Abstract
Description
A device for searching and influencing biologically active points with alternating current refers to medical practice and is intended for determining biologically active points (BAP) on the skin surface of the body, for the therapeutic effect on these points with electric current.
In medical practice, the ELAP, ELETERIS 5 UM 003 and others [1] devices manufactured by the industry are used for electropuncture at the BAT, [1] operating both from an alternating current network and an autonomous source, which can be an analogue of the proposed device. These devices give direct current, pulses of various shapes, polarity and frequency, have a high cost, size and can not always be used in mass individual practice. In addition, it is not possible to determine what frequency and shape of the impulse it is necessary to use for a particular disease for the following reasons.
The human body is a very complex semiconductor, depending on the individual himself, time of day, season, weather conditions, type of disease, as well as BAP.
It is known [2], [3] that a nonsinusoidal oscillation can be represented by an infinite trigonometric Fourier series containing harmonic components: the higher the number of the component, the lower its amplitude. In this regard, it is not known which component and how it acts on the BAT. Using an alternating sinusoidal voltage of various frequencies, it is possible to more thoroughly judge the degree of influence of a particular frequency on the treatment process.
The use of direct current of different polarity requires a good understanding of which polarity of the current should be passed through the BAT for various patients, various diseases, time of day, season, etc. Alternating current automatically returns the BAT to its normal state, i.e. It has a healing effect, which is especially important for persons of low medical qualification.
To influence the BAP, it is possible to use for the new purpose both step-down transformers connected to the power grid, and measure the current flowing through the BAT, measure with a microammeter, and, even easier, turn on the microammeter in the power grid galvanically, through high resistances through which current will pass less 220 microamps, quite acceptable for influencing the BAT value, verified by many years of practice.
[4].The prototype of the proposed device can serve as a circuit widely used in electrical engineering [4].
The device consists of a
The method of using the device is similar to that indicated in the analogues. The patient takes in his hand or presses the
The proposed device has been used for 40 years without any repairs and electricity consumption (the amount of current consumed is not fixed by the meter), with an efficiency many times higher than acupuncture. The only drawback of the device (and method) is the maintenance of only one patient and the need to observe the indication of the device (by the way, receiving additional information about the patient).
Safety measures when working with the device - as well as for medical devices operating on 220 V AC: do not open the device without disconnecting it from the network.
