emergency oil spills. The invention can find application in the oil, oil refining, petrochemical industries, as well as in the transportation of oil and oil products.
Accidental spills of oil and oil products that occur during their transportation cause significant damage to ecosystems, and also lead to negative economic consequences.
The danger of environmental pollution by oil and oil products is primarily associated with the high sensitivity of higher plants to it, despite the fact that they occupy a key position in almost all terrestrial ecosystems, determining the existence and composition of the remaining biological components of biogeocenoses, and therefore the preservation of the existing forest stand is one of the most important tasks of environmental safety.
Oil has a negative effect on the growth, metabolism and development of plants, inhibits the growth of aboveground and underground parts of plants, and significantly delays the onset of flowering. Oiled flowers rarely produce seeds.
Oil pollution significantly changes the morphology of the plant. There is a decrease in the growth of the stem in height, a decrease in its radial growth, oil pollution inhibits growth processes. The root system reduces its size, changes its morphology (transition from the fibrous type of the root system to the tap). The formation of nodules and the development of root hairs stops.
In addition, the negative impact of oil pollution on plants reduces the efficiency of their use in the phytorecultivation of oil-contaminated soils.
From the prior art, a method is known for protecting plants growing on oil-contaminated soils using a microbial preparation containing a cell suspension of the microorganism Rhodococcus erythropolis BKM Ac-2784D, at least 1 × 10 7 CFU / ml of growth medium of the following composition (g / l): NaNO3 - 3.0; K2HPO4⋅3H2O - 1.0; MgSO4⋅7H2O - 0.5; KCl - 0.5; FeSO4⋅7H2O - 0.01; oil or hexadecane at a concentration of 2% as a carbon source (see patent for invention RU 2744094 C1, patent holder: Siberian Institute of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RU), publ. 03/02/2021). This invention is aimed at reducing the stressful effect of oil on plants, improving their nutrition and aeration, stimulating intact plants, increasing the biological parameters of intact plants planted in an oil-contaminated area, but does not solve the problem of cleaning and preserving existing damaged vegetation in places of oil spills and/or oil products.
- 24 с).As you know, work on the collection of emergency oil on the ground is divided into two types: rough and sparing. During rough cleaning by bulldozers and excavators, oil is cleaned off together with the surface layer of the earth. With a sparing one, the upper soil layer and vegetation are preserved: the polluted area is temporarily flooded, and oil is collected already from the surface of the water. In addition, oil is washed off with water jets and cleaned off with drag scrapers (see, for example, Methods for protecting the environment from oil and oil spills: a teaching aid for practical exercises for full-time and part-time students / South Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI) named after M. I. Platov - Novocherkassk: YuRGPU (NPI), 2017. - 24 p.).
The main disadvantage of the crude oil removal technology is the complete destruction of the DKR, the restoration of which can take decades, which inevitably leads to disruption of the ecosystem and the functioning of other biological components of biogeocenoses.
The main disadvantage of the gentle oil cleaning technology is the insufficient cleaning efficiency associated with the use of water, the molecules of which are repelled from the oil molecules, as a result of which fatty contaminants are not removed, as well as the insufficient cleaning safety associated with the use of dredge scrapers that damage the structure. DKR and can lead to their death.
From the prior art, a method is known for abrasive blast cleaning of a surface from organic contaminants, in particular from oil, oil products, industrial oils, lubricants, oil deposits, etc. -active substance (see patent for invention RU 2457933 C2, patentee: State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Ufa State Oil Technical University" (RU), publ. 10.08.2012). The considered method is effective in cleaning production equipment, tanks, tanks, pipelines, etc. through the use of abrasive treatment in combination with a surfactant that reduces the surface tension between water and oil, causing large oil droplets to break into smaller ones and are carried away with the solution.
However, its application to DCR growing in oil-contaminated areas is not possible due to the potential negative effects on the ecosystem of an environmentally aggressive surfactant (neonol) and abrasive treatment that can damage the integrity of the DCR and lead to their death.
In addition, a distinguishing feature of the DKR compared to other processed objects such as metal containers, tanks or pipelines is the heterogeneous, relief, porous structure of the DKR, which contains various living organisms. When DKR is contaminated, oil and oil products not only get to the surface, but are also absorbed deep into the crust, penetrating into its pores. Purification of contaminants with the help of surfactants, which makes it possible to reduce the surface tension between water and oil, contributes to the fact that water begins to tear off small pieces from a dirty spot located on the surface of the container and take them away with it. However, this method will not allow cleaning residual contaminants that have been deeply absorbed into the porous structure of the DCR.
27.02.2011).From the prior art, a method is known for cleaning soil and surfaces of solid objects from contamination with oil and oil products by treating a contaminated object with a microbial preparation consisting of a mixture of cultures of natural hydrocarbon-oxidizing microorganisms isolated by selection from a natural community of microorganisms in the presence of a mixture of a nutrient aquatic medium containing at least , compounds of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium, with oil or oil products, according to which a preparation is used based on a community of microorganisms living on brown algae of at least one biological genus. Moreover, the object to be cleaned is additionally treated with water and a biogenic additive containing at least compounds of nitrogen, phosphorus, magnesium and potassium, while the preparation is used in the form of a suspension of microorganisms containing at least 10 5 CFU per ml, or in the form of a preparation immobilized on solid carrier with a cell concentration of at least 10 5 CFU per 1 g of solid carrier (see patent for invention RU 2412914 C2, patentee: Autonomous non-profit organization "National Committee for Science and Industry" (RU), publ. 27.02.2011).
The disadvantage of the known method should be attributed to the complexity of use, insufficient performance and low cleaning efficiency in relation to the DKR.
A method for cleaning soil and surfaces of solid objects from oil and oil products pollution involves treating the contaminated object with a microbial preparation - an oil destructor that breaks down pollution over a certain period of time (about several days). At the same time, preliminary cleaning of the contaminated surface with the help of surfactants is not performed. Thus, the microorganisms placed on the surface to be cleaned are designed to break down both surface and internal contaminants, as a result of which the application of this method with a high degree of contamination will take longer and will not be effective enough.
When implementing the method, the microbial preparation can be used in the form of a suspension of a selected community of microorganisms in an aqueous nutrient medium. However, the specified suspension does not contain a thickener, and therefore does not have a viscosity sufficient to keep it on vertically located DCR for a long time (about several days), and cannot be on the DCR for a sufficient amount of time (several days) for cleaning, i.e. to. will flow down the trunk after it is applied. As a result, the efficiency of cleaning DKR by this method also decreases.
%: ассоциация штаммов на основе жидких культур Rhodococcus erythropolis ВКПМ АС-1660 и Rhodococcus sp. ВКПМ АС-1260 - 10%, вазелиновое масло - 10%, эмульгатор Т-2 - 1%, минеральная добавка - 3%, вода питьевая - 76%.The closest analogue, known from the prior art, can be attributed to the patent for invention RU 2628692 C2, copyright holders: PJSC Transneft, JSC Transneft - Upper Volga, LLC Transneft Research Institute, publ. 08/21/2017, revealing a method for cleaning soil and water from oil and oil products by introducing biosorbents into the soil with an association of cultures of Rhodococcus erythropolis AC-1260, AC-1660 strains immobilized on a sorbent by aerosol as part of a bioemulsion containing an association of strains, vaseline oil, emulsifier and mineral additive in the following ratio, wt. %: association of strains based on liquid cultures of Rhodococcus erythropolis VKPM AS-1660 and Rhodococcus sp. VKPM AS-1260 - 10%, vaseline oil - 10%, emulsifier T-2 - 1%, mineral additive - 3%, drinking water - 76%.
Said method provides cleaning of soil and water surface contaminated with oil and oil products after accidental spills by introducing into the contaminated soil biosorbents containing hydrocarbon-oxidizing microorganisms immobilized on the sorbent by aerosol. However, this method is not effective enough in relation to the purification of DKR.
The main disadvantage of the prototype should be attributed to the fact that the bioemulsion does not contain a thickener, and therefore the bioemulsion does not have a viscosity sufficient to hold the bioemulsion on vertically located DKR during the time intended for the destruction of oil and oil products (which can reach about several days) and will flow down the trunk immediately after it is applied. As a result, the efficiency of cleaning DKR by this method is reduced.
In addition, this method does not include the stage of preliminary cleaning of the contaminated surface (because it does not apply to the cleaning of solids). Thus, when using this method in relation to DCR, microorganisms placed on the surface to be cleaned will be used to break down both surface and internal contaminants, as a result of which the use of this method with a high degree of pollution will take longer and reduce the speed and efficiency of cleaning.
The technical problem to be solved by the claimed invention is the lack of an established procedure for cleaning the DKR from oil spills and oil products, which excludes the cutting down of damaged wood and the use of environmentally aggressive surfactants.
The purpose of the invention is to develop a method for cleaning oil-contaminated DKR from oil and oil products, which makes it possible to effectively and safely clean DKR without the use of environmentally toxic substances, to exclude cutting down of DKR and secondary oil pollution of soils.
The technical result to which the invention is directed is to increase the efficiency and speed of purification of oil-contaminated DKR growing in oil-contaminated areas, while maintaining the safety of the ecosystem by eliminating the cutting of DKR, environmentally toxic substances and secondary oil pollution of soils.
The specified technical result is achieved in a method for cleaning oil-stained arborescent vegetation from oil and oil products, characterized in that it contains at least one technical step, including soil treatment near the DKR with a sorbent or sorbent material, washing off oil and / or oil products from the DKR bark with a solution of 0 4-0.6% sodium cocosulfate, rinsing the DCR with water, and / or at least one biological step, which consists in treating the DCR with a solution containing:

Осуществление заявленного способа очистки замазученной кустарно-древесной растительности от нефти и нефтепродуктов зависит от степени загрязнения ДКР, а именно от начальной концентрации нефтепродуктов на поверхности коры и времени загрязнения (времени контакта нефти с ДКР).The implementation of the claimed method of cleaning oil-contaminated arborescent vegetation from oil and oil products depends on the degree of pollution of the DKR, namely, the initial concentration of oil products on the surface of the bark and the time of pollution (the time of contact of oil with the DKR).
It has been experimentally established that when the content of oil products is at the level of 0.3-0.4 mg/cm 2 of the surface of the bark, for effective cleaning of the DKR, it is sufficient to carry out only the biological stage of the method and the technical stage can be excluded.
The basis of the biological stage of the method for cleaning oil-contaminated arborescent vegetation from oil and oil products was the use of oil-destructing microorganisms in the composition of a solution for cleaning oil-contaminated DKR, which contains:

The preparation of the solution is carried out before use by mixing all the components manually or using improvised means (for example, mixers or submersible pumps). Mixing is carried out in a suitably sized container (eg barrel, Eurocubes, containers) immediately prior to use.
%:The bioemulsion is an oil destructor and contains a biological component consisting of cultures of Rhodococcus erythropolis strains deposited in the State Collection of Industrial Microorganisms, registration numbers AC-1260, AC-1660, in the passports of which there are data on safety, the ratio of which in the bioemulsion is 1:1 by the volume of vaseline oil, emulsifier and mineral additives in the following ratio of components, wt. %:

CMC 8000 (carboxymethyl cellulose) and xanthan gum are a thickener in the form of a powder, which, when mixed with water, completely dissolves in it. The substance is not toxic to the environment, it is used in the food industry. The use of a thickener (CMC8000 or xanth gum) in the composition of the solution increases the viscosity of the solution and brings the solution to the consistency necessary to keep it on the vertically located surface of the DKR for 1-5 days without flowing down the trunk, thereby increasing the efficiency of cleaning the DKR and preventing secondary oil pollution of soils with DKR cleaning products, i.e. maintaining the safety of the ecosystem.
Bentonite clay is a mineral supplement in powder form and is a structurator.
Sodium coco sulfate is a surfactant in the form of small granules, which, when mixed with water, completely dissolve in it. Sodium cocosulfate is a surface-active substance (surfactant) obtained by multi-stage chemical processing of coconut oil, which is widely used in the production of household chemicals.
Thus, the prepared solution for the biological stage of cleaning oil-contaminated DKR from oil and oil products is a liquid of a homogeneous consistency, which can be applied to the DKR by aerosol using automobile sprayers / knapsack sprayers / motor pumps, while the viscosity of the solution is sufficient for its long-term retention on a vertical DKR.
The application intensity is determined by the technical characteristics of the application equipment. After treatment of the bark with a DKR solution, no additional work is required.
When prepared, the shelf life of the solution is 1 day at an ambient temperature of +5°C to +30°C and up to 5 days at a temperature of +4°C to +10°C. At the same time, the shelf life of the individual components of the solution, subject to the storage periods, is at least 2 years.
The recommended flow rate of the solution is 2.5-3 l/m 2 of oil-contaminated surface.
The most important factor in the use of a solution for cleaning oily DKR is the humidity of the air. In this regard, the application of the method is most effective in wet and cool seasons and periods - in autumn, spring, in the morning, night and evening, during periods of heavy rainfall.
When the content of oil products on the DKR bark is above the level of 0.3-0.4 mg/cm 2 of the bark surface, for effective cleaning of the DKR, before the biological stage of cleaning, it is necessary to first perform a technical stage, including tillage near the DKR with a sorbent or sorbent material, washing off oil and / or oil products from the DCR bark with a solution of sodium coco sulfate and rinsing the DCR with water.
As part of the technical stage of work, a preliminary flush of oil products from the surface of the bark is carried out in the following order. Initially, before processing, the soil near the treated DKR should be treated with a sorbent or sorbent materials in accordance with the instructions for use for the preparation used. Peat sorbents, inorganic, organic or synthetic sorbents can be used as sorbents. Sorbent materials or mats may also be used. Sorbents or sorbent materials absorb contaminants, which are subsequently washed off from the DKR, and prevent re-oil contamination of the soil with DKR cleaning waste, while maintaining the safety of the ecosystem during cleaning.
Next, oil and/or oil product contamination is washed off from DKR with a 0.4-0.6% solution of sodium cocosulfate. Sodium cocosulfate is a surfactant that is not aggressive to the environment, the molecules of which are hydrophilic at one end, that is, they are attracted to water molecules, and at the other end they are hydrophobic and lipophilic (repel water, but are attracted to fats or oil), which allows them to reduce surface tension between water and oil, as a result of which large droplets of oil are torn apart by water with a surfactant into smaller droplets and carried away with the solution.
The consumption of sodium cocosulfate solution is 50 liters per 1 m 2 of the contaminated surface. Preparation of an aqueous solution is carried out manually by mixing sodium cocosulfate in water in a container of the required volume.
In order to finally remove surface contaminants and sodium cocosulfate solution, after DCR treatment with the specified solution, DCR is rinsed with water. If there is sufficient volume in the area to be cleaned or in the immediate vicinity of a reservoir, flushing is possible using a low-power motor pump designed for pumping water, for example, a fire pump.
To assess the effectiveness of pre-flushing after it, bark samples with DKR can be collected at the rate of 1 sample per tree and subsequent pollution analysis. When the content of oil products on the DKR bark is above the level of 0.3-0.4 mg/cm 2 of the bark surface, the technical stage can be repeated.
При недавнем (свежем) загрязнении ДКР предварительный смыв снижает содержание нефти в коре на 8-12%, при застарелых загрязнениях (2-3 года) эффективность предварительного смыва составляет от 10% до 30% от начального содержания (в зависимости от давности разлива).With recent (fresh) DKR contamination, pre-flushing reduces the oil content in the bark by 8–12%; with old contamination (2–3 years), the pre-flushing efficiency ranges from 10% to 30% of the initial content (depending on the age of the spill).
If the content of oil products is less than 1000 mg/kg in washings from the surface of the bark, the biological stage may not be carried out.
When the content of oil products on the bark of DKR is at the level of 0.3-0.4 mg/cm 2 of the surface of the bark, in order to remove residual contaminants, after the technical stage, a biological stage is carried out, including treatment of DKR with a solution containing:

Preferably, the biological step is performed no earlier than 7 days after the technical step to prevent the formation of a film on the surface of the DCR.
15-40%.Under favorable weather conditions (humidity 80-90% and temperature 20-25°C), the reduction of oil products in the DKR bark due to the biological purification stage is 10% in 10-14 days with a single application. Under optimal conditions, in combination with the technical stage of cleaning, the efficiency of a single treatment of the bark with DKR in 10 days is 15-40%.
Thus, the implementation of the biological stage of cleaning for pollution at a level of 0.3-0.4 mg/cm 2 of the bark surface increases the efficiency of cleaning the DKR by providing the possibility of aerosol application and at the same time long-term retention on the trunks of the DKR without flowing down while maintaining safety. ecosystems, due to the nature of the components used and the prevention of secondary oil pollution of soils by products of DKR cleaning.
The implementation of the technical stage of cleaning using a solution of sodium coco sulfate increases the efficiency of cleaning DKR in comparison with known technical methods using water and dredge scrapers through the use of an environmentally friendly surfactant while maintaining the safety of the ecosystem due to the nature of sodium coco sulfate, excluding cutting down damaged vegetation and preventing re-oil pollution soil.
The implementation of a method for cleaning oil-stained DKR from oil and oil products, including technical and biological stages of cleaning, improves the efficiency of cleaning, including old pollution, by providing an integrated approach to cleaning DKR, including a combination of preliminary flushing of large surface contaminants and the destruction of internal contaminants absorbed into the pores of the bark DKR, as well as by providing the possibility of long-term retention of the cleaning agent on the trunks of the DKR without flowing down while maintaining the safety of the ecosystem, due to the nature of the components used, excluding cutting down damaged vegetation and preventing re-oil pollution of the soil.
1.The effectiveness of the claimed method is confirmed by tests conducted on black alder bark at the experimental site of the Buguruslan RNU, Transneft-Privolga JSC in 2021. The results of the purification, including the biological stage, are presented in table 1.
