State of the art

Typically, the box contains a base made in the form of a pallet, for example, of wood. The side walls extend from the base in such a way that they form, together with the specified base, a container designed to accommodate any object that needs to be packed / stored in the specified box.

During the manufacture of the box, the side walls can be fastened with nails and / or pulled in such a way as to hold one wall relative to the other. Such operations are long and laborious. In addition, disassembling a nailed drawer makes it difficult to dispose of or disassemble.

In this regard, a system was developed based on fittings connected to two side walls of the box. The document FR 2967976 discloses such a connecting part, which contains two sockets, made in different directions and intended, each, to accommodate the longitudinal end of the horizontal cross member of the corresponding side wall. In addition, the connecting part contains an elastically deformable latch that fits into the slot made in the horizontal cross member of the side wall of the box. This requires machining the side walls before assembling the box. This machining involves additional costs and weakens the design of the box. On the other hand, when disassembling the box, the latch is difficult to remove without the appropriate tool.

A system based on fittings connected to two side walls of a box is not enough to secure the box, in particular, the side walls to the base. In order to withstand the separation of the walls from the base, it is necessary to carry out contraction, which is associated with the cost of supplying the coupling tape and the cost of labor.

DE 102011110110 discloses a comparable connecting part in which the transverse wall has connecting elements in the form of nails or screws that are driven or screwed parallel to the planes of the side walls. Significant efforts, often acting on the side walls during storage or transportation under industrial conditions, can lead to the pulling out of the connecting elements and to the disconnection of the base, therefore, it is still recommended to tighten it.

Disclosure of the invention

The objective of the invention is to develop a solution that eliminates the aforementioned disadvantages inherent in known devices.

The problem is solved due to the fact that the specified first connecting part contains at least one emphasis, designed to come into contact with at least one side of the base of the box to ensure the retention of the side wall relative to the base.

Preferably, said abutment is fixed to said at least one side of the base with rods penetrating said at least one side.

In particular, in the assembly configuration of the indicated box for each side wall of the specified pair of adjacent side walls, the lower and upper edges of the corresponding first horizontal cross member are at least partially opposite and preferably in contact, one with the bottom of the corresponding socket of the first connecting part and the other with the corresponding holding head of the first connecting part.

Preferably, the connecting part comprises two sockets made in different directions, each socket being configured to engage a corresponding side wall of the box with which said connecting part is connected, wherein said part comprises at the level of each socket a holding element having an elastically deformable part and a holding head, wherein the holding head has a contact shape configured to extend with friction along the side wall during insertion the side wall into the socket to ensure deformation of the specified elastically deformable part.

Preferably, both sockets have each, a first end and a second end, with the first ends being proximal and the second ends distal, with each holding element being at the level of the corresponding second end.

Preferably, the part is made of plastic material.

The invention also relates to a method for packaging goods, comprising the steps of:

- supply a plurality of side walls, each of which is provided with a first horizontal cross member and a second horizontal cross member, each having an upper edge and a lower edge at least locally defining a total height of said first, respectively second horizontal cross member,

- supplying a base comprising a plurality of first connecting parts realizing a connection between a pair of adjacent side walls from a plurality of side walls, wherein for each side wall of a specified pair of adjacent side walls, each first connecting part has a receiving socket for a part of the corresponding first horizontal cross member and a holding element, having an elastically deformable part and a holding head, while at least the first connecting part contains at least one emphasis, which is included in contact with at least one side of the base to ensure retention of the side wall relative to the base,

The implementation of the invention

The box described below differs from the known solutions, in particular in that the connecting parts are made so that the horizontal cross member of the side wall is located at its entire height at the level of the connecting part between the bottom of the corresponding socket and the holding head of the holding element containing the elastically deformable part.

The XYZ coordinate system shown in various figures corresponds to the coordinate system of the box and allows you to visually show the location of the various parts that make up the box in this coordinate system. So, the Z axis corresponds to the vertical axis, and the XY axes form a horizontal plane.

According to the embodiment of FIG. 1-3, box 1 comprises a plurality of side walls 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d. Each side wall is preferably provided with two vertical posts 3a, 3b, a first horizontal cross member 4a and a second horizontal cross member 4b, each of which has an upper edge 5a and a lower edge 5b defining at least locally the total height H of said first 4a, respectively second second 4b horizontal cross members. Preferably, this height H (FIG. 2) extends in the direction of the longitudinal axis A1 of the uprights 3a, 3b. By a horizontal cross member is meant a cross member substantially parallel to the X or Y axis or enclosed in a plane parallel to the XY plane. In the assembly configuration, shown box 1 (Fig. 1 and 3) for each side wall of the specified pair of adjacent side walls 2c, 2d, the lower and upper edges 5a, 5b of the corresponding first horizontal cross member 4a are at least partially opposite and preferably in contact, one with the bottom of the corresponding the sockets of the first connecting part and the other with the corresponding holding head 10 of the first connecting part 6. Preferably, even if there is contact, there may still be a residual but negligible gap.

Preferably, the first connecting part 6 is an angular connecting part, that is, said two side walls of a pair of adjacent side walls are respectively enclosed in planes intersecting in a box assembly configuration.

The elastically deformable portion 9 of the retaining element 8 provides a simple and efficient manual assembly using the principle of joining in a groove with deformation of the retaining element 8 during assembly and returning the retaining element 8 to its natural position in the configuration of connecting the connecting part 6 to the corresponding side wall.

The term "opposite" should be understood that there may be a functional gap between the edge (upper or lower) opposite the bottom of the socket and / or the edge (upper or lower) opposite the holding head.

Preferably, the contact is such that the lower and upper edges 5a, 5b of the corresponding first horizontal cross member 4a are at least partially sandwiched between the bottom of the corresponding socket of the first connecting part 6 and the corresponding holding head 10 of the first connecting part 6.

This assembly does not require preliminary execution of slots in the corresponding horizontal cross member, as in the known solutions. In addition, the interaction of the retaining head with the edge (upper or lower) of the horizontal crossbar under consideration facilitates its grip to detach it from the opposite edge by means of a force applied in such a way as to deform the specified elastically deformable part and facilitate disassembly of the box.

Thus, preferably, the holding head 10 has a suitable grip shape and / or hole for insertion of a tool, such as a hook. As shown in FIG. 4a, the holding head 10 has a first side 11, which should be opposite the corresponding upper or lower edge, and a second side 12 in a plane inclined with respect to the bottom 13 of the socket 7, having a connection boundary with said first side 11.

Typically, the resiliently deformable part 9 is preferably made in the continuation of the side partition 14 of the socket 7. Preferably, the side partition 14 is a partition located at the level of the outer side of the box 1 in the assembly configuration, which provides better accessibility for checking the assembly or for disassembling the box 1.

In addition, opposite to the common joint boundary between the first and second sides 11, 12, each of them has a joint boundary with the elastically deformable part 9. This particular shape provides, on the one hand, good grip and, on the other hand, facilitates the deformation of the holding element 8.

In other words, as a result of this embodiment, the connecting part 6 contains two sockets 7 extending in different directions, each socket 7 being configured to fit into it a corresponding side wall of the box with which said connecting part 6 can be connected, at the same time each socket 7, the specified part contains a holding element 8 having an elastically deformable part 9 and a holding head 10. The specified holding head 10 has a penetrating shape made with the passage I with friction along the side wall during the introduction of the specified side wall into the socket 7 to ensure deformation of the specified elastically deformable part 9. In addition, the penetrating shape 12 is designed so that when the side wall is in contact with the bottom 13 of the socket 7, the elastically deformable part 9 returns to its natural position, and the bottom of the socket 7 and the holding head interact to hold the specified side wall along the Z axis. According to a particular embodiment of the box 1, said first connecting part 6 communicates with the base 15 (FIGS. 1-3) of the box 1, and each first horizontal cross member 4a is a lower cross member. In addition, in this particular embodiment, the box 1 comprises a second connecting part 16 (FIGS. 1, 2, 5, 6) comprising, for each side wall of said pair of adjacent side walls (2c, 2d), a receiving socket 17 for part of the corresponding second horizontal cross member, forming the upper horizontal cross member, and a holding element 18 having an elastically deformable part 19 and a holding head 20. In the assembly configuration of the specified box 1 for each side wall of the specified pair of adjacent side walls 2c, 2d, the lower and upper edges in Ora 4b horizontal cross member is located at least partially opposite to and preferably in contact, - the one with the bottom 21 of the corresponding slot 17 of the second connecting part 16 and the other to the holding head 20 of the second connecting piece 16.

In fact, for the same pair of adjacent side walls 2c, 2d, two side walls 2c, 2d of the specified pair are connected by the first connecting part 6 installed in the lower part of the box 1, and the second connecting part 16 installed in the upper part of the box 1 and directly above (along Z) the first connecting part 6. In this case, the first connecting part 6 is involved in holding the lower cross member of one of the side walls of the specified pair and in holding the lower cross member of the other of the side walls of the specified pair. Similarly, the second connecting part 16 is involved in holding the upper cross member of one of the side walls of the specified pair and in holding the upper cross member of the other of the side walls of the specified pair.

According to a particular embodiment, the box 1 is for forming a box in the form of a parallelepiped. For this, it contains four side walls, four first connecting parts 6 and four second connecting parts 16. Of course, this is not a limitation, and the side walls can be positioned so that the box section is at the level of the side walls in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the vertical posts , could take the form of any polygon. In other words, the box may contain many pairs of adjacent side walls 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, with each pair interacting with the corresponding first connecting part 6 and with the corresponding second connecting part 16 (in this case, each side wall of the box interacts with the two first connecting parts and with two second fittings 16).

According to an embodiment, the second connecting part 16 has a shape different from that of the first connecting part 6. This facilitates, in particular, the assembly of the box, as it provides faster visual identification.

According to a particular embodiment of the second connecting part 16 (Fig. 5), each socket 17 of the second connecting part 16 has two opposed lateral inner sides 22a, 22b, the gap E1 between which substantially corresponds to the thickness of the second horizontal cross member entering into the specified socket 17 of the second connecting part 16. By the expression "essentially corresponds to the thickness" it should be understood that the gap is provided in such a way that either allows you to clamp the second cross between the two inner by them parties, or allows functional clearance. In particular, each nest of the second part 16 has an additional inner side 22c, the gap between which and one of the two lateral inner sides 22a allows you to place part of the corresponding second horizontal cross member, as well as part of the vertical strut mounted on the specified corresponding second horizontal cross member.

The features of a particular embodiment of the second connecting part 16 described in the previous paragraph can also be applied to the first connecting part 6, as shown in FIG. 4a.

Preferably, both sockets 7 of the first part have each end separated from the other sockets of the first part by a partition wall 23 (FIG. 4). This dividing wall can be formed by the surfaces of a rectangular or square pipe located in the corner of the connecting part 6 at the boundary between the two sockets 7. This provides better retention of the elements and parallelism of the walls of the box.

In the case of the second part 16, both sockets 17 (Figs. 5 and 6) each have two opposite open ends along the longitudinal axis of the inserted horizontal cross member (X or Y axis in the particular example shown in the figures). In other words, in the configuration of the assembly, a horizontal cross member installed in said socket 17 projects on two sides of said socket 17 along the longitudinal axis of said installed horizontal cross member. This allows you to use less material and, therefore, reduce production costs.

According to a particular embodiment of the second part 16 (FIG. 6), each respective socket 17 does not have a cavity for mounting a vertical stand. In this embodiment, each socket 17 contains only two opposite inner sides 22a, 22b connected by a bottom 21, forming a gap between these inner sides 22a, 22b.

According to an improvement of the second connecting part 16 (Fig. 7), it contains means to facilitate its positioning and / or its engagement with the base 15 of another box 1, which is laid on the first box containing the specified second connecting part 16. In other words, the second part may comprise (Fig. 7) a base 24 having a first side 24a on which the sockets 17 are made, this first side 24a containing the zones forming the bottom 21 of the sockets 17, and a second side 24b (opposite the first side) containing engagement elements 25. The engagement elements 25 can be made in the form of pointed pins that must penetrate into the base. According to another possibility, the second part comprises a base 24 having a lower side 24a, at the level of which there are two sockets 17, designed to interact with the two side walls of the specified box 1, and the upper side 24b. Preferably, the upper side 24b comprises engagement elements 25 with the lower side of the base 15 of the additional box stacked on the box.

In addition, the first connecting part 6 may include guide elements or stops 26 (FIGS. 4a and 4b), which should abut against a portion of the edge of the base 15 for positioning. According to an improvement, the first connecting part 6 contains two stops 26 extending from the lower side of the part 6 and enclosed in different planes, while these two stops 26 are designed to come into contact with two adjacent side sides of the base 15 of the box. In other words, the first part 6 may comprise a base having an upper side, at the level of which there are two sockets for interacting with two side walls of the indicated box, and a lower side, while this part contains two stops 26 extending from the lower side or protruding beyond the lower side, while these two stops 26 are intended to come into contact with two adjacent side sides of the base 15 of the box 1.

When for each side wall of the box each longitudinal end of each lower horizontal cross member comes into the corresponding socket of the corresponding connecting part with the guide element described above, this also ensures mutual retention of the side walls relative to the base 15 of the box 1.

As shown in FIG. 4b, at least one of the stops 26 may have a portion 36 wide enough to improve mutual retention of the side walls relative to the base 15 of the drawer 1. Thus, the emphasis may comprise an expanded portion 36, for example, at the angle of the connecting part, then a portion of a lower height extending to the end of the bottom 13 of the part. Preferably, in view of the subsequent packaging provided, the expanded part has a height (in the z direction) of at least 2 cm and even 3 cm under the lower surface of the bottom 13 of the part and / or a length of at least 5 cm (in the x or y direction). The stops 26 may be identical in two directions (x and y) of the part or different.

The beveled shape of the penetrating portion 12, descending in the direction from the outside to the inside of the box, allows it to be pulled out with a simple touch of a finger without using a tool.

As shown in FIG. 4, 5 and 6, both sockets 7, 17 of the connecting part (both the first and second) have each, the first end and the second end, the first ends being proximal (and separated by a septum 23, as shown in the example in FIG. 4a, or communicating with each other, as in the example of Fig. 5), and the second ends are distal. In this case, each holding element 8, 18 is made at the level of the corresponding second end.

In FIG. Figure 4c shows that the stop 26 of the connecting part 6 comes into contact with each of the sides of the corner of the base 15 on a sufficiently wide surface to ensure that the connecting part 6 and therefore the side walls are held relative to the base 15 of the box 1.

This design is most suitable for the method of packaging goods, the steps of which are described below.

Preferably, the abutment 26 is pre-mounted on at least one side and preferably on two adjacent sides of the base 15 using rods penetrating the side or sides. For example, penetrating rods can be screws, nails and even rivets. In particular, they can be made in the form of latches, such as latches, often used in the packaging field, which are more preferred because of their ease of use.

Both first stages can be carried out simultaneously in the form of a single stage, which delivers a kit that includes a base, pre-equipped with lower connecting parts, side walls and upper connecting parts.

In the third step, a pair of adjacent side walls 2c, 2d from a plurality of side walls is inserted into one of the connecting parts 6 pre-fixed to the base 15. At the same time, the holding element 6, on the one hand, and the stop 26, on the other hand, ensure the holding of the side walls relative to the base 15.

It should be noted that the emphasis 26 contributes to the retention of the side walls, through which the rods of nails, screws or latches do not have to pass. For example, in an alternative embodiment, in which the bottom 13 is fixed on the base 15 in one way or another, the support of the abutment 26 on the side of the base allows avoiding the tearing of the connecting part 6 when a force is exerted from the inside to the corresponding side wall. The rods penetrating into the stop 26 along an axis perpendicular to the plane of the wall create an additional effect that resists tearing off when a force is applied along an axis perpendicular to the plane of the base.

In a fourth step, goods based on 15 are placed on the base. Such an implementation of the method is most suitable for packaging heavy goods, such as engines and / or vehicle body components. A pair of side walls inserted at the previous stage into the connecting part 6 serves as a reference mark for the operator to position the goods laterally on the base 15. The connection of the connecting part 6 to the base 15, as mentioned above, ensures that the side walls are retained even in the event of a collision with the goods during its placement.

In a fifth step, other side walls 2a, 2b are inserted into other connecting parts 6 to obtain a box 1 for packaging goods.

In a sixth step, the second connecting part 16 is seated on at least one pair of adjacent side walls 2c, 2d of the plurality of side walls. The sixth stage can be carried out in two stages. In the first stage, it is possible to arrange the second connecting part 16 on top of adjacent side walls 2c, 2d before placing the goods on the base 15, in order to strengthen the connection of the side walls during the placement of goods. In the second stage, you can install other connecting parts 16 on top of all adjacent side walls 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d after placing the goods on the base 15, to complete the drawer 1, strengthening the connection of the side walls. You can also install a cover on top of the side walls at the beginning of this second stage.

Everything that has been stated in connection with the connecting part 6, 16 can be applied to the box 1, if it contains such a part 6, 16. Similarly, everything that was said about the connecting part 6, 16 within the box 1 can be applied in the framework of the connecting parts 6, 16, considered separately.

Preferably, the fittings are made of plastic (e.g. polypropylene). The use of plastic material allows you to avoid cutting the finger while pressing on the penetrating part 12 when disassembling the box. Other materials such as metal, wood, etc. may also be provided.

Preferably, the side walls and, if necessary, the base is made of wood.

A box according to claim 4, characterized in that it comprises a plurality of pairs of adjacent side walls (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d), each pair interacting with a corresponding first connecting part (6) and with a corresponding second connecting part (16) . 6. Box according to one of paragraphs. 4-6, characterized in that each socket (17) of the second connecting part (16) contains two lateral inner sides (22a, 22b) located opposite each other, the gap (E1) between which essentially corresponds to the thickness of the second horizontal cross member into the indicated nest (17). 8. A connecting part (6) containing two sockets (7) made in different directions, each socket being bounded by a side wall (14) and configured to fit into it a corresponding side wall of the box (1) to which said connecting a part, wherein said part comprises at the level of each socket (7) a holding element (8) having an elastically deformable part (9) and a holding head (10), characterized in that it comprises a base having a top side, at the level of which there are two nests made with the possibility of interaction with two side walls of the specified box, and the lower side, while this part contains two stops (26), made from the bottom side and enclosed in different planes, while these stops (26) are made with the possibility of contact with two adjacent side sides of the base (15) of the box (1), while the specified elastically deformable part (9) is made in the continuation of the specified side walls (14). 10. A connecting part (6) according to claim 9, characterized in that the holding head (10) has a pricking shape (12) configured to pass with friction along the side wall during insertion of the side wall into the socket (7) to ensure deformation the specified elastically deformable part (9). 11. A method of packaging goods, comprising stages in which: - take a lot of side walls (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d), each of which is equipped with a first horizontal cross member (4a) and a second horizontal cross member (4b), each having an upper edge (5a) and a lower edge (5b), at least locally determining the total height (H) of the specified first, respectively second horizontal cross member, - take the base (15) containing the set of first connecting parts (6), realizing the connection between a pair of adjacent side walls (2c, 2d) from the set of side walls, while for each side wall of the specified pair of adjacent side walls (2c, 2d) each the first connecting part (6) comprises a receiving socket (7) for a part of the corresponding first horizontal cross member bounded by a side wall (14) and a holding element (8) having an elastically deformable part (9) and a holding head (10), while at least first connect The part (6) contains at least one stop (26), which comes into contact with at least one side of the base (15) to ensure that the side wall is retained relative to the base (15) and said elastically deformable part (9) is made in the continuation of the specified side walls (14), - insert a pair of adjacent side walls (2c, 2d) from the plurality of side walls into one of the connecting parts (6), - on the basis of (15) place goods, - insert other side walls (2a, 2b) into other connecting parts (6) to obtain a box (1) for packaging these goods. 14.
