Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of demagnetization of ships, in particular vessels with a ferromagnetic hull. It can also be used for electromagnetic processing of elongated large-sized ferromagnetic engineering objects: shafts, turbines and other equipment.
A known method of electromagnetic processing of a floating ferromagnetic object, involving the use of a demagnetization system with an annular working winding, creating pulses of alternating magnetic field (see RF patent for the invention No. 2185305, 2000). In the process of demagnetization by means of a cable and a winch, a floating ferromagnetic object is moved through the working winding, while the distance of movement of the object is several of its lengths. This technical solution is suitable for the demagnetization of marine vessels, however, due to the need to forcibly move the vessel to a considerable distance, its use is laborious and requires the use of expensive equipment.
A more acceptable method for electromagnetic processing of a ship is known, adopted as a prototype and based on the creation of a decreasing stepwise alternating low-frequency field in a ship using a coil. This is achieved by changing the polarity of the voltage supplying the coil, and, consequently, the magnitude of the current in the coil (see USSR author's certificate No. 1374293, 1988). Currently, this method is most widely used in the practice of demagnetization of ships. To implement the method requires a coil covering the hull of the vessel and having a winding length of not less than the length of the vessel. Often, coil turns are wound directly onto the ship’s hull in increments of about one meter, which, given the low level of mechanization of work, the significant size of the ship, the need to use a cable with a large cross section, is extremely laborious. The use of a stationary working winding on a rigid frame leads to a multiple increase in the cost of the technological equipment required to demagnetize ships.
The present invention is to reduce the complexity of the work of demagnetization of ships with a ferromagnetic hull and the cost of technological equipment that provides the process of demagnetization.
The fulfillment of this task is achieved by the fact that in a method of demagnetizing a vessel with a ferromagnetic hull, based on the electromagnetic treatment of the hull in the compensated magnetic field of the Earth by means of an alternating magnetic field created by the working winding when moving it along the longitudinal axis of the ship or the whole ship through the working winding, moving the ship or the working winding is carried out at a distance not exceeding the length of the vessel, while before starting the movement, the intensity of alternating magnetic of the field gradually increase from zero to maximum intensity, during the movement the intensity of the alternating magnetic field is kept maximum and unchanged, and after the completion of the movement of the vessel or the working winding, the intensity of the alternating magnetic field is gradually reduced to zero intensity. At the same time, during the electromagnetic processing time, the Earth's magnetic field is compensated in a volume the size of which exceeds the main dimensions of the vessel, and an alternating magnetic field is created during the movement of the vessel or the working winding, the size of which in the direction of movement does not exceed half the length of the vessel's hull.
При использовании заявляемого способа такой режим позволяет значительно уменьшить трудоемкость работ по размагничиванию судна с ферромагнитным корпусом и стоимость технологического оборудования (в частности, размагничивающей катушки).The proposed regime for changing the intensity of the alternating magnetic field generated by the working winding when moving it or the ship at a distance equal to the length of the ship provides a consistent demagnetizing effect on all sections of the ship's hull using a relatively short winding, the length of which does not exceed half the length of the ship's hull, which is essential less than the length of the coil winding (not less than the length of the vessel) required to demagnetize the vessel in the case of using the prototype. When using the proposed method, this mode can significantly reduce the complexity of the work of demagnetization of a vessel with a ferromagnetic hull and the cost of technological equipment (in particular, a demagnetizing coil).
The practical use of the proposed method involves the demagnetization of the vessel in the compensated magnetic field of the Earth. At the same time, at each time of electromagnetic processing, the compensation of the Earth’s magnetic field must be carried out in the region where the intensity of the processing alternating magnetic field in which has a noticeable effect on the residual magnetization of the vessel. As shown performed during the development of the proposed method of research, compensation of the Earth's magnetic field in the process of electromagnetic processing of the vessel, it is advisable to carry out in a volume exceeding the basic dimensions of the vessel. In relation to the use case of the proposed method, involving the movement of the working winding relative to a stationary vessel, this means that the entire hull of the vessel must be inside the device compensating the Earth's magnetic field. For the variant in which the vessel moves relative to a fixed current circuit, the entire hull of the vessel is inside the device compensating the Earth's magnetic field only in the middle of the electromagnetic processing of the vessel
The invention is illustrated in the figure for a variant involving the movement of the working winding (current circuit) relative to a stationary vessel. The figure schematically shows a system explaining the implementation of the proposed method, including a vessel with a
Electromagnetic processing of a vessel with a ferromagnetic hull of the proposed method is as follows.
Before electromagnetic processing, the
In the process of electromagnetic processing, a sequential demagnetizing effect is applied to all parts of the ship's hull. Moreover, due to the fact that the size of the compensating device exceeds the basic dimensions of the vessel, the Earth’s magnetic field is simultaneously compensated in all parts of the ship’s ferromagnetic hull, where the intensity of the alternating magnetic field is sufficient to change the magnetic state of the hull material. As a result of the described operations, the total magnetization of the ferromagnetic hull of the vessel decreases.
50%.The relative decrease in the complexity of the work and the cost of technological equipment when using the proposed method approximately corresponds to the ratio of the weight and size parameters of the demagnetizing coils necessary for using the proposed and known methods, and is estimated at about 50%.
