SUBSTANCE: iconostasis is made as a shelf with elements of fastening it to a wall to place religious objects on it. The shelf is equipped with a recess and a light source. It is additionally provided with several bearing shelves parallel to the base and made with the ability to replace it on the vertical axis. The side walls of the iconostasis, located at 45 degrees to the rear wall, comprise two vertical planes-holders provided with the slots in the form of a "swallow tail" and serving to fix the shaped protrusions of shelves in them. The iconostasis base is equipped with two shelves horizontally spaced and parallel to each other which form a bookcase with four bars equipped with movable fixtures serving for folding the planes and matching the shelves. In the center of the outer side of the upper shelf a handle is made. On the same shelf in the center of the side connecting it with the vertical part of the iconostasis a hole is made in which as a light source the holder with icon lamp or a candlestick with a candle is placed. The base of the iconostasis and the upper part of its rear wall are provided with decorative boards for decoration. The side walls are covered with decorative rotary valves serving to mask the elements of fastening the shelves.

The technical result consists in increasing the functionality of using the iconostasis for installing a different number of icons of different sizes by using support shelves with the possibility of rearranging them using curved protrusions at the ends in the same slots of two vertical holder plates located on the side walls of the iconostasis.

Achieving this result is ensured by the fact that the iconostasis is made in the form of a shelf with elements for fastening it to the wall for installing religious objects on it, while the shelf is equipped with a recess and a light source. The iconostasis is made with a horizontally located base, which serves to install the back and side walls, is additionally equipped with several supporting shelves parallel to the base. Supporting shelves are designed for mounting religious objects on them. The supporting shelves of the iconostasis are made with the possibility of rearrangement along the vertical axis. The iconostasis according to Figs. 1 and 2 contains a base 1 with rear 2 and side walls 3 installed on it. On the rear 2 and side walls 3, several support shelves 4 are installed. The iconostasis has three points of attachment to the wall. Two points are located at the top of the iconostasis (not shown in the drawing). The third mounting point 15 is located in the lower part of the iconostasis in the center from the inside of the back wall 2 behind the lamp holder 11.

The sub-lamp, in which the lamp is located, is itself, in turn, installed in hole 11 and is carved from wood.

Almost all the details of the iconostasis are made of wood, such as linden, pine, or plywood, as well as some fastening elements, such as bushings, can be made of hardwood (beech).

Proposed as an invention allows to expand the functionality of using the iconostasis for installing a different number of icons of different sizes by using support shelves with the ability to rearrange them using curved protrusions at the ends in the same slots of two vertical holder plates located on the side walls of the iconostasis. In addition, the iconostasis is simple to manufacture, can be widely used in everyday life when individually performing religious and ritual rituals in home and other conditions.
