The invention relates to the oil industry and can be used in acid treatment of the bottom-hole zone of a carbonate formation.
Для интенсификации притока нефти из карбонатных коллекторов наиболее часто применяют кислотные обработки с использованием составов на основе соляной кислоты с различными добавками ингибиторов коррозии и поверхностно-активных веществ (ПАВ).To intensify the influx of oil from carbonate reservoirs, acid treatments are most often used using compositions based on hydrochloric acid with various additives of corrosion inhibitors and surfactants.
The disadvantages of hydrochloric acid compositions are the high corrosion activity in relation to field equipment, the small penetration depth of the acid composition into the formation due to the high reaction rate with the rocks of the reservoir, as well as the risk of mudding of the bottomhole formation zone due to secondary sedimentation.

(1), (2):The dissolution of carbonates in sulfamic acid is in accordance with reaction equations (1), (2):
Salts of calcium and magnesium obtained by the interaction of the rock with sulfamic acid are readily soluble in water, which eliminates the formation of secondary precipitation.
As surfactants, use is made of ethoxylated alkyl phenol with a degree of hydroxyethylation in the range of 6-12 or a complex surfactant — a water-alcohol solution of nonionic surfactants (polyethylene
The surfactant content in the acidic composition reduces surface and interfacial tension at the interface with the oil, which makes it possible to easily recover the reacted acidic composition after treatment, and the reaction rate of the acidic composition with the rock is reduced, which increases the penetrating ability of the acidic composition in the formation and, as a result, increases the efficiency of acidic treatment of the bottomhole formation zone, as well as a decrease in the corrosion activity of the acid composition with respect to steel. Surfactant molecules upon contact of the composition with the surface of a hydrophobic carbonate rock, adsorbing on it, change the nature of the wettability of the rock, which allows the acid composition to penetrate deeper into the oil-saturated areas of the bottomhole zone.
In the interaction of the acid composition with the metal parts of the field equipment, as well as in the dissolution of siderite, which is found in carbonate rocks, ferric iron compounds enter the solution, which upon neutralization of the acid (changing the pH of the medium) may precipitate in the form of an iron hydroxide gel in bottom-hole formation zone, causing secondary mudding. To reduce the risk of precipitation of iron compounds, ammonium acetate is used.
Ammonium acetate is an ammonium salt of an organic acid, in appearance it is white crystals, it dissolves well in fresh water. Ammonium acetate serves as a stabilizer of ferric ions and a moderator of the reaction rate of acid with carbonate rock due to interaction with sulfamic acid according to reaction (3) with the formation of acetic acid and ammonium sulfamate. Ammonium sulfamate is gradually hydrolyzed by reaction (4) with the formation of sulfamic acid, which ensures slow regeneration of acid in the formation:
(5), (6):Acetic acid is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor. The content of acetic acid in the acid composition contributes to an increase in the dissolving ability of the acid composition with respect to the carbonate rock. The dissolution of carbonates in acetic acid occurs in accordance with reaction equations (5), (6):
(7):Additionally, acetic acid is a stabilizer of ferric iron ions, which allows to solve the problem of technogenic mudding of the bottomhole formation zone. Acetic acid prevents the formation of an insoluble precipitate of ferric iron, forming a highly soluble and slightly dissociating salt - ferric acetate (7):
One of the most important problems in acid treatments is the high corrosivity of the acid composition with respect to steel. To reduce corrosion activity, the acid composition contains a corrosion inhibitor, which is used as urea, or thiourea, or a mixture of urea and thiourea in a mass ratio of 1: 1, or niting.
Карбамид является диамидом угольной кислоты и по внешнему виду представляет собой белые кристаллы, растворимые в полярных растворителях (воде, этаноле, жидком аммиаке).Urea is a carbonic acid diamide and in appearance it is white crystals soluble in polar solvents (water, ethanol, liquid ammonia).
Thiourea is a diamide of thiocarbonic acid and in appearance it is white crystals, moderately soluble in water.
3.Nating is a composite mixture of nitrogen- and sulfur-containing organic compounds with inorganic salts, in appearance it is a white or gray powder with a bulk density of 1.3-1.5 g / cm 3 .
The acid composition is a homogeneous system that has low corrosivity, high dissolving power, a slowed reaction rate with the rock, reduces the number of clogging elements, and reduces interfacial tension at the border with oil.
3.To prepare the acid composition, water is used with a salinity of not more than 1 g / dm 3 .
The acid composition is prepared as follows.
Sulfamic acid, surfactant, ammonium acetate, acetic acid, corrosion inhibitor are dosed in a commodity form with stirring in water using a mechanical stirrer.
An example of a specific implementation in the laboratory:
To prepare the composition in the following ratio of components, wt.%:
1).5 g of sulfamic acid, 0.05 g of surfactant, 1 g of acetic acid and 0.1 g of urea are successively added to 93.85 g of water with stirring and mixed until the components are completely dissolved (Example 1, Table 1).
1).Other acid compositions are prepared in a similar manner, varying the components and their content (see table. 1).
The effectiveness of the acid composition is achieved by increasing the solubility of the acid composition by adding acetic acid. The figure shows the dependence of the solvent capacity of the composition, expressed in the mass of calcium carbonate, which is able to dissolve 1 m 3 of the composition, on the mass fraction of acetic acid.
In laboratory conditions, the corrosion activity of the acid composition with respect to steel was evaluated by the rate of corrosion of metal plates, expressed as the loss of mass of the sample plate per unit surface area of the plate.
Before starting the tests to determine the corrosion activity, preparation of steel plates was carried out. For this, rectangular steel plates made of St3 steel were cleaned with sandpaper until the oxidized sections of the surface of the plates were completely removed. Using a caliper, the geometric parameters of the plates were measured and the total surface area was calculated. Then the plates were washed successively with running water, alcohol and acetone and dried in the open air for several minutes. The mass of the plates was determined to the fourth character.
Next, each plate was suspended on a thread in a glass with a volume of 100 ml so that it did not come into contact with the walls, immersing it in a test acid composition to a depth below the liquid level by 10 mm and kept for 24 hours.
After the exposure time, the plates were removed from the acid composition, washed thoroughly with running water, the corrosion products were removed with a soft brush, then the plates were washed many times with distilled water. Moisture was removed from the surface of the plates with filter paper. The plates were dried to constant weight accurate to the fourth digit.
The corrosion rate was calculated by the formula:
, ,
где V - скорость коррозии, г/м2⋅ч;where V is the corrosion rate, g / m 2 ⋅ h;
q - потеря массы пластинки от коррозии, г;q is the mass loss of the plate from corrosion, g;
S - площадь поверхности пластины, м2;S is the surface area of the plate, m 2 ;
t - время испытания, ч.t is the test time, h
The results of the study of the corrosion rate of the acid composition are presented in the table.
The table shows that the proposed acid compositions have a significantly lower rate of corrosion of steel, and therefore, corrosion activity in relation to steel in comparison with the prototype. The corrosion rate of the proposed composition is lower compared with the prototype 2-40 times. A decrease in the concentration of the components leads to a decrease in the solvent capacity of the acid composition. An increase in the concentration of components in acidic compositions is impractical due to a slight increase in efficiency when the cost of preparing the composition.
Thus, the proposed acid composition increases the efficiency of the acid treatment by reducing corrosion activity in relation to field equipment made of steel, and also increases the dissolving ability of the acid composition in relation to the carbonate formation.
