Известен широкополосный поглощающий оптический фильтр нейтральной плотности [US 2016041318, 2016-02-11, С23С 16/26; С23С 16/44; G02B 5/20], содержащий один или несколько графеновых слоев, расположенных на оптической подложке. Указанный оптический фильтр может равномерно поглощать электромагнитное излучение в широкой оптической спектральной полосе, а именно, в диапазоне длин волн от 400 нанометров до 1 миллиметра, в зависимости от оптических характеристик используемой подложки и от количества размещенных на подложке графеновых слоев, при этом оптическое пропускание снижается примерно на 2,3% на слой.Known broadband absorbing optical filter of a neutral density [US 2016041318, 2016-02-11, C23C 16/26; C23C 16/44;
In one embodiment, an optical filter for attenuating / transmitting light in the visible range between 400 and 700 nm comprises graphene layers (one or more) grown by chemical vapor deposition on SiC and transferred onto an appropriate optical substrate. In addition, the specified optical filter quickly removes heat from the absorbing region and, therefore, can be used in applications having a higher optical power than when used with conventional neutral density absorbing filters.
The specified optical filter is characterized by low absorption, 2.3% per layer, and lack of selectivity. In the case of the claimed invention, the absorption of 2.3% per layer is present, but in addition, resonance absorption in the wavelength range from 550 to 750 nm, which varies depending on the concentration of metal on graphene and reaches 95%, at the highest tested concentrations.
Известна многофункциональная гибкая защитная пленка с градиентной структурой [CN 108335770, 2018-07-27, B82Y 30/00; G21F 1/02; G21F 1/08; G21F 1/10; G21F 1/12; G21F 3/00; Н01В 1/02; Н01В 1/04; H01L 23/373; H01L 23/48], имеющая трехслойную структуру, соответственно содержащую слой графена, нанотрубок из нитрида бора или из углеродных нанотрубок, слой из металла в виде пленки или наночастиц, который представляет собой алюминий, никель, титан, медь или серебро, и гибкий полимер, который представляет собой полиэтилен низкой плотности, полиэтилен высокой плотности, полиэтилен сверхвысокой молекулярной массы или полимер, легированный микро-, наночастицами.Known multifunctional flexible protective film with a gradient structure [CN 108335770, 2018-07-27, B82Y 30/00;
In the embodiment, when the metal is in the form of a film, the specified composite is designed to protect against radiation. In this technical solution, graphene is obtained by reducing oxidized graphite obtained by the Hammers method, and then this graphene is applied to the surface (usually graphene is dispersed in a liquid and sprayed or smeared). The thickness of the resulting film of graphene and boron nitride nanotubes is large and is 0.01 mm ~ 0.05 m. In the case of the claimed invention, CVD graphene is used, the layer thickness of which is about 1 nm. Magnetron sputtering does not have a high accuracy in adjusting the mass of the atomized substance, which is quite acceptable for films with a thickness of 0.01 mm ~ 0.05 m. For the deposition of nanoparticles on films with a thickness of 1 nm ~ 10 nm, it is more convenient and more accurate to use the laser ablation method.
The problem to which the present invention is directed, is to create an optical filter based on graphene, which allows to absorb up to 80% of electromagnetic radiation in the
The problem is solved by creating a filter based on monolayer graphene, which is a composite consisting of three layers: polymer, graphene, metal nanoparticles.
According to the invention, graphene is synthesized using the chemical vapor deposition method on a copper catalytic substrate in an Ar / H 2 / CH 4 gas mixture at atmospheric pressure and transferred onto a polymer surface using a mechanical transfer method, which is based on the thermal pressing process, to obtain polymer-graphene composite. Metal nanoparticles are sprayed onto a polymer-graphene composite by laser ablation at various amounts of laser pulses.
According to the invention, the coating thickness of the polymer-graphene composite with metal nanoparticles is directly proportional to the number of laser pulses and is determined by the desired optical absorption coefficient in accordance with the ratio: K = 0.0001776 × x + 0.4944, where K is the absorption coefficient, x is the number of pulses.
According to the invention, the coating structure of the polymer-graphene composite with metal nanoparticles is configured so that electromagnetic radiation is absorbed by using the plasmon resonance effect, with the most intense plasmon absorption of the polymer polymer-graphene-gold nanoparticles in the wavelength range from 550 to 750 nm, and The most intense plasmon absorption by a polymer-graphene-silver nanoparticle composite occurs in the wavelength range from 400 to 600 nm.
Согласно изобретению, в качестве полимерной поверхности используют полиэтилентерефталат/этиленвинилацетат (ПЭТ/ЭВА).According to the invention, polyethylene terephthalate / ethylene vinyl acetate (PET / EVA) is used as the polymer surface.
According to the invention, the metal nanoparticles are selected from the group of noble metals, in particular silver, gold.
According to the invention, coating a polymer-graphene composite with metal nanoparticles may consist of:
- отдельно лежащих наночастиц со средним размером, не превышающим 20 нм,- separately lying nanoparticles with an average size not exceeding 20 nm,
- крупных наночастиц размером около 200 нм, достигая состояния, когда крупные частицы становятся доминирующей фракцией с тем же характерным размером (200 нм),- large nanoparticles with a size of about 200 nm, reaching a state where large particles become the dominant fraction with the same characteristic size (200 nm),
- отдельных островков с характерным размером 300-400 нм,- individual islands with a characteristic size of 300-400 nm,
- сплошного слоя.- a continuous layer.
An optical filter is a composite consisting of three layers: polymer (polyethylene terephthalate / ethylene vinyl acetate (PET / EVA)), monolayer graphene, metal nanoparticles.
Graphene is synthesized using the chemical vapor deposition method on a copper catalytic substrate. The synthesis of graphene was carried out in a thermal reactor at a temperature of 1075 ° C in a mixture of gases Ar / H 2 / CH 4 at atmospheric pressure.
Graphene is transferred onto the polymeric surface of polyethylene terephthalate / ethylene vinyl acetate (PET / EVA) using the mechanical transfer method, which is based on the process of thermal pressing.
Using laser ablation, polymer-graphene composites are coated with silver or gold nanoparticles at various pulse numbers.
The properties of the filter absorbing radiation made by the indicated method are based on the plasmon resonance effect.
As experiments have shown (the description is given below), the intensity of plasmon absorption directly depends on the thickness of the coating with metal nanoparticles (gold, silver), which, in turn, is determined by the processes of coagulation of nanoparticles on the surface of graphene and is directly proportional to the number of laser pulses.
The formation of nanoparticles with a size of about 20 nm occurs when the vapor of the sprayed material is condensed in a jet formed during ablation of the material. Upon contact with the surface, the particles have sufficient mobility to form larger nanoparticles and a continuous coating.
С ростом массовой концентрации напыления островки сменяются крупными наночастицами, размером около 200 нм, достигая состояния, когда крупные частицы становятся доминирующей фракцией с тем же характерным размером (200 нм).With an increase in the number of laser pulses, an island structure with a large fill factor is formed in the region of low mass deposition concentration; the characteristic size of individual islands varies greatly, reaching 300–400 nm. With an increase in the mass concentration of deposition, the islands are replaced by large nanoparticles, about 200 nm in size, reaching a state where large particles become the dominant fraction with the same characteristic size (200 nm).
20%.The attenuation of transmitted radiation at a small metal film thickness, of the order of 6–7 nm, is associated with the phenomenon of plasmon absorption on small particles about 20 nm in size. For the indicated thickness of the metal film, the transmittance in the plasmon resonance region is close to 20%.
5%.With a further increase in the thickness of the metal coating and an increase in the number of coarse fraction metal nanoparticles (from 150 nm), the signal attenuation is amplified due to plasmon scattering on these particles; the transmittance of the sample drops to 5%.
As the coating thickness increases, the interference response of the film becomes less pronounced, which is due to the high value of the imaginary part of the refractive index of the metal.
The highest degree of attenuation of radiation by coating with silver nanoparticles, achieved in the experiments, was in the wavelength range of electromagnetic radiation from 400 to 600 nm. The highest degree of attenuation of radiation by a coating of gold nanoparticles was in the wavelength range of electromagnetic radiation from 200 nm to 1100 nm.
Experimental confirmation.
The polymer-graphene-silver and polymer-graphene-gold composites were experimentally obtained and their optical properties were investigated.
6000.Graphene was synthesized in a thermal reactor using the method of chemical vapor deposition on a copper catalytic substrate. The synthesis temperature was 1075 ° C, while the copper substrate was in a mixture of gases Ar / H 2 / CH 4 at atmospheric pressure. Graphene was transferred onto the polymeric surface of polyethylene terephthalate / ethylene vinyl acetate (PET / EVA) using the mechanical transfer method, which is based on the process of thermal pressing. A one-dimensional PET / EVA sheet was deposited at a temperature of 190 ° C on a copper substrate with graphene synthesized on it. The resulting samples were mechanically stabilized during separation of the copper foil in order to minimize deformation of the graphene layer. The polymer-graphene composites obtained as a result of the transfer step using the laser ablation method (using Nd: YAG radiation from an ILTI 407b laser with a wavelength of 1064 nm and a pulse duration of 9 ns) were coated with silver and gold nanoparticles for various numbers of pulses. The number of laser pulses for coating polymer-graphene composites with silver nanoparticles varied from 1000 to 6000, and gold nanoparticles ranged from 500 to 6000.
2000.The optical properties of the obtained composites were investigated using an SF-2000 spectrophotometer.
The highest degree of attenuation of radiation by the polymer-graphene-silver composite was in the wavelength range λ from 400 to 600 nm. The maximum signal attenuation occurred in the wavelength range λ from 400 to 600 nm.
In FIG. Figure 1 shows the transmission spectrum as the dependence of the transmission of the sample,%, on the wavelength λ, nm, for silver films deposited upon irradiation of the target with 6000 pulses. Arrows indicate the direction of the shift of the plasmon absorption peak.
In FIG. Figure 2 shows the efficiency spectrum of attenuation of radiation transmitted through the sample after deposition of a silver film.
The measurements were carried out at various points along the vertical axis of the sample, starting from the edge and moving to the center of deposition in increments of 1.2 mm, respectively, at distances of 1.2, 2.4, 3.6, 4.8, 6.0, 7 , 2, 8.4 and 9.6 mm.
20%.As the silver coating thickness increases, the plasmon absorption peak becomes more pronounced and shifts toward IR waves. When the coating reaches a thickness of 6-7 nm, the position and depth of the plasmon peak stabilize. It is assumed that the attenuation of transmitted radiation at a small thickness of the metal film is associated with the phenomenon of plasmon absorption on small particles. For the indicated thickness, the transmittance of the samples in the plasmon resonance region is close to 20%.
With a further increase in the thickness of the silver coating and an increase in the number of coarse fraction silver nanoparticles (from 150 nm), the signal attenuation is enhanced due to plasmon scattering on these particles, while the transmittance of the sample drops to 5%. Thus, it was possible to achieve the maximum selective attenuation of light by more than 7 times for wavelengths of 450 nm, while for wavelengths of 700 nm the attenuation decreases by no more than 2 times. It was revealed that with increasing thickness, the interference response of the film becomes less pronounced, which is probably due to the high value of the imaginary part of the refractive index of the metal.
The highest degree of attenuation of radiation by the polymer-graphene-gold composite was in the wavelength range λ from 200 nm to 1100 nm. The maximum signal attenuation occurred in the wavelength range λ, from 550 to 750 nm.
In FIG. 3 and FIG. Figure 4 shows the transmission spectra of a polymer-graphene-gold nanoparticle composite in the wavelength range λ from ultraviolet to infrared radiation at various numbers of laser pulses (1000 and 6000), as the dependence of transparency, pu, on wavelength λ, nm.
The measurements were carried out at several points along the vertical axis of the sample, starting from the edge, at distances of 1.2 mm, 6 mm, 9.6 mm.
In FIG. Figure 3 shows the transmission spectrum of a polymer-graphene composite functionalized with gold nanoparticles upon irradiation of the target with 6000 pulses.
In FIG. Figure 4 shows the transmission spectrum of a polymer-graphene composite functionalized with gold nanoparticles upon irradiation of the target with 1000 pulses.
The measurements were carried out at several points corresponding to different mass thicknesses of the deposited metal coating.
The region of the most effective plasmon absorption is in the wavelength range of 550–750 nm.
Thus, it was shown that the obtained polymer-graphene-gold nanoparticle composites can absorb up to 95% of electromagnetic radiation, and the obtained polymer-graphene-silver nanoparticle composites can absorb up to 80% of electromagnetic radiation.
