Abstract
Description
The invention relates to medical equipment, namely to pleoptic devices for the treatment of functional visual disorders associated with amblyopia of varying degrees.
A device for the treatment of amblyopia (Belarusian patent VU No. 6409, A61F 9/00 from 2001.10.22, publ. 2004.09.30) by color-impulse structured maculostimulation of the amblyopic eye is known. The device comprises a pulsed radiation generator of the visible part of the spectrum, an emitter, an LED, a direct current power source. The LED operates in the range of 550-660 nm with an intensity of 0.9-1.5 stilb. The device can be used to treat children from 2 years of age, which is a disadvantage.
The closest in technical essence is a device for the treatment of amblyopia (China Patent No. 1054377 from 1991/09/11 - prototype). According to the patent, the device is a kaleidoscope consisting of a tube with closed mirror plates, multi-colored elements of arbitrary shape and an LED emitting red with an adjustable intensity. The disadvantages of the prototype is the ability to stimulate only cones sensitive to the red part of the visible spectrum, which will inevitably lead to insufficient treatment of amblyopia, where simultaneous stimulation of red, blue, and green sensitive cones is required, as well as the impossibility of its differentiated use for patients with different visual acuity.
The objective of the invention is to develop a universal effective kaleidoscopic device that can be used to treat functional visual disorders associated with amblyopia of varying degrees in young children.
Также используют многоцветное светодиодное устройство, генерирующее изменяемые по времени световые импульсы различной длины волны (различного цвета).The essence of the inventive kaleidoscopic device is that in a kaleidoscope containing a tube, closed at one end with a lid with a hole for observation, and with the other frosted glass, three mirror plates located inside the tube along its length and fastened together at an angle of 60 ° to each other to a friend, use two replaceable blocks with elements of arbitrary shape, and with a visual acuity of ≥0.1, the size of the elements is 3-4 mm, and with a visual acuity of <0.1, the size of the elements is 6-7 mm. A multicolor LED device is also used that generates time-varying light pulses of different wavelengths (different colors).
Figures 1 and 2 show an example of the structural implementation of the inventive kaleidoscopic device.
(7).The kaleidoscope contains a tube (1), inside of which three mirror plates (2) are located along the length, fastened at a angle of 60 ° to each other. At one end, the tube is covered with frosted glass (5), and at the other end with a lid (3) with a round hole (4) for observation. A replaceable block of two transparent glasses (6), inside of which there are multi-colored translucent elements of arbitrary shape, is installed between the mirror plates and frosted glass. A LED device is placed in the space between the block of two transparent glasses and the frosted glass, which consists of a multi-color LED (8), a battery (9) and a switch (7).
The technical result obtained by using the proposed device:
- одновременное воздействие на ретино-кортикальные элементы с помощью паттерн- и цветостимуляции;- simultaneous effects on retino-cortical elements using pattern and color stimulation;
- повышение эффективности стимуляции за счет синергетического эффекта воздействий;- increasing the effectiveness of stimulation due to the synergistic effect of the effects;
- возможность лечения пациентов разного возраста (начиная с 6 месяцев) с различной остротой зрения при разных формах амблиопии независимо от характера фиксации;- the possibility of treating patients of different ages (starting from 6 months) with different visual acuity with different forms of amblyopia, regardless of the nature of fixation;
- используемый светодиод обеспечивает оптимальное время предъявления пациенту световых импульсов различной длины волны;- the LED used provides the optimal time for presentation to the patient of light pulses of various wavelengths;
- устройство безопасно при использовании, может использоваться как в медицинском учреждении, так и в домашних условиях.- the device is safe to use, can be used both in a medical institution and at home.
The device is used as follows. Visual acuity is determined in a patient. When the value of visual acuity is ≥0.1, an interchangeable unit with multi-colored elements of 3-4 mm in size is used; when the value of visual acuity <0.1, use a removable unit with multi-colored elements of 6-7 mm in size. One eye is closed with an occluder, and with the second eye the patient observes a change of images in the device for 15 minutes. When the tube rotates horizontally, the multi-colored elements roll over, forming colored figures in the triangular central portion of the field of view, bounded by three mirrors. The reflection of these figures in the mirror plates creates colored patterns with three-beam symmetry, repeated 3 more times along the edges of the field of view. At the same time, when the power is turned on, a projection onto the triangular central portion of the field of view of time-varying light pulses of different colors (different wavelengths) occurs. The course of treatment is 20 days, daily for 1-2 procedures for 15 minutes. Treatment can be done at a hospital or at home.
