Abstract
Description
The invention relates to mineral processing and can be used to extract finely dispersed gold from clay deposits.
[1].A new process for the extraction of gold is known, based on a change in the surface-active layer of gold particles by hydrocarbons. The hydrophobic surface of the gold particles is coated with an oil film. Such olefin particles are agglomerated into larger aggregates that are recovered by flotation or classification. The agglomerated product is fired, and the ash obtained as a result of firing is smelted [1].
The disadvantage of this method is the multi-stage process of extraction, the need to destroy agglomerates by firing.
[2].A known method for the separation of finely dispersed metals from mineral products, which consists in the fact that the extraction of gold is carried out by preparing an aqueous suspension of gold-containing material, treating it with iodine in an amount of 300 g / t at a pH of 8-11 medium to obtain a phase containing an enlarged metal, and separating it from suspension [2].
The disadvantage of this method is the low efficiency of gold recovery.
[3].The closest in technical essence to the proposed solution is a method for extracting gold from industrial silt sediments, including preparing a dry mixture from silt sediments with the addition of bleach, preparing a suspension by adding a solution of sulfuric acid to the mixture, and subsequent sorption of gold by a plant-type sorbent. Preparation of the dry mixture is carried out by mixing sludge in the form of fractions with a particle size of less than 0.05 mm with bleach in a ratio of 100: 5. The suspension is prepared by adding to a dry mixture a 10% solution of sulfuric acid in an amount of 250 ml and stirring in a mixing device for four hours. Then sorption is carried out by introducing into the resulting suspension a plant-type sorbent, crushed to a particle size in the range of less than 0.5 and more than 0.2 mm after heat treatment at 200 ° C for one hour, and additional stirring for 20 minutes. After sorption, the mixture is washed with water on a sieve with mesh sizes of less than 0.5 and more than 0.2 mm, drying and assay melting [3].
The disadvantages of this method include the need to create conditions for the dissolution of gold and sorption, which increases the multi-stage process of extraction and reduces its environmental safety.
The technical result of the invention is to increase the extraction of the finely dispersed phase of gold from clay deposits in an effective and environmentally friendly way.
The technical result is achieved in that in a method for extracting finely dispersed gold from clay deposits, including preparing a suspension from clay deposits, trapping finely dispersed gold from a suspension by sorption by introducing a sorbent based on plant material, previously crushed to a particle size of 0.3 mm, into the suspension and mixing, s subsequent washing of the sorbent on a mesh with a mesh size of 0.3 mm, drying and assay melting, the suspension is prepared at a ratio of T: W as 1:25, the sorbent on again, the vegetable material after grinding is soaked to loose flakes, sorption is carried out by introducing the sorbent into the suspension, activated in the mixing device until smooth for 3-5 minutes, and then stirring in the mixing device for 30-40 seconds, after sorption, washing the loose flakes containing gold.
70%.The presence of significant features makes it possible to capture finely dispersed gold directly from a suspension with a sufficiently high percentage of extraction of finely dispersed gold - more than 70%.
The method is as follows.
