The scope of the invention

The present invention relates to medicine, namely to narcology, psychotherapy, reflexology and can be used in the treatment and prevention of addictions, for example, alcohol, food, nicotine, and games.

The proposed method for treating addictions theoretically proceeds from two important premises.

Firstly, with dependent behavior, a stable pathological condition (UPS) is formed (according to N.P. Bekhtereva). The biopsychosocial model is a complex model of dependent behavior. It is based on a systemic theory, according to which, addiction (alcoholic, as well as any other) is a disease that has biological, psychological and social reasons that make it necessary to use a psychoactive substance (surfactant). A psychoactive substance (surfactant) is taken to change consciousness and this over time becomes necessary to maintain a normal physical and psychological state. Cessation of use causes withdrawal symptoms (hangover) and craving (obsessive desire) for new use. The psychological state of addicts with abstinence worsens. Eating reduces symptoms of discomfort and brings relief. Initial treatment is aimed at eliminating cravings for psychoactive substances (surfactants) and eliminating withdrawal symptoms.

The current level of technology

In modern medicine, there are many different ways to treat alcohol, tobacco and other addictions using psychotherapy, reflexology, exposure to electromagnetic and light waves, methods of suggestive effects on the patient, as well as methods that combine different types of therapy.

Medication methods do not radically solve the problem of cure, and the drugs used often have a negative side effect on the functions of various organs of the patient.
