The invention relates to small arms and can be used in automatic small arms, devices structurally similar to small arms.

Known for the 5.45 mm Kalashnikov light machine gun RPK-74M (see https://topwar.ru/76782-ruchnoy-pulemet-rpk-74-i-ego-modifikacii.html), containing a receiver with a barrel, articulated butt with butt plate and butt hook, spring-loaded butt lock, spring-loaded latch.

The disadvantage of this analogue is the need to use accessories to translate the butt in the stowed (folded) position.

The 5.45 mm AK74M Kalashnikov assault rifle is known (see M. Popenker “Assault Rifles of the World.” M .: ACT “Polygon”, 2004), selected as the closest analogue, containing a receiver with a barrel, articulated buttstock of constant length , spring-loaded stock lock, spring-loaded latch. The butt retainer holds the butt in the combat position, and the latch located in the front of the receiver holds the butt in the stowed (folded) position.

The disadvantage of this design of the butt fixation unit in the stowed (folded) position is the limitation of functionality, since in the case of installing a length-adjustable (telescopic) butt, fixation is possible only in one of several positions along the length, which leads to a violation of the butt adjustment when moving it to stowed position.

The technical task of the invention is to increase the operational characteristics of weapons, expanding functionality.

The technical result consists in providing fixation in the stowed position of any butt, including a length-adjustable (telescopic) butt for any length of the butt.

The problem is achieved in that in small arms with a folding butt, containing a receiver with a barrel and a butt plate, a spring-loaded butt lock, a butt with a tip pivotally mounted on the axis, in which the folding butt is fixed by a spring-loaded butt hook located on the axis of rotation of the butt. The butt of the butt is made in the form of a two-shouldered lever with the possibility of translational movement along the axis, one shoulder of the hook interacts with the tip of the butt, and the second shoulder of the hook interacts with the butt plate. The butt hook has a hole for mounting it on the product and a cylindrical protrusion for mounting the hook spring. The butt hook interacts with the protrusion on the butt tip. The shoulder of the butt of the butt, interacting with the tip, is made with a slope to facilitate the entry of the butt of the butt on the protrusion of the tip, it interacts with the horizontal platform of the tip when the butt is in the combat position and when the butt is rotated until the butt is lifted by the hook spring.

The tip is designed to attach the butt to the weapon and has protrusions with a hole for attaching to the butt plate of the receiver and a protrusion with horizontal and vertical platforms for interaction with the hook of the butt. The hook spring is mounted on the axis and represents a compression spring with two bent ends, one of which interacts with the butt pad - is located in the groove of the butt plate of the receiver, the other end of the hook spring interacts with the butt hook - is put on the butt hook. The spiral part of the spring is designed to lift the butt hook on the protrusion of the tip, and the bent ends of the spring create a torque by pressing the hook on the supporting plane of the butt plate of the receiver.

The proposed design of the butt fixation unit in the stowed position provides for the possibility of using on all Kalashnikovs and hunting rifles created on the basis of the Kalashnikov assault rifle, in which a butt plate is used for the butt folding on the side of the receiver.

The small arms contains a receiver 1 with a barrel (not shown), with a back plate 2, a spring-loaded butt lock 3, a butt 4 with a tip 5 pivotally mounted on the axis 6. In addition, the butt hook 7 and the hook spring 8 are mounted on the axis 6. The hook 7 of the butt has the ability to translate along the axis 6 under the action of the spring 8 of the hook. The hook 7 of the butt is a two-arm lever. In the stowed (folded) position of the butt, shoulder 9 of the butt of the butt interacts with the protrusion 10 of the tip 5 (Fig. 3). The protrusion 10 of the tip 5 has a horizontal platform 11 and a vertical platform 12 for interaction with the hook 7 of the butt. The shoulder 13 of the hook 7 of the butt interacts with the supporting plane 14 of the butt plate 2.

A cylindrical protrusion 15 is made on the hook 7 of the butt, on which the spiral part of the hook spring 8 is worn (Fig. 4). One end 16 of the spring 8 of the butt hook is located in the hole 17 formed by a groove in the back plate 2 and the side wall of the receiver 1 (Fig. 1). The second end 18 of the spring 8 of the butt of the butt is located in the notch 19, made in the hook 7 of the butt (Fig. 3).

To bring the weapon to the stowed position, it is necessary to recess the latch 3 of the butt, while the latch 3 of the butt will disengage from the tip 5. Fold the butt 4 by turning it about axis 6 through 180 °, while the shoulder 9 of the butt 7 of the butt will mesh from a horizontal platform 11 of the protrusion 10 of the tip 5, rises up under the action of the hook spring 8 and, having interacted with the vertical platform 12 of the protrusion 10 of the tip 5, fixes the butt 4 in the stowed position.

To bring the weapon into combat position, it is necessary to press on the spring loaded hook 7 of the stock, lowering it down. Rotate the butt 4 180 ° until it engages with the latch 3 of the butt.

The proposed design of small arms makes it possible to increase the operational characteristics of the weapon by ensuring reliable fixation of the stock, including a length-adjustable (telescopic) stock in the stowed position.
