Abstract
Description
The application of the known invention relates to agriculture and can be used for pre-sowing treatment of plant seeds both in closed and open ground in order to increase crop yields.
A known method of light pulse stimulation of plants: Shakhov A.A. Light pulse stimulation of plants. - M .: Nauka, 1971. - 368 p., According to which seeds or plants are irradiated with pulsating solar radiation generated mechanically. Using this method, a stimulating effect was achieved, but the installation was extremely complicated, dependent on weather conditions, seeds and plants overheated, which reduced the effectiveness of the effect, the whole procedure took a considerable time, and the cultivated area was too small.
It is known the use of xenon lamps of continuous combustion in a pulsed mode for irradiating seedlings of cucumbers (see Wasserman A.L. Xenon tube lamps and their application. - M .: Energoatomizdat, 1989. - 88 p.) With a frequency of 100 Hz. However, under this mode, plants can overheat, although the average irradiation is very low - 0.01 W / cm 2 , and the installation itself is cumbersome and ineffective.
In the paper “Justification of the parameters and modes of an electro-optical converter for pre-sowing treatment of wheat seeds” (thesis by Ponamareva NN, 2006, Zernograd), an attempt was made to optimize some light parameters of irradiation of plant seeds when using a DKsT 10000 xenon lamp (continuous burning) in “quasi-continuous mode” ”, A DRT-1000 mercury lamp (also continuous burning) and 6 LE-30 lamps (erythema continuous burning lamps), some“ rational ”(for used lamps) spectral lines (wave ) in the range of 302-365 nm, i.e. in the ultraviolet (UV) wavelength range (moreover, the range from 200 nm to 302 nm is not estimated for a DKst-10000 lamp, although it is known that radiation from this range destructively affects biomolecules). Installation with a lamp DKsT-10000 is very complicated, bulky, requires cooling. Lamps DRT-have a linear spectrum in a limited range, as well as lamps LE-30, which significantly reduces the effectiveness of the impact.
A known method of non-invasive polychromatic light pulsed therapy (application No. 2012143197/14 dated 09.10.2012, a positive decision on the grant of a patent), which consists in irradiating with light pulses lasting in the range from 5 × 10 -3 to 10 -10 s, in a particular case - in the ultraviolet range of 305-405 nm, while simultaneously irradiating in the red and infrared ranges of the spectrum, the ratio of the values of irradiation in the above three parts of the spectrum is in fractions of 97: 1.5: 1.5. In the particular case, the repetition rate of the radiation pulses is set to not more than 1 Hz. In another particular case, irradiation is carried out with the possibility of changing the radiation intensity from 1 to 100 W / cm 2 . In the following particular case, irradiation is carried out in the spectral wavelength range of high-altitude solar radiation Δλ-300-1500 nm (only claims from the method used are given that are applicable for the new purpose). The method is used successfully in healthcare for the treatment of a number of diseases. However, this method has several advantages and advantages compared with the known methods of presowing light pulsed irradiation of plant seeds: efficiency (low time consumption), continuous spectral composition of radiation (including in the UV region of the spectrum), affordable ability to control this composition, simplicity , cheapness, the possibility of irradiation of significant areas, i.e. high productivity in the long term, the absence of the need for cooling, and at the same time high efficiency of exposure to the irradiated object.
The purpose of the proposed method is the application of the known invention but for a new purpose: for presowing treatment of seeds of agricultural plants, which increases their productivity.
This goal is achieved by the application of the method of non-invasive light pulsed therapy for pre-sowing treatment of seeds of agricultural plants, which consists in irradiating seeds with pulses of light lasting from 5 × 10 -3 to 10 -10 s, in the particular case in the ultraviolet wavelength range of 305-405 nm, this is simultaneously carried out irradiation in the red and infrared ranges of the spectrum, and the ratio of irradiation in these three parts of the spectrum is in fractions of 97: 1.5: 1.5. In the particular case, the repetition rate of the radiation pulses is set to not more than 1 Hz. In another particular case, irradiation is carried out with the possibility of changing the radiation intensity from 1 to 100 W / cm 2 . In the following particular case, irradiation is carried out in the spectral wavelength range of high altitude solar radiation 300-1500 nm.
The proposed method is as follows. A container (substrate, tray, etc.) with seeds evenly spaced in it is installed horizontally (perpendicular to the axis of the radiation flux from the emitter of the irradiating apparatus using a xenon flash lamp as a radiation source), after which a seed irradiation session is performed during exposure and other parameters irradiation defined for a given plant species.
At the end of the seed treatment session, they (as is known from the practice of pre-sowing UV treatment) should either be removed to a dark place (without access to light), or immediately sent for planting (if other necessary agricultural measures have been taken).
21,4%.Studies of the practical application of the described method for pre-sowing seed treatment of cucumbers (early varieties) in industrial greenhouses were conducted: 200 seeds were irradiated and immediately planted in the soil of the greenhouse. At the same time 200 control seeds of the same variety were planted nearby. The yield was controlled from 1 m 2 . Results: starting from the time of fruiting, the experimental plants showed an increase in yield compared with the control by an average of 21.4%.
Thus, the application of the known method of therapy for a new purpose in agriculture can provide a significant economic effect. This, in particular, will serve to solve the urgent problem of import substitution of agricultural products today. In addition, a new application of the known method by the population in their garden (cottage) plots will provide additional income to the family.
