The use of the invention provides the following technical result: predicting a period of relapse-free survival in advanced cervical cancer.
60%.The specified technical result in the implementation of the invention is achieved by the fact that with advanced cervical cancer (cervical cancer) in a patient with advanced cervical cancer (stage IIb-IV according to FIGO), the activity of glutathione reductase in the tumor tissue is determined, and with the activity of glutathione reductase from 10.9 to 14 , 9 mmol / min / mg protein, the patient will have an 18-month period of relapse-free survival (PBV) with a probability of 18%, and with glutathione reductase activity of tumor tissue from 15.2 to 18.5 mmol / min / mg protein, with a probability of 60% .
The analysis of the prior art by the applicant, including the search by patents and scientific and technical sources of information and the identification of sources containing information about analogues of the claimed invention, allowed to establish that the applicant did not find an analogue characterized by features identical to all the essential features of the claimed invention. The definition from the list of identified analogues of the prototype, as the closest in the set of essential features of the analogue, allowed to identify the set of essential distinguishing features in relation to the applicant's technical result in the claimed method set forth in the claims.
Therefore, the claimed invention meets the condition of "novelty."
In a patient with advanced cervical cancer in the tumor tissue obtained as a result of a biopsy, glutathione reductase activity was determined (see Karpischenko A.I. Medical Laboratory Technologies and Diagnostics: Handbook in 2 volumes - St. Petersburg: Intermedia, 1999. - pp. 27-28 ) Glutathione reductase catalyzes the reduction of oxidized glutathione using NADPH as the reducing equivalent. The method is based on a change in the optical density of the reaction mixture during the formation of the oxidized form of NADP + . With glutathione reductase activity from 10.9 to 14.9 mmol / min / mg protein, 18-month period of relapse-free survival will be in 18% of patients, and with values of 15.2-18.5 mmol / min / mg protein - in 60% of patients .
Ki-67.As a result of studies in patients with advanced cervical cancer in the tumor tissue, the parameters of the “lipid peroxidation - antioxidants” system were determined and oncoproteins Bcl-2, EGF, p53 were detected in biopsy specimens using Dako mono- and polyclonal antibodies an indicator of proliferative activity Ki-67.
When analyzing the relationships between the period of disease-free survival and the studied parameters in patients with advanced cervical cancer, the prognostic significance of the levels of glutathione reductase in the tumor tissue was established.
Based on the proposed algorithm, 50 primary cervical cancer patients (IIb-IV stages according to FIGO) who were registered in the Regional Clinical Oncology Center (Ulyanovsk) in 2009 were examined. Glutathione reductase levels in 30 patients ranged from 15.2 to 18.5 mmol / min / mg. Of these, a relapse-free period of an average of 18.3 months occurred in 22 patients.
