Abstract

FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the light weapons, particularly, to the stocks with a butt pivotally connected to a fore grip, and may be used in combat, hunting, or sports weapons. The light weapon stock contains the fore grip (1) and the butt (2). The fore grip (1) is pivotally connected with the butt (2) via the axis (3) with the possibility of rotation of the fore grip (1) and the butt (2) relatively to each other. For keeping the butt (2) in combat (unfolded) position, there is a lock (4) with a spring in the fore grip (1). For keeping the butt (2) in traveling (folded) position, there is a hole (8), in which a stopper (9) with a spring is installed, in the butt (2) and there is a groove (11) in the fore grip. There is a projection (12), which enters into the groove (11) of the fore grip (1) in the traveling (folded) position of the butt (2), on the stopper (9). For prevention of stopper (9) detachment from the butt (2), there is a plunger (13) installed in the butt (2).

EFFECT: invention provides simplification of structure and increasing of operation reliability.

Description

The invention relates to small arms, namely to stocks containing a stock pivotally connected to the forearm, and can be used in combat, hunting and sports weapons.

The known mechanism for fixing the folded stock of small arms (RF patent No. 123924 from 09.21.2012, F41C 23/04), including a fixed element made in the form of a latch with an annular spring and a fixing element made in the form of a latch housing with an internal covering area for interaction with ring spring latch.

The disadvantages of this device are:

- a protruding fixed element can cause injury to the shooter, as well as cling to clothes and equipment of the shooter;

- the location of the annular spring on the latch can lead to its loss, which will lead to inoperability of the locking mechanism;

- the implementation of the locking element in the form of a latch housing with an inner female zone can lead to the filling of the inner female zone with dirt or ice, which will lead to inoperability of the locking mechanism.

Known small arms with a folding butt (RF patent No. 2077016, F41C 23/04), containing a butt pivotally mounted on the receiver, a spring-loaded locking position, a spring-loaded latch stowed position. The spring-loaded latch of the stowed position is made in the form of a bracket with two teeth, the first tooth interacting with the hook on the butt with the possibility of holding the butt in the stowed position, the second tooth contacts the locking position of the fighting position with the possibility of turning the latter off when the latch is exposed to the first tooth, and the lever is used to separation of the first tooth of the latch of the stowed and combat positions with the butt clutch when moving the butt from the stowed position to the stowed position.

The disadvantages of this device are:

- the tooth of the latch of the traveling and combat positions, interacting with the hook on the butt, protrudes beyond the dimensions of the receiver and can cause injury to the shooter, as well as cling to clothes and equipment of the shooter;

- combining several functions in the latch of the stowed and combat positions, namely, the first tooth holds the butt in the stowed position, the second tooth disables the combat position lock, the lever disconnects the first tooth from the butt hook - complicates the design and reduces the reliability of operation, in particular, it is possible to turn off the combat position lock in case of accidental exposure to the first tooth protruding beyond the dimensions of the receiver.

The objective of the invention is the creation of a box of small arms, providing a technical result, consisting in simplifying the design and increasing the reliability.

This technical result in the bed of small arms containing a butt pivotally connected to the forearm, a spring-loaded latch holding the butt in the combat (folded) position, the mechanism for fixing the butt in the stowed (folded) position, is achieved by the fact that the mechanism for fixing the butt in the stowed position is made in a spring-loaded stopper located in the butt hole with a protrusion interacting with a groove made in the forend.

The spring-loaded latch of the combat position interacts with the butt in the stowed (folded) position while compensating for gaps in the butt fixing mechanism between the protrusion of the stopper and the forend groove.

The stock of small arms contains the forearm 1, butt 2. The forearm 1 is pivotally connected to the butt 2 through the axis 3 with the possibility of rotation of the forearm 1 and the butt 2 relative to each other. To hold the butt 2 in the combat (tilted) position, the latch 4 with the spring 5 is installed in the forend 1. One of the ends 6 of the latch 4 interacts with the butt 2 in the combat (tilted) position, and the second end 7 protrudes relative to the side surface of the forend 1 by L so that the butt 2 in the stowed (folded) position abuts against the latch 4, compressing the spring 5.

To hold the stock 2 in the stowed (folded) position in the stock 2, a hole 8 is made in which a stopper 9 with a spring 10 is installed, and a groove 11 is made in the forend 11. A protrusion 12 is made on the stopper 9, which enters the groove 11 of the forearm 1 when stowed ( folded) position of the butt 2. To prevent separation of the stopper 9 from the butt 2 in the butt 2, a pin 13 is installed.

It should be noted that the protrusion 12 of the stopper 9 is made in such a way that when the butt 2 is in the stowed (folded) position, the protrusion 12 is in the groove 11 of the forearm 1 and in the hole 8 of the butt 2 at the same time.

The mechanism of fixation of the folded stock of small arms is as follows.

To translate the butt 2 in the stowed (folded) position, press the latch 4 until the end 6 of the latch 4 is disengaged from the butt 2 and turn the butt 2 around axis 3 until the groove 11 of the forearm 1 aligns with the protrusion 12 of the stopper 9. Under the action of the spring 10, the stopper 9 and its protrusion 12 will go into the groove 11 of the forearm 1 and thereby fix the butt 2 in the stowed (folded) position.

It should be noted that when the butt 2 is in the stowed (folded) position, the butt 2 abuts against the end 7 of the latch 4, compressing the spring 5. This compensates for the gaps between the protrusion 12 of the stopper 9 and the groove 11 of the forearm 1, which reduces the pitching of the butt 2 in the stowed (folded) position.

To translate the butt 2 into the combat (tilted) position, it is necessary to drown the stopper 9 until the protrusion 12 of the stopper 9 comes out of the groove 11 of the forearm 1 and turn the butt 2 about axis 3 until the end 6 of the latch 4 engages with the butt 2.

When translating butt 2 into the combat (tilted) position and when butt 2 is in the combat (tilted) position, the protrusion 12 of the stopper 9 abuts against the surface of the forearm 1 and does not prevent the butt 2 from turning around axis 3.

Thus, the proposed design of the box of small arms allows us to simplify the design and improve reliability.

A small arms box containing a stock pivotally connected to the forearm, a spring-loaded latch for the combat position, a mechanism for fixing the butt in the stowed position, characterized in that the mechanism for fixing the stock in the stowed position is made in the form of a spring-loaded stopper located in the hole of the butt with a protrusion interacting with a groove made in the forend. 2. The bed according to claim 1, characterized in that the spring-loaded latch of the combat position interacts with the butt in the stowed position while compensating for gaps in the butt fixing mechanism between the protrusion of the stopper and the forend groove.
