Description

The alleged invention relates to brackets for mounting on small arms, for example, on a Kalashnikov assault rifle (AK), additional bipod devices, handles, flashlights, laser sight, collimator sights.

Kalashnikov assault rifles, in configuration until 2012, do not have fasteners on the forend, such as Picatinny rails, on which additional devices are installed.

Known fore-end for Kalashnikov assault rifles with removable and constant tides made in the form of Picatinny rails (utility models RU 47507, 67696, 66501).

These forends have two side and one lower strips on which additional devices are installed.

The disadvantage of these forends is the need to replace their regular AK forend.

Known folding handle for small arms with a standard handguard (RU 2605656), containing a holding handle, a housing, a rod, a hinge, a half shaft with a horizontal shelf, a handle base of two axisymmetric brackets with shanks in the form of half cylinders, a sleeve into which half cylinders of brackets and a rod are inserted made in the form of a screw on which the handle housing is screwed and, thereby, fastens the handle with a hook of brackets for the upper ends of the sides of the standard AK handguard. The brackets on the side surfaces have threaded holes for attaching Picatinny rails, and the handle can be folded 90 ° to the horizontal position.

The disadvantages of the folding handle are: the complexity of the device, the inability to install the lower Picatinny rail on it to install the bipod, the heavy weight, the unreliability of mounting on a standard AK handguard.

The objective of the proposed invention is the creation of a bracket for installing additional equipment on a regular handguard of Kalashnikov assault rifles for models that do not have Picatinny rails, which eliminates the prototype deficiencies, and aimed at simplifying the design, gaining the ability to install a lower Picatinny rail, reducing weight and increasing the reliability of mounting the bracket on a standard forend AK

The technical result is to increase the operational characteristics of weapons.

The technical result is achieved by the fact that the bracket with the lower and side Picatinny rails is made in the form of a single spring clip with a shelf repeating the shape of the lower surface of the standard handguard AK, and with side protrusions equipped with L-shaped hooks at the ends, fixed by them to the upper parts of the forearm sides and screwed in the lower part of the shelf of the spring bracket, through a plate stop having holes for the ends of the fixing screws.

The bracket for installing additional equipment on a regular handguard of Kalashnikov assault rifles contains a housing (1), an emphasis (2), side Picatinny rail (3); Picatinny rail bottom (4), mounting screws (5) (or rivets) of the side bars, mounting screws (6, 7, 8) of the bottom bar (Fig. 1; 2).

The housing (1) is made of spring steel sheet in the form of a bracket with a rounded shelf (9), repeating the shape of the lower part of the standard handguard AK. A plate (10) is fixed on the shelf (9), increasing the thickness of the bottom of the shelf (9). At the ends of the side protrusions (11) of the housing (1), there are hooks (12, 13) with which the bracket is fixed on the sides (14) of the forend (15) AK. On the side protrusions (11) and the plate (10) of the housing (1), there are cutouts (16) for the exact positioning of the Picatinny rails (3; 4) with the protrusions (17) on the housing

(1) and threaded holes (18, 19, 20, 21), in which the strips (3) and (4) are attached to the housing (1) with screws (5, 6, 7, 8) (Fig. 2). The height of the housing (1) is 4-5 mm higher than the front section of the fore-end (15) AK (Fig. 4a).

The stop (2) is used to secure the bracket to the forend. The emphasis is made of sheet steel and is a concave plate, on one end of which, in the clamp (22), a ring (23) of a metal cable is fixed, and on the lower surface of the plate there are holes (24) and (25) for the ends of the screws ( 6) and (8). The size of the ring (23) allows you to insert a strip (3) into it, mounted on the housing (1) (Fig. 2e, g, 4a). The strips (3) and (4) have mounting holes (26) with shelves (27) for supporting the screw heads (5, 6, 7, 8) (Fig. 2z, and, l). Fixing screws (or rivets) (5) secure the Picatinny rail (3) to the housing (1).

A fixing screw (6) secures the Picatinny rail to the shelf (9) and plate (10) in the threaded hole (19) (Fig. 3).

Fixing screws (7) and (8) are used to fasten the housing (1) through the stop (2) to the forend (15) AK and, at the same time, to fasten the strap (4) to the housing (1) (Fig. 3). The length of the screws (7, 8) is selected so that when they are fully screwed into the holes (20) and (21) of the housing (1) and the heads stop in the shelves (27) of the holes (26) of the bar (4), the end of the screw (7 ) protruded above the inner surface of the shelf (9) of the housing (1) less than the end of the screw (8), in proportion to the taper of the lower surface of the fore-end (15) AK.

The size of the ends of the screws (7, 8) corresponds to the diameter of the holes (24, 25) of the stop (2).

Partially disassemble the AK by removing the gas pipe from it.

Partially unscrew the screws (7, 8) from the holes (20, 21) of the flange (9) of the casing (1), so that their ends are flush with the inner surface of the flange (9), casing (1). Put the bracket on the fore-end (15) from below or in front, so that the hooks (12) and (13) grab the fore-end (14) of the fore-end (Fig. 4a). Into the gap between the lower surface of the forend (15) and the inner surface of the shelf (9) of the housing (1), an emphasis (2) is introduced from the front, with the holes (24, 25) down, until the clamp (22) stops, into the end of the strip (4). Screw the screws (7) and (8) into the holes (20, 21) until the screw caps stop in the flanges (27) of the holes (26) of the bar (4). The ends of the screws (7) and (8) in this case fall into the holes (24, 25) of the stop (2), and press the stop (2) to the lower surface of the forend (15). The housing (1) is pulled, the hooks (12) are pressed against the upper surfaces of the forearm sides (14), and the bar (4) is installed parallel to the AK barrel (Fig. 3; 4b; 1a, b, c).

The ring (23) is put on the bar (4) (or ramrod AK Fig. 5) to prevent accidental loss of the stop (2) when removing the bracket from the AK (Fig. 1a).

The elasticity of the housing material (1) and the area of the stop (2) provide reliable fastening of the bracket to the standard handguard AK.

Removing the bracket is carried out in the reverse order.

In the transport position of the bracket, the ring (23) of the stop (2) is put on the side ledge (11) or any Picatinny rail of the housing (1) to prevent its loss (Fig. 4a).

The bracket works as follows:

Due to the elasticity of the body (1), the bracket is installed in a convenient place for the shooter foregrip (15) (in the front section to half its length) and is firmly held on it when firing single and automatic fire. Bipods, a handle or a flashlight are installed on the lower bar (4), and a flashlight or laser pointer is installed on the side bars (3) and used when shooting.

For installation on an AK grenade launcher, the bracket is removed from the AK.

Handguard AK with the bracket mounted on it does not prevent incomplete disassembly of the AK, including the removal of the handguard.

The prototypes of the bracket have been tested and have proven their worth.
