Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the military field and can be used to protect against guided ammunition (UBP) used to destroy helicopters.
The closest in technical essence and the achieved result is a method (prototype) of protecting a helicopter from guided ammunition with an infrared homing head (UBP IR GSN) (see, for example, A. Lenshin, On-board systems and electronic jamming systems. - Voronezh: Publishing- Polygraphic center "Scientific Book", 2014, pp. 556-559), based on the helicopter flying along a given route, searching, detecting and measuring from the helicopter the parameters of the optical radiation of the functioning of the components of UBP IR GSN, opr determining, by their values, the start-up fact and the angular coordinates of the UBP IR GOS and the shooting of false thermal targets (LTC) emitting in the infrared wavelength range.
The main disadvantages of the method are the short-term combustion of the pyrocomposition of the LTC (5 ... 10 s) and the inability to be in a spatially static state of the airspace, as well as the registration of the fact that the UBP IC GOS directly flies to the helicopter, which limits the time for the implementation of protective actions of its defense complex and leads to increased the consumption of elements of airborne countermeasures for UBP IK GOS. That is, at each launch of the UBP IK GSN, the LTC will be consumed, which will lead to a decrease in the "number of helicopters" from the UBP IK GSN by the airborne defense complex.
The technical result, the achievement of which the present invention is directed, is to increase the efficiency of helicopter protection from UBP.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the known method of protecting the helicopter from UBP, based on the helicopter flying along a given route, searching from the helicopter for optical radiation of the functioning of the UBP IR GSN constituent elements, when approaching the zone of threatening use of UBP IR GSN, aerosol-forming ammunition is shot in the direction a helicopter’s flight and form an aerosol cloud at a set distance, illuminate it with laser radiation in the frequency range of the infrared radiation spectrum of the helicopter’s constituent elements, upon detecting the optical radiation of the functioning of the constituent elements of the UBP IR GOS, the parameters are measured and the parameters of the flight path of the UBP IR GOS are determined by their values, the values of which determine the miss value of the UBP IR GOS Q relative to the helicopter and its value is compared with the specified Q s if Q≥Q s - do not include airborne countermeasures against UBP IK GOS, if Q <Q s - do not include airborne counteractors against UBP IK GOS.
The essence of the invention lies in the fact that they form a long-term false target in the direction of helicopter flight at a distance of effectively simulating the infrared radiation of the functioning of helicopter elements by forming an aerosol formation (AO) and illuminating it with laser radiation in the IR spectrum of optical waves. Upon detection of a UBP infrared seeker, its trajectory flight parameters are determined, the values of which calculate the magnitude of its miss relative to the helicopter and compare with a given value. Based on the results of the comparison, they decide on the use of on-board countermeasures for UBP IK GSN of the helicopter.
The figure 1 presents a diagram explaining the essence of the proposed method. The figure indicates: 1 - helicopter, 2 - laser radiation backlight AO, 3 - aerosol formation (AO), 4 - scattered radiation AO, 5 - flight path of UBP IR GSN to a false target, 6 - flight path of UBP IR GSN to a helicopter, 7 - UBP IK GOS; 8 - means for starting UBP IK GOS.
Thus, the claimed method has the properties consisting in the possibility of increasing the efficiency of helicopter protection from UBP UBP IR GOS, due to the formation of a remote long-term hanging false target by highlighting the AO in the IR radiation spectrum of the functioning of the helicopter’s constituent elements. Thus, the method proposed by the authors eliminates the disadvantages of the prototype.
The proposed technical solution is new, because from publicly available information there is no known way to protect the helicopter from UBP, based on the helicopter flying along a given route, searching from the helicopter for optical radiation of the functioning of the UBP IR GSN components, and shooting an aerosol-forming shot when approaching the UBR IR GSN threatening zone ammunition in the direction of helicopter flight and the formation of an aerosol cloud at a specified distance, highlighting it with laser radiation in the frequency range the infrared spectrum of the radiation functioning of the constituent elements of a helicopter, measuring when detecting optical radiation the functioning of the constituent elements of a UBP IR GSN its parameters and determining from their values the flight path parameters of an UBP IR GSN, determining their miss value for UBP IR GSN Q relative to the helicopter and comparing its value with specified Q s , not turning on if Q≥Q s on-board countermeasures of UBP IR GSN, turning on if Q <Q z on-board means of counteracting UBP IR GSN.
The proposed technical solution is practically applicable, since typical optical-electronic devices and aerosol ammunition and their delivery vehicles can be used for its implementation. For example, powerful lasers can be used as a source of illumination of an aerosol cloud, unguided rockets can be used to deliver aerosol ammunition, a microprocessor can be used to calculate the coordinates of UBP, which performs calculations based on the output coordinates of an optical-electronic direction finder.
