Abstract
Description
This method relates to the mining industry, namely offshore mining, allows you to develop alluvial deposits from the bottom of the continental shelf at low temperatures
A known method of underwater mining of mineral deposits (RU 2049233 C1, IPC E21C 45/00, published 11/27/1995), including mining of sediment, conducting a cut trench, mining of minerals in sections from its border at full capacity to the raft, mining sites are stages in direction of sediment movement.
However, this method does not provide adequate environmental protection from the harmful effects of underwater mining, when using this method, agitation occurs.
The closest set of essential features to the proposed method is the method of underground mining of mineral deposits in permafrost (RU 2179241 C1, IPC E21C 41/16, E21F 15/00, published 02.10.2002), including the formation of primary chamber workings - formation ice pillar, which consists in supplying non-freezing refrigerant to them with a specific gravity less than the specific gravity of water and a negative temperature, supplying water in portions, and working off the secondary chambers, while the freezing time of the ice chain The face is determined by calculation, depending on the temperature of the refrigerant.
The disadvantage of this method is that the water is supplied to the chamber in batches, which takes a long period of time.
The main objective of the invention is to extract minerals from the bottom of the Arctic shelf in harsh climatic conditions. The technical result is to reduce costs and environmental pressure on the environment from mining operations at the bottom of the Arctic shelf at low temperatures.
The problem is achieved in that in the method of mining solid minerals from the bottom of the Arctic shelf, including the development of chamber workings, the formation of ice bodies with a specific gravity less than the specific gravity of water, according to the technical solution, the place of development is divided into sections and mining of the mineral deposit in the chess the order, creating an artificial lane in each section, they work out the first section, at the bottom of which a dome is connected, connected to the surface by a flexible pipe, and then bribed Through the flexible pipe, water is pumped from the water layer above the halocline level, and after the formation of soil ice bodies in the dome space and the dome ascends to the surface, the second section is mined diagonally from the first section to restore its ice surface, then the cycle is repeated until the field is completely worked out, this power layer of the mined mineral is determined by the formula:
где hсл - мощность слоя отрабатываемого полезного ископаемого, м;where h SL - the power layer of the mined mineral, m;
ρл - плотность льда, кг/м3;ρ l - ice density, kg / m 3 ;
Vл - объем льда под куполом, м3;V l - the volume of ice under the dome, m 3 ;
- средняя плотность полезного ископаемого на дне моря, кг/м3; - the average density of minerals at the bottom of the sea, kg / m 3 ;
a и b - длина и ширина купола соответственно, м;a and b are the length and width of the dome, respectively, m;
- the value corresponding to one part of the mineral to (14 ÷ 16) parts of ice, for guaranteed ascent of the dome to the surface of the water area.
The method is illustrated graphically. In FIG. 1 is a diagram of the development of a field field, FIG. 2 - scheme of mining from the bottom of the shelf, where: 1 - field field; 2 - mining sites; 3 - artificial lane; 4 - floats; 5 - submersible pump; 6 - flexible pipe; 7 - dome; 8 - cables; 9 - check valves; 10 - anchors; 11 - the edge of the dome; 12 - face; 13 - line halocline; 14 - dome space; 15 - GLT; 16 - winches.
The method is as follows. Using well-known technology and tools, we divide the field of field 1 into mining sites 2 in a checkerboard pattern. An artificial lane 3 is created at each mining site to provide access to the mining complex, which consists of floats 4, a submersible injection pump 5, a flexible pipe 6, a
Dividing the field of the field into mining sites in a checkerboard pattern is carried out in order to maintain the integrity of the strength properties of the ice surface from which mineral extraction is performed. After the mineral layer is completely worked out, the formation of the lane is done diagonally from the worked out area, so the lane formed in the first section freezes, restoring the integrity of the ice surface. After mining the second section, the operation is repeated until the mining of the field of the mineral deposit is completely worked out.
The supply of fresh water to the domed space ensures the effective formation of HLT due to the temperature difference between the fresh water pumped from the surface and the bottom of the water area and is safe from an environmental point of view.
The device for collecting HLT in the form of a dome is selected taking into account the least resistance to the movement of the liquid when the complex rises to the surface.
