Abstract
Description
The invention relates to construction, in particular to tools used in finishing work for grouting the coating layer of a plaster coat.
Known grater (see GOST 25782-90 "Rules, graters and graters", Grater Type T, Fig. 5), containing a rack with a working surface and a handle fixed at two points on the upper surface of the rack.
A grater is also known (see GOST 25782-90 “Rules, graters and graters”, Solid grater Type TC, Figure 6), containing a foam stand with a rectangular working surface and a foam handle made in one piece with the stand and fixed to the top the surface of the rack using vertical supporting elements interconnected by means of a horizontal element.
A disadvantage of the known grater is that during operation, when an alternating force is applied to the handle when grouting the surface with circular and reciprocating movements, the points of contact between the handle and the surface of the rack are often destroyed, which ultimately leads to breaking off the handle from the surface of the rack and, as a result , grater failure.
In addition, during the surface grouting, the fingers of the worker’s hand cover the grater handle all the time in one position, regardless of operating conditions, which leads to hand fatigue, as almost in the process of grouting, the same muscle groups of the hand all the time work.
The objective of the invention is to increase the durability and ease of use by expanding operational capabilities.
This task is achieved by the fact that the grater containing a foam rack with a rectangular working surface and a foam handle made in one piece with the rack and mounted on the top surface of the rack using vertical support elements interconnected by a horizontal element, the vertical support elements are made in in the form of a continuous vertical wall of a horseshoe-shaped form, resting on the lower surface of the rack in the middle of the axis coaxially with the longitudinal axis, and a horizontal element is formed as a plane horseshoe shape conjugate with the upper part of the vertical wall forming together with the latter niche in the form of a handle at the rack surface, the wall thickness of the vertical wall and the plane of the horseshoe shape is not less than the thickness of the foam handle and the working surface of the foam strut is formed of a square shape.
Compared with the known grater, it provides an increase in the service life, while eliminating the unexpected tearing of the handle from the rack during operation, changing, if necessary, the monotonous mode of grouting by changing the position of the hand on the tool, forcing different muscle groups of the hand to work alternately, making it easier while performing a grout operation.
In FIG. 1 shows a grater, general view; in FIG. 2 - gripping the handle when grouting “under the mitten”; in FIG. 3 - capture of the handle from below; in FIG. 4 - capture of the handle from above.
1.The grater contains a
The grater works as follows.
Depending on the height of the rubbed surface with respect to the torso of the worker, a corresponding grab by the hand of the grater handle is performed.
When grouting the surface at the level of the head of the worker and above, it is advisable to use the grip of the handle “under the mitten” (see Fig. 2). In this case, the fingers of the hand are inserted into the niche of the handle in such a way that the palm surface interacts with the top surface of the
When grouting the surface at the level of the torso of the worker, it is advisable to use the traditional grip of the handle from the bottom (see Fig. 3). In this case, the fingers of the hand are inserted into the niche of the handle so that the inner surface of the fingers interacts with the inner surface of the
When grouting the surface below the body of the worker in the area of the legs and closer to the supporting surface, it is advisable to use the grip of the handle from above (see Fig. 4). In this case, the fingers of the hand are inserted into the niche of the handle so that the inner surface of the fingers interacts with the inner surface of the
The wall thickness of the
