Abstract
Description
The invention relates to aircraft (LA) flying on ballistic and aeroballistic trajectories with a lift height of at least 20 km
20.03.2002.Known methods for detecting ground targets with ballistic and aeroballistic aircraft, for example, by conducting route aerial surveys - see RF patent No. 2213326, priority of 03.20.2002.
1983.There are also known methods of detecting land and sea targets by airborne aircraft-type radars with rigidly fixed long-length fuselage antennas operating in the viewing modes of the underlying surface, moving targets selection, highly detailed resolution using artificial (due to the movement of the aircraft) synthesis of the antenna aperture - see, for example , A.A. Komarov, G.S. Kondratenkov, N.N. Kurilov, A.A. Lavrov, V.N. Sablin, E.F. Tolstov, BCFedoseyev "Airborne reconnaissance radars." -M .: Military Publishing, 1983.
А.А. С. «Радиолокационные станции воздушной разведки», стр.28, 29, 144, 147 (рис.2.1.; 9.5.; 9.6.).As the closest analogue, a method has been adopted for detecting land and sea targets by an aircraft-type airborne radar with a long-range side-view antenna mechanically (rigidly) fixed in the fuselage - see A.A. Komarov, G.S. Kondratenkov and others. "Aerial reconnaissance radars ”, P. 28, 29, 144, 147 (Fig. 2.1; 9.5; 9.6.).
The disadvantages of the method - the closest analogue include the impossibility of location of the focal (for example, forward-lying) targets along the fuselage antenna of the aircraft, as well as the need to move the aircraft along a straight path to form a side-view radar image in the coordinates "oblique range - track range".
The aim of the invention is to provide a method for detecting ground and sea objects by an airborne radar with a rigidly fixed side view fuselage antenna that allows high-altitude ballistic and aeroballistic flight paths to locate ground and sea objects in both the front (rear) and side viewing angles.
This goal is achieved by the fact that on the ballistic sections of the flight path of the aircraft with a high-pressure head of the incoming air flow of not more than 100,000 N / m 2 (~ 1.0 kgf / cm 2 ), the radar antenna is aimed at the heading of the aircraft by turning its fuselage in a horizontal plane across the direction movements in such a way that the axis of the fuselage antenna radiation pattern is directed toward the zone of probable location of the target, and hold this position of the aircraft fuselage until the end of the location (full-format scanning) of the zone spruce or before detection and identification purposes, and then converted to the original aircraft flight position. When locating land and sea targets on the lateral and anterolateral angles, the target area is scanned in the side view mode, incl. using the synthesis of the aperture of the antenna, in the flight position of the fuselage, which ensures maximization of the aerodynamic quality of the aircraft. If there are no targets in the field of view, the course and / or roll of the aircraft is changed in such a way as to scan the adjacent zone of the probable location of the target. In this case, the aircraft’s course change is made by pulse switching on the marching propulsion system (for example, a rocket engine), in addition, the aircraft’s course and roll are changed by means of controls (for example, deviated aerodynamic rudders and / or gas-dynamic orientation engines).
The operation scheme of the aircraft according to the invention is shown in figures 1, 2, 3. Accepted notation:
1 - the fuselage (bearing body) of the aircraft,

10 - oblique range to the far boundary of the radar sight zone.
3.When flying an aircraft (see Fig. 1) along a ballistic (aeroballistic) trajectory for the purpose of radar reconnaissance (additional reconnaissance) of land and sea targets, including to correct its own flight path, the following operations can be implemented. To locate directional (for example, forward-facing) targets with the best possible angular azimuthal resolution, the working horizontal opening of the aircraft’s onboard antenna is maximized by turning the fuselage 1 of the aircraft across the flight direction so that the side
The pressure head q is determined by the formula
, ,
где ρ - плотность воздуха на высоте движения летательного аппарата, кг/м3;where ρ is the air density at the height of the aircraft, kg / m 3 ;
V is the flight speed of the aircraft, m / s.
It is rational to carry out a 1 aircraft fuselage turn across the flight direction in the local horizontal plane - while minimizing the required supply of onboard resources for performing the specified maneuver.
Inclined ranges to the near 9 and far 10 boundaries of the radar sighting zone are determined, respectively, by the allowable deterioration in the resolution of the airborne radar and aircraft targets. Possibilities for expanding the target search zone (viewing several zones of probable location of target 8) are limited by the available on-board resources of the aircraft for control and stabilization. In this case, after the detection and identification of the target (or exhaustion of resources for control and stabilization) - the aircraft is transferred to its original flight position.
Highly detailed location of land and sea targets on the lateral and anterolateral angles (from one or both sides of the flight path of the aircraft) is carried out before or after the maneuver of the fuselage 1 to the positioning course positioning - in side view mode, incl. with synthesizing the aperture of the antenna (see figure 3). At the same time, they realize and maintain such a flight position of the fuselage 1 that maximizes the aerodynamic quality of the aircraft (including at supersonic and hypersonic speeds of its movement), for example, by maintaining the most favorable angle of attack. This condition, as well as the fundamentally curvilinear nature of
In the absence of targets in the field of view - change (for example, gas-
When implementing the proposed method, the aircraft’s onboard radar can operate both in side-view mode (including synthesizing an aperture of the antenna) for highly detailed reconnaissance of land and sea targets, and additional reconnaissance of targets in front or rear view mode (including with Doppler beam framing). At the same time, course location zones are located in the surface area that is not visible during lateral viewing, which allows in some cases to implement a no-miss mode of target reconnaissance.
Application of the proposed technical solution on promising ballistic (aeroballistic) aircraft, including moving at high supersonic and hypersonic speeds, equipped with "intelligent" control systems and airborne reconnaissance (reconnaissance) radars of targets with wide-aperture fuselage antennas that implement highly detailed all-weather round-the-clock location of ground and sea objects on the side, anterolateral and front angles, it will allow to give new high-precision opportunities reconnaissance and strike complexes of operational and strategic purpose and thereby solve a number of priority defense tasks of the first half of the XXI century.
