FOLDING BOTTLE PACKAGING

The utility model relates to the design of individual packaging containers intended for packaging and transferring, in particular, bottles.

The consumer packaging market in recent years has developed rapidly in various directions. The scope of use expanded and consumer properties of traditional materials improved: glass, sheet metal, paper, cardboard. Packaging manufacturers showed great interest in polymer sheet and roll materials and the technology of forming products from them as the most promising technology in terms of energy and material costs. Lightweight, durable, reliable, with high consumer properties packaging made of polymeric materials is very attractive both for manufacturers of products and for its consumers.

Polymeric materials are used as packaging in two ways: as a container into which a product is directly packed that cannot be sold without packaging (for example, butter, sour cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, other dairy, confectionery, etc. products), and

as an auxiliary container, serving for the convenience of the transfer, storage or transportation of goods.

Of particular interest are decorative and / or souvenir-type packaging, which is used mainly for the design of wine, vodka and perfumery products.

For example, packaging for bottles in the form of covers made of fabric or leather is known (RF patents for industrial design No. 47936 dated February 18, 2000, No. 48644, No. 48645 No. 49782 dated November 16, 2000, MKPO 09-03). The covers are open from the ends and are equipped with cable ties located around the neck of the bottle and wax seals fixing the ties. The disadvantage of this solution is the lack of information on the brand and characteristics of the drink in the bottle on the outer surface of the covers.

Typical of these solutions is the lack of handles for carrying packages with bottles, which on the one hand emphasizes their purely decorative STYLE, and on the other, creates certain inconvenience to customers.

More simple in execution and materials used (cardboard, microcorrugated cardboard or plastic) are:

- packaging for bottles according to the certificate of the Russian Federation for utility model No. 17517 dated January 9, 2001, MKP B65D 65/00, B65D 71/00, B65D 75/00. The package is made of sheet cardboard and in assembled form has a semi-cylindrical front wall with a window in front and a flat rear wall made integrally with the end walls. -packing for a bottle with a drink No. М9304969 dated 06/23/1993, MKPO 09-03 (bulletin “Industrial Designs of Foreign Countries, issue 2, column 1, 1995, page 266, Germany) is also made of sheet cardboard in the form z-shaped in longitudinal section of a structure with a double base and a double upper wall. Both of these walls are provided with holes in which the bottle is fixed;

- packaging for bottles according to the patent for software of the Russian Federation No. 467339 dated 06/29/1998, MKPO 09-03. This package is characterized by the execution of a case made of a transparent polymeric material from two symmetrical halves, connected in the form of a rectangular rigid package in plan with the upper parts of its walls converging from the rectangular base. At the base of the package, a round platform for a bottle is squeezed out.

The last of these packages are equipped with handles for carrying, made either as separate parts (witness on PM No. 17517), or as a unit with the blank for packaging (in all other analogues).

The closest solution to the proposed one can be considered a folding box according to the patent for software of the Russian Federation No. 49399 dated 01. Ob. 1999. The prototype is characterized by the following set of essential features:

-performance of a single flat scan;

-availability of the vertical orientation case, bottom, cover, handle with a hole for the hand and locking elements for fixing the case details;

-the execution of the middle part of the body in the form of a polyhedron, and the upper part - in the form of a polygon.

The objective of the proposed solution is the creation of an original packaging box for bottles, technologically advanced in manufacture and with improved consumer properties.

To solve the problem in folding packaging for bottles containing a vertical housing; orientation, bottom, handle and locking elements and made of a single flat billet, equipped with scoring, cuts and slots, the housing consists of parallel links located perpendicular to the vertical axis and fastened together by connecting jumpers and supporting ribs.

The links can be in the form of a half ring with cutouts in the shape of connecting jumpers, and connecting jumpers can be made in the form of a trapezoid. For more tight contact with the surface of the bottle, the links may have additional cutouts that repeat the shape of the generatrix of the surface of the bottle.

Support ribs can be located outside the housing perpendicular to the plane of the links, connecting the edges of the diameters of the half rings.

The bottom of the case may have a rounded shape.

The locking elements fastening the entire structure of the housing are located along the supporting ribs and can be made in the form of slots and tongues inserted into the slots.

A single flat billet for packaging can be made rounded from the ends and from a transparent material.

Introduction to the packaging design of decorative links in the form of half rings arranged parallel to each other and perpendicular to the vertical axis gives originality and style to the shape of the packaging container. The implementation of the jumpers connecting the links in a trapezoidal shape ensures the strength of the package design due to the fact that the large base of the trapezoid supports the semicircular parts of the housing. The proposed design of folding packaging can be made of modern polymeric materials that provide the whole range of consumer packaging requirements: lightness, strength and visibility of the packaged goods. The shape of the blank for packaging is designed in such a way that the waste material is minimized, and all the necessary slots, cuts, and creases can be made using simple and affordable equipment, which helps to solve the problem of increasing the manufacturability of the work.

The inventive folding packaging is shown in the following, their drawings:

When folded, the package is a quasi-cylindrical body (Fig. 1), formed by parallelly arranged links 1 in the form of half rings, which are visually perceived as closed rings. The gap between the rings vertically is ensured by the trapezoidal jumpers 2 formed by cuts in the links 1. The position of the links 1 is perpendicular along the arc, forming a handle b for carrying the package. The fixing of the supporting ribs 5 relative to each other and giving the package the described shape is carried out using the locking elements 7 located along the entire length of the ribs 5.

The blank 8 for packaging (figure 2) is a flat, symmetrical relative to the center plate with rounded ends 9, equipped with slots 10, cutouts 11 and scoring 3, providing a quick and unambiguous formation of the finished package.

The proposed design of folding packaging is technologically advanced to manufacture and convenient to use. The links 1 and the bottom 4 reliably cover the bottle to be packed, and the locking elements 7, articulating the supporting ribs 5, fix the position of the bottle in the package. Vigovka 3 allows you to use the packaging repeatedly and at the same time make it possible to transport the packaging not in bulk, but in the form of flat blanks collected at the place of use, or in a trade organization.

The listed design features contribute to the solution of the task.

The overall impression of reliability and elegance of the packaging is complemented by the proportionality of overall dimensions and the proportionality of all constituent elements.

For the manufacture of the proposed folding packaging, it is recommended to use sheet polymer materials, transparent or translucent, as long as possible and economical in mass production.
