Abstract
Description
The invention relates to cable technology, in particular, to a method for the production of a low-frequency cable with paper-cord insulation in a polyethylene sheath intended for use in communication lines.
An analogue of the technical solution proposed for patenting is a high-frequency communication cable, which incorporates a conductive core consisting of copper single-wire insulated conductors twisted into fours, which, in turn, are twisted together. On top of the core, belt insulation and a sheath of polyethylene are made, where the insulation of conductive conductors is made of three layers - the outer and inner layers of solid polyethylene, the middle layer of porous polyethylene (patent for utility model of the Russian Federation No. 166980, publication date: 07/05/2016. )
The main disadvantages of the analogue are the large working capacitance for this type of cable: 60.0 nF (TU 3574-001-848331502-2009) (36.0 nF GOST 5008-73 is allowed), also the cable diameter is more than the requirements of GOST 5008-73 for this type cable. The causes of these shortcomings are that the used method of insulation of conductive conductors is made of three layers: the outer and inner layers of solid polyethylene, the middle layer of porous polyethylene. To reduce the working capacity, the insulation thickness of the cores was increased, which led to an increase in the cable diameter and an increase in material consumption.
The prototype of the claimed utility model is a high-frequency communication cable with cord-polystyrene insulation, which contains copper conductive cores insulated with polystyrene filament (cordelet) superimposed by an open spiral and polystyrene tape superimposed overlapping to the side opposite to the direction of the filament, twisted into star fours around a filler core made of polymeric material, wrapped with fastening threads, which, in turn, are twisted into a core. The core is sequentially applied with belt insulation from cable paper, a welded aluminum shell and a protective polymer shell (patent for a utility model of the Russian Federation No. 181872, publication date: July 26, 2018).
A significant and objective disadvantage of the prototype is the complex and energy-intensive production of cable. The cause of the occurrence is the imposition of a welded aluminum shell.
The technical result proposed for patenting the invention is to simplify the process of cable production by reducing the number of operations.
