Abstract

FIELD: furniture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to units intended for attachment of a furniture item on a wall, and aims at increasing accuracy of attachment. Positioning and supporting unit is intended for mounting a furniture item on a wall, extending in a cantilever manner from said wall, and comprises plates designed for attachment to said wall by means of first fasteners, and devices fixed inside ends of said furniture item and intended for connection with help of hooks to openings of said plates, wherein said inter-axial distance A between openings of said plates is substantially equal to inter-axial distance A′ between said hooks. According to invention, positioning and supporting unit comprise a combination of said plates with a bar intended for positioning plates thereon and configured to be attached to wall by second fasteners, wherein plates and bar also comprise third means for mutual connection and alignment, which provides essentially equality of said inter-axial distance A and A′ during mounting of furniture item.

Description

This invention relates to an improved positioning and supporting unit, designed for quick installation on the wall of a piece of furniture, console passing from the specified wall.

The invention also relates to a method of using said assembly.

The proposed site is preferably, but not necessarily, used for cantilever mounting on the wall of a block of a piece of furniture using the so-called visible type holders for blocks.

Visible block holders are well known to those skilled in the art and, in short, comprise a device that is mounted inside the end of the block. A hook passes from the specified device, which is made with the possibility of connection, for example, with the opening of the plate attached to the wall.

The position of the hook can be adjusted in height (vertical) and depth (horizontal) to ensure that the position of the block is fixed on the wall and in relation to other adjacent blocks.

A holder of this type is described, for example, in European Patent Application No. 2303068, to which reference should be made if further explanation is necessary and which should be considered as an integral part of this application.

An example of a general configuration of a possible used plate with the indicated holders for blocks is described, for example, in Italian patent applications MI2010A001674 dated September 15, 2010 and MI2011A000590 dated April 11, 2011, to which reference should be made and which should be considered an integral part of this application .

Easy, quick and safe installation of furniture blocks using the aforementioned block holders means fastening the plates to the wall in a proper position, especially with a mutual center distance substantially equal to the center distance between the hooks of the block holders.

Even small errors in positioning essentially make it impossible to mount the piece of furniture, which requires re-positioning of the plates on the wall with a significant loss of time and, therefore, with significant additional costs.

This disadvantage mainly arises when it is necessary to mount various adjacent blocks and when even small differences in the values of the interaxal distances of the plates are accumulated, which makes it practically impossible to install all the blocks without adjusting the position of the plates attached to the wall.

For the above reasons, attaching the plates to the wall is an extremely delicate operation that requires the intervention of assembly specialists.

The purpose of the invention is to overcome the aforementioned drawback of the prior art by creating a positioning and supporting assembly in which the plates are attached to the wall automatically at a mutual center distance absolutely equal to the center distance between the hooks of the block holders fixed inside the block end.

The above goal is achieved using a node having the features set forth in paragraph 1 and the dependent paragraphs of the attached claims, and using the method of application of the specified node, as claimed in claims 6-8.

The structural and functional features of the invention and its advantages relative to the prior art can be well understood from the following description, made with reference to the accompanying drawings, which depict examples of embodiments of the present invention and in which:

Fig.13 is a fragment illustrating a possible method of attaching the proposed site to the wall.

The proposed site is generally indicated in the drawings by the letter G.

7-10 depict a piece of furniture M (for example, a block), which should be cantilever hooked to a row of plates 20B attached to wall P (FIG. 10).

The specified connection is carried out using the appropriate series of holders 21B for blocks, each of which is fixed inside the end 22B of the item M of furniture.

For this, the holders 21B comprise a protruding hook 23B which is connected to the recessed opening 24B of the corresponding plate 20B.

As noted above, the holders 21B and the plates 20B in their general configuration can be, for example, of the type that is widely described and depicted in the above patent applications, which should be referenced in any further explanation.

As is clearly seen from Figs. 10-12, and as is well known to those skilled in the art, the center distance A between the openings 24B of the plates 20 B and the center distance A 'between the hooks 23B must be the same to allow for the attachment of a piece of furniture (block) ) to the plates 20V. Only if this condition is fulfilled, hooks 23B can be attached to the corresponding opening 24B without the need for complex interventions to reposition the plates 20B on wall P.

Node G in accordance with the invention provides quick and automatic satisfaction of this requirement.

In accordance with Figs. 1-6, the proposed assembly is generally designated by the letter G and is structurally made of a characteristic combination of a bar or drawn wire 25B (made, for example, of metal or plastic material) and plates 20B.

The strap 25B and the plates 20B are adapted to be attached to the wall P with the aid of the respective fastening means 27B and 30B.

Below, the fastening means 27B are also called the first fastening means, while the fastening means 30B are also called the second fastening means.

The strip 25B has openings 26B for securing the fasteners 27B (third fastening means) for fastening said strip 25B to the wall P.

In accordance with the invention, between the plank 25B and the plate 20B, third interconnecting means are also provided in the form of corresponding pairs of correlation or mutual centering means 32B, 33B.

More specifically, these pairs of correlation or mutual centering means comprise a pair of holes 32B made in the strip 25B, and a pair of deep-drawn bushings 33B (with an expanded inlet) made in the plate 20B.

These pairs of bushings 33B are precisely inserted into the corresponding pairs of holes 32B.

The function of these pairs of correlation and centering means 32B, 33B also consists in ensuring the relative position of the plates 20B at the required center distance without the need to attach these plates 20B to the bar 25B.

As is clearly shown and explained in FIGS. 11 and 12, the distances B and D between the components of each plate 20B enable quick and automatic connection of the hooks 23B of the holders 21B with the openings 24B of the respective plates 20B at the time of installation of the furniture piece M to the wall.

More specifically, in accordance with the invention, the following conditions are met: A = A ', where A = B + D + D = B + 2D. In this case, A represents the center distance between the openings 24B of the plates 20B, and A 'is the center distance between the hooks 23B of the two holders 21B attached to the opposite ends 22B of the furniture item M (Figs. 11 and 12).

The node G according to the invention is used in accordance with the operating steps illustrated in FIGS. 7-10.

More specifically, the strip 25B is attached to the wall P at a predetermined height and precisely aligned (Fig. 7).

Then, pairs of plates 20B, the number of which corresponds to the number of mounted blocks M (Fig. 8), are properly placed on the strip 25B using pairs of holes 32B and supporting (centering) bushings 33B, after which these plates 20B are firmly attached directly to wall P (Fig. .9) using fasteners 30B without the need for their preliminary attachment to the strip 25B.

In addition, if necessary, additional fasteners 35B can be inserted through the expanded inlet of the bushings 33B to fasten said assembly to the wall (fourth fastening means).

At this stage, the furniture block M can be cantilever mounted on the wall P by inserting the hooks 23B of the block holders 21B into the corresponding openings 24B of the plates 20B and their connections with them, while these openings 24B are automatically in the desired position (Fig. 10) as described above reasons.

Thus, the goal indicated in the introductory part of the description is achieved.

The scope of legal protection of an invention is determined by the attached claims.

Claims (8)

1. A positioning and supporting unit designed for mounting on a wall (P) of a piece of furniture (M) cantilever passing from a specified wall (P), and containing plates (20B) designed to be attached to the specified wall (P) using the first fasteners means (30B), and devices (21B), fixed inside the ends (22B) of the indicated item (M) of furniture and intended to be connected with hooks (23B) to the openings (24B) of these plates (20B), with the center distance A between the openings (24V) of these plates (20V) are essentially equal to the center distance the distance A ′ between said hooks (23B), characterized in that it comprises a combination of said plates (20B) with a strip (25B) designed to position the plates (20B) on it and configured to be attached to the wall (P) using second fastening means (27B), while said plates (20B) and strip (25B) also contain third means (32B, 33B) for interconnection and centering, which ensures essentially the equality of the indicated center distances A and A ′ during installation of the item (M ) furniture. 2. The assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that said third means (32B, 33B) contain holes (32B) made in the bar and deep drawn bushings (33B) made in the plate (20B). 3. The assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that said second fastening means comprises fasteners (27B) passing through holes (26B) in the bar (25B). 4. The node according to claim 1, characterized in that it contains the fourth fastening means (35V) passing through these bushings (33B). 5. The node according to claim 1, characterized in that the specified center distance A is equal to B + 2D, where B is the distance between the specified means (32B, 33B), and D is the distance between the specified means (32B, 33B) and the openings (24V ) 6. The method of application of the node (G) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that it includes the following steps:
a) attaching the strap (25B) to the wall (P) at a given height and ensuring alignment,
b) the location of the pairs of plates (20V), the number of which corresponds to the number of mounted blocks, on the bar (25V) using pairs of means (32V, 33B) for mutual connection and centering,
c) attaching the plates (20B) directly to the wall (P) without first having to attach them to the strip (25B); and
d) cantilever installation of the unit of the item (M) of furniture on the wall (P) by introducing hooks (23B) of the indicated devices (21B) into the corresponding openings (24B) of the plates (20B) and their connection with them. 7. The method according to claim 6, characterized in that the plates (20B) are attached to the wall (P) using fasteners (30B). 8. The method according to claim 6, characterized in that the plates (20B) are attached to the wall (P) using these fourth fastening means (35B).
