Для решения данной технической задачи предлагается простое по конструкции устройство для измельчения корнеклубнеплодов, содержащее бункер 1 с неподвижным кожухом 2, к которому крепится съемная ножевая решетка 3. Один конец решетки имеет шарнирное соединение 4 в виде пальца, а другой конец решетки крепиться к кожуху при помощи шарнирных откидных винтов 5. Внутри кожуха 2 со съемной ножевой решеткой 3 на валу 6 в подшипниковых узлах установлен барабан 7, в выемках которого расположены и свободно вращаются три вальца 8, имеющие на наружной поверхности ромбовидную насечку. Каждый валец 8 жестко связан с валом 6 при помощи двух водил 9. Привод вала 6 осуществляется через предохранительную муфту 10 от мотор-редуктора 11. Степень измельчения регулируют заменой ножевой решетки 3 с различным расстоянием между ножами. За счет вращения барабана 7 и под действием вальца 8 объем корнеклубнеплодов начинает перемещаться из точки I в точку II по наклонной образующей А, прижимается к внутренней поверхности кожуха 2 и к режущим элементам ножей решетки 3.
