Abstract
Description
The invention relates to electrical engineering, and in particular to gas-cooled electric machines of a self-driving rotor.
Указанная конструкция представлена в докладе на сессии CIGRE 2000 «Туре-tested air-cooled turbo-generator in the 500 MVA range» авторов RJoho, T. Hinkel, J. Baumgartner, C.E. Stephan (Alstom). A known rotor cooling system in which a rotating guide apparatus is installed in the inlet section of the rotor. This design is presented in a report at the CIGRE 2000 session "Toure-tested air-cooled turbo-generator in the 500 MVA range" by RJoho, T. Hinkel, J. Baumgartner, C.E. Stephan (Alstom). In this design, the rotating guide vane is designed to evenly distribute the flow of cooling gas over the grooves of the rotor and increase the gas flow through the rotor.
The analysis of the generalized experimental data on the purge of blade vanes shows that for the effective operation of the rotating guide vane under consideration, the angle of the gas flow before entering the rotating guide vane should be at least 40-45 °. When used in practice, the design principles of turbine generators prescribing the choice of flow cross sections to ensure the recommended level of speeds at the rotor inlet, in real rotor designs, this angle is usually 25-30 °, which leads to a decrease in the efficiency of a rotating guide apparatus installed in the rotor inlet section, and an increase in mechanical losses spent on the cooling gas circulation in the winding channels.
Наиболее близкой является конструкция, описанная в изобретении «Dynamoelectric machine with rotor ventilation system including prewhirl inlet guide vanes» (Патент US №4547688, H02K 9/00, опубл. 15.10.1085 г.). The closest is the design described in the invention "Dynamoelectric machine with rotor ventilation system including prewhirl inlet guide vanes" (US Patent No. 4547688, H02K 9/00, publ. 10/15/1085). In this design, an electric machine with a fixed guide apparatus in the rotor ventilation system contains a stator, a rotor installed in the stator with a gap and having radial channels in the winding with inputs and outputs placed at different radii of rotation. The entrances to the radial channels communicate through sub-groove channels with a channel supplying cooling gas to the rotor, and the outputs with an air gap between the stator and the rotor. The movement of the cooling gas in the radial channels of the self-driving rotor occurs due to centrifugal pressure due to different radii of rotation at the entrance to and exit from the radial channels. In the channel formed between the fixed walls and supplying cooling gas to the rotor, before turning the channel from the radial direction to the axial, a fixed blade guide device is installed, which occupies the entire space between the walls. To swirl the cooling gas in the direction of rotation of the rotor, the blades of the stationary guide vane are fixed at an angle in the direction of rotation of the rotor and have an aerodynamic profile with smoothly curved surfaces.
The design claimed in US patent No. 4547688, allows for uniform distribution of the cooling gas along the channels of the rotor, but there is a decrease in gas flow through the rotor and an increase in the temperature of the rotor winding. In this design, the reduction in mechanical losses spent on the gas circulation in the rotor is obtained at the cost of reducing the cooling efficiency of the winding.
The technical result, to which the proposed technical solution is directed, is to reduce the mechanical losses spent on the cooling gas circulation in the rotor channels, to ensure uniform distribution of the cooling gas through the rotor channels and effective cooling of its winding.
The specified technical result is achieved due to the fact that the electric machine contains a stator having a winding, a rotor installed in the stator with a gap and having radial channels for cooling in the winding. Radial channels are connected to sub-groove channels and the gap. The rotating guide vane is located in the axial channel formed by the inner surface of the centering ring, the inner cylindrical surface of the element separating the axial channel from the area of the frontal parts of the winding, and the surface of the rotor shaft. The axial channel communicates with sub-groove channels and the supply channel. The supply channel is formed by fixed radial walls, between which a fixed guide apparatus is installed for swirling the gas flow in the direction of rotation of the rotor.
The fixed guide vane consists of blades fixed around the circumference between two annular elements, the input edges of the blades being fixed to the outer diameter of the ring elements, and the output edges of the blades being fixed to the inner diameter of the ring elements offset from the input edge in the direction of rotation of the rotor.
For additional regulation of gas flow in the cooling circuit of the rotor, it is advisable to make the blades of a stationary guide vane with the possibility of rotation. When reducing the power of an electric machine or the temperature of the cooling gas during operation due to a change in the angle of inclination of the blades, it is possible to reduce the gas flow rate and reduce the power consumption for circulating cooling gas in the rotor.
The vanes of the stationary guide vane provide preliminary twisting of the cooling gas flow in the direction of rotation of the rotor. Due to this, at the entrance to the rotating guide vane, an approximate equality of the flow and peripheral velocities of the gas can be achieved. The rotating guide vane is placed after the stationary guide vane in the axial channel, which is separated from the stator cooling system in the area of the frontal parts of the winding using a cylindrical element. A rotating guide vane ensures the final swirling of the flow to the peripheral speed of the rotor.
Thus, by reducing the static gas pressure in the stationary guide vane, in combination with a subsequent increase in pressure in the rotating guide vane, it is possible to ensure the required gas flow through the rotor, uniform distribution of cooling gas over all grooves of the rotor and reduction of mechanical losses expended on gas circulation in the channels rotor.
The drawing shows a fragment of an electric machine with a fixed and rotating guide vanes in the cooling system of the rotor.
4.An electric gas-cooled machine, for example, a turbogenerator, contains a stator 1. A winding is laid in the stator core 1, the frontal parts 2 of which extend beyond the stator core 1. In the stator 1 with an air gap 3, a rotor 4 with a winding laid in the grooves is installed. In the winding of the rotor 4 there are made radial ventilation channels 5. The inputs to the radial channels 5 are in communication with the sub-groove channels 6, and the outputs of the radial channels 5 are connected with an air gap 3 between the stator 1 and the rotor 4.
Осевой канал 7 сообщается с подпазовыми каналами 6 (на чертеже не показано).The axial channel 7 is formed by the inner surface of the centering ring 8, the inner surface of the cylindrical element 9, and also the surface of the shaft 10 of the rotor 4. The cylindrical element 9 separates the axial channel 7 from the stator cooling system in the area of the frontal parts 2 of the stator winding 1. The axial channel 7 communicates with sub-groove channels 6 (not shown in the drawing).
11.In the axial channel 7 is installed a rotating guide apparatus 11.
4.The axial channel 7 communicates with the inlet channel 12, which is formed by fixed radial walls 13 and 14 and leads the cooling gas into the rotor 4.
Between the stationary radial walls 13 and 14 in the inlet channel 12, a stationary guide apparatus 15 is mounted. The guide apparatus 15 consists of blades 16, shown in A-A view. To ensure twisting of the flow of cooling gas coming from the supply channel 12, in the direction of rotation of the rotor 4, the blades 16 are placed around the circumference between the two ring elements and are fixed on them. Moreover, the input edges of the blades are radially fixed on the outer diameter 17 of each of the ring elements, and the output edges are fixed on the inner diameter 18 of each of the ring elements with the offset of each output edge from the input edge in the direction of rotation of the rotor.
4.The blades 16 can be made with the possibility of rotation. In this case, by changing the angle of installation of the blades 16, it becomes possible to control the gas flow in the cooling system of the rotor 4.
The blades 16 have an aerodynamic profile with smoothly curved surfaces between the inlet and outlet edges, and the inlet and outlet edges are smoothly rounded.
The rotating guide apparatus 11 can be milled directly on the shaft 10 of the rotor 4 in the form of blades with an aerodynamic profile, or slots, or grooves of a simple technological form.
4.In addition, the rotating guide apparatus 11 can be made in the form of a nozzle placed on the shaft 10 of the rotor 4.
The nozzle part of the rotor can be made in the form of blades with an aerodynamic profile, or slots, or grooves of a simple technological form.
8.The rotating guide apparatus 11 can be made in the form of blades placed on the inner surface of the centering ring 8.
When the rotating guide apparatus 11 is in the form of blades, the output edges should be oriented in the axial direction, and the input edges should be directed towards the oncoming flow of cooling gas.
11.The cylindrical element 9 can be made in the form of a stationary cylindrical shell or a rotating hub, mounted on the blades (slots, grooves) of the rotating guide apparatus 11.
If necessary, a pressure element 19 (a centrifugal or axial fan) can be installed on the hub of the shaft 10 of the rotor 4, which circulates the cooling gas in an electric machine.
4.When the electric machine is operating, the cooling gas is directed to the inlet channel 12, passes through the stationary guide apparatus 15, in which, due to the installation of the blades 16, it is pre-twisted in the direction of rotation of the rotor 4. The pre-twisted cooling gas is sent to the axial channel 7 and then to the rotating guide apparatus 11, which spins the cooling gas to the peripheral speed of the rotor. Next, the cooling gas is directed to the rotor 4, into the sub-groove channels 6. From the sub-groove channels 6, the cooling gas enters the inputs of the radial channels 5 of the rotor 4 and from the outputs of the radial channels 5 into the air gap 3 between the stator 1 and the rotor 4.
As a result of the implementation of the proposed technical solution, a uniform distribution of cooling gas over the rotor channels is ensured, effective cooling of the rotor winding, reduction of mechanical losses spent on cooling gas circulation in the rotor channels, and increased efficiency of the electric machine, including in operating modes with reduced load and with low temperatures of the cooling gas in the winter season.
