Abstract
Description
The invention relates to veterinary medicine, and in particular to methods for treating dermatitis in animals.
[1-2].Currently, many tools and methods have been developed for the treatment of various skin diseases of animals, including dermatitis. Despite the successes achieved by domestic and foreign dermatology, the incidence of animals with dermatoses remains high. Currently, there is an increase in the number of sick animals resistant to traditional external therapy, and many dosage forms cannot be used due to drug intolerance and the formation of side effects [1-2].
100% [3].Known agent for treating skin inflammatory and allergic etiology in cats and dogs, including glucocorticosteroid, antibiotic and excipient. The composition contains: hydrocortisone (2.3%), neomycin sulfate (1.3%) and lanolin - up to 100% [3].
A disadvantage of the known composition is that when using it, the functional state of the skin of the animal is not restored.
Известно средство для лечения кожи воспалительной и аллергической этиологии у кошек и собак «Стоп-зуд-2», содержащее в качестве глюкокортикостероида полькортолон, в качестве антибиотика левомицетин и метронидазол, наполнителя - лидокаина гидрохлорид, диметилформамид, диметилсульфоксид, спирт изопропиловый и полиэтиленгликоль 400, экстракт календулы и метронидазол (Патент РФ, №2392932, 29.07.2008 г.).Known means for treating the skin of inflammatory and allergic etiology in cats and dogs, Stop-itch-2, containing polcortolone as a glucocorticosteroid, chloramphenicol and metronidazole as an antibiotic, lidocaine hydrochloride, dimethylformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, isopropyl alcohol and polyethylene and polyethylene 400 calendula and metronidazole (RF Patent, No. 2392932, 07/29/2008).
However, this tool is used only in cats and dogs and excludes the use in the treatment of dermatitis in other animal species.
The aim of the invention is to expand the arsenal of means of external therapy of skin diseases in animals.
%:The stated goal is achieved by the use of a drug for the treatment of dermatitis in animals, including an antihistamine, an antimicrobial agent, a local anesthetic, a regenerant and an excipient containing azelastine hydrochloride as an antihistamine, a ball eucalyptus leaf extract, a local anesthetic benzocaine, propolisene regenerant and , in the following ratio of components, wt. %:
Azelastine has an antihistamine, antiallergic and membrane stabilizing effect, reduces capillary permeability and exudation, stabilizes the mast cell membrane and prevents the release of biologically active substances (histamine, serotonin, leukotrienes, platelet activating factor, etc.). Azelastine hydrochloride, a derivative of a new phthalazinone structure, has a prolonged anti-allergic effect. It has pronounced selective properties of a histamine H1 receptor antagonist.
Ball eucalyptus leaf extract. Means of plant origin. Water and alcohol extracts from eucalyptus leaves exhibit bactericidal, antiviral, fungicidal, antiprotozoal and anti-inflammatory effects. It has antimicrobial, especially antistaphylococcal, activity, stimulates regeneration processes.
Benzocaine. It reduces the permeability of the cell membrane for Na + ions, displaces Ca 2+ from receptors located on the inner surface of the membrane, and blocks the appearance and conduction of nerve impulses. With local and oral administration, absorption is minimal.
Propolis. Propolis is a product of the vital activity of bees. It has an antipruritic and analgesic effect, promotes the growth of granulations, accelerates the process of regeneration and epithelization of wound surfaces, and has a mild anti-inflammatory effect.
Affected areas of the skin are treated with the proposed tool, prepared by sequential mixing in a water bath at a temperature of 40-50 ° C and vigorous stirring to a uniform consistency of azelastine hydrochloride - 0.05 g, ball eucalyptus leaf extract - 2.0 g, benzocaine - 5.0 g, propolis - 5.0-6.0 g, petroleum jelly - up to 100 g. In this case, the skin is treated 2 times a day.
The high efficiency of the drug is achieved by acquiring new therapeutic properties and characteristics of the formed ointment product obtained by mixing in a given ratio of components. The claimed ratio provides deep penetration of the active composition into the subcutaneous layer. The new composition of the ointment has a stronger effect on the affected area of the body of the antiseptic, anesthetic and anti-inflammatory drugs that make up its composition.
The invention is illustrated by the following examples.
