Abstract

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to devices for massaging the udder of heifers. The device for massaging the udder of heifers consists of a body (1), the upper part of which narrows and ends with a suction cup (2). The body is made of an elastic bellows, the bottom of the body is made of a plate (4) with a fitting (5) for connection to a variable vacuum source. Moreover, a throttle hole (6) is made in the plate, which provides a safe amount of vacuum in the body.

EFFECT: effectiveness of the massage of the udder of heifers is increased by increasing the amplitude of the oscillation of the device.

Description

The invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular, to a device for massaging the udder of heifers.

Known device for massage the udder of animals [1], containing an elastic loaded bellows, communicated with a vacuum source, fixed on the bellows, a one-piece working body with fastening equipment, while the working body is made of elastic material with lateral and central parts, the latter of which has a tapering to the periphery of the shape, and the side of the working body opposite to the central part is made concave towards its center. As the material of the working body, rubberized fabric is used, the thickness of which refers to the largest size of the working body as 1 / 50-1 / 100.

The disadvantage of this device is the complexity of the design and the great complexity of fixing the device on the udder of the animal.

Known device for massage the udder of heifers [2], selected as a prototype, consisting of a casing, in the side wall of which there is a fitting for connection with a source of alternating vacuum, the lower part of the casing is made in the form of a cylinder, and the upper part is tapering towards the center and ends with a suction cup, the bottom of the casing made of elastic membrane with weight in the center.

The disadvantage of the prototype is a small vibration amplitude, which reduces the effectiveness of the massage.

The objective of the invention is to improve the effectiveness of massage of the udder of heifers by increasing the amplitude of the oscillation of the device.

The posed technical problem to be solved in a device for massaging the udder of heifers, consisting of a body, the upper part of which narrows and ends with a suction cup, is achieved by the fact that the body is made of an elastic bellows, the bottom of the body is made of a plate with a fitting for connection to a source of alternating vacuum.

The device for massaging the udder of heifers consists of a body 1 made of an elastic bellows, the upper part of the body 1 is made in the form of a suction cup 2, in the lower part there is a bottom in the form of a plate 4 fixed with a clamp 3. variable vacuum, and a throttle hole 6, providing a safe amount of vacuum in the housing.

The device for massaging the udder of heifers works as follows.

The device is connected to the vacuum line of the milking unit by means of hoses of alternating, constant vacuum and a pulsator. After preparing the udder of heifers for massage (in the same way as is customary for machine milking of cows), the vacuum valve is opened, housing 1 is brought under the udder of the animal, lifted up until it touches it so that the suction cup 2 is between the teats. After the device has sucked to the udder, the hand is removed. When a vacuum is created through the fitting 5, the body 1 is compressed, lifting the plate bottom 4 up. Then, after the pulsator has supplied atmospheric air through the nozzle 5, the body 1 is expanded under the action of gravity and elasticity, and the plate bottom 4 is lowered down. During operation of the pulsator (not shown in the drawing) of the intra-elastic body 1, either vacuum or atmospheric pressure is created, as a result of which the plate bottom 4 performs vertical oscillatory movements, forcing the massage device and the udder of the heifer to smoothly oscillate. The mass of the plate is selected in such a way that the massage device is securely held on the udder and provides maximum oscillatory movement, providing an effective effect on the receptors of the udder.

At the end of the massage, the vacuum valve is closed, atmospheric air is admitted into the housing 1, and the device is removed from the udder of the animal.

Thus, the implementation of the body of the device for massaging the udder of heifers in the form of an elastic bellows with a plate bottom allows to increase the amplitude of oscillations of the device and increase the effectiveness of massage.

Claims (1)

A device for massaging the udder of heifers, consisting of a body, the upper part of which narrows and ends with a suction cup, characterized in that the body is made of an elastic bellows, the bottom of the body is made of a plate with a fitting for connection to a source of alternating vacuum, and the plate has a throttling hole providing safe amount of vacuum in the housing.
