Description

The present invention relates to a furniture hinge comprising a mounting plate on which a side element is provided, and a hinge element that is rotatably attached to the side element by means of a support arm and a guide lever, and a shock absorber is provided to absorb the movement of the hinge element relative to the side element.

DE 20115250 discloses a shock absorber for a furniture hinge mounted on a hinge element. In this case, the piston rod is pressed into the shock absorber body during the movement of the hinge element, and again moves to the extended position during the opening movement. Such a loop has a relatively large overall dimensions and a complex structure.

A furniture hinge is known from document EP 1555372 in which a hinge element is rotatably attached to a side element. For this, a support lever and a guide lever are provided. These levers in the form of a parallel lever rotate the hinge element mounted on a movable furniture element, such as a door. To cushion the movement, a linear shock absorber is provided on the side element, by means of a connecting link connected to a protrusion on the guide lever. Thus, cushioning occurs when the guide lever is rotated. This connection is rigid, while the possibility of compensating for tolerances, in particular when the door is aligned and the hinge element is adjusted relative to the side element or mounting plate, is limited. In addition, the connection by means of connecting links is relatively complicated and causes installation difficulties.

Thus, an object of the present invention is to provide a furniture hinge in which shock absorption of a hinge element is possible in combination with a simple structure.

This problem is solved due to the furniture hinge with the features of paragraph 1 of the claimed claims.

According to the invention, a contact surface is formed on the hinge element, the support arm or the guide lever, and for depreciation during the closing movement of the hinge element, the shock absorber body or piston rod is acted upon directly. Due to this, with a minimum number of parts, it is possible to ensure the functioning of the furniture hinge with cushioning of the closing movement. Moreover, such a construction is relatively easy to mount, since the piston rod or the shock absorber body is not connected to the connecting element connected to the hinge element. More precisely, the damping time is due to contact with the contact surface on the housing of the shock absorber or piston rod, and the initial moment of damping can also be provided by an adjustable design.

According to a preferred embodiment of the claimed invention, the contact surface is integral with the hinge element, support arm or guide lever. Moreover, as a whole, a protrusion forming a contact surface can be made. Preferably, this protrusion is made on the support arm.

The contact surface is preferably in contact with one end of the piston rod, where the shock absorber with the housing can be easily mounted on the sidewall or mounting plate. In this case, to compensate for any lateral movement of the contact surface, the piston rod can slide along the contact surface at certain boundaries.

According to a further embodiment of the invention, depreciation does not occur on the entire rotation path of the hinge element, and the contact surface is in contact with the piston rod or the damper body only when the hinge element is between the closed position and the opening angle from 10 ° to 40 °, preferably from 15 ° up to 30 °. This is due to the fact that, usually, depreciation should occur in the open position area, since it makes operation difficult. Sudden slamming should be prevented immediately before closing the furniture door. Therefore, it is sufficient that the shock absorber can act only in the final section in front of the closed position.

Preferably, the shock absorber is pre-tensioned by the spring in the extended position, therefore, when the hinge element is opened, the shock absorber automatically moves to the extended position.

The shock absorber housing is preferably fixed to the side element or mounting plate. The housing can also be adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the hinge element so that damping points can be set.

Below the invention is disclosed in detail with reference to the implementation option presented in the accompanying drawings, in which:

figure 1 presents a side view in section of a furniture loop according to the invention in the open position;

figure 2 presents a view of the furniture hinge according to figure 1 in the ajar position:

figure 3 presents a view of the furniture hinge according to figure 1 in the closed position.

The furniture hinge 1, made of metal or plastic, contains a mounting plate 2, which is attached to the furniture body and on which the side element 3 is fixed or adjustable. A cup-shaped hinge element 4 is rotatably attached to the side element 3. The hinge element 4 is inserted into the recess in the furniture door, providing the possibility of its rotation.

To this end, the hinge element 4 is connected to the side element by a support lever 5 and a guide lever 6, while the support lever 5 is connected to the side element by means of the axis 8 and to the hinge element 4 by the axis 7, and the guide lever 6 is connected to the hinge by means of the axis 9 element 4 and through the axis 10 with the side element 3.

To absorb the rotary movement of the hinge element 4, a shock absorber is provided comprising a housing 13 and a linearly moving piston rod 12. The shock absorber can be made as a shock absorber with a fluid or as a gas-filled shock absorber. On the housing 13 of the shock absorber, a spring 14 is provided, squeezing the rod 12 into the extended position. One end of the piston rod 12 can abut against the contact surface 15 provided on the protrusion 11, made as a whole with the support arm 5.

Figure 1 shows the hinge element 4 in a wide open position. Under the action of the force of the spring 14, the piston 12 is in the extended position.

In figure 2, the hinge element 4 is slightly rotated in an ajar position, for example, with an opening angle α of approximately 45 °. In this position, the protrusion 11 with the contact surface 15 is at some distance from the end of the rod 12, so the shock absorber is not yet involved.

Figure 3 shows the furniture hinge 1 in the closed position. When the hinge element 4 is rotated, the contact surface 15 presses the end of the piston rod 12 near the closed position, approximately at an angular distance from 10 ° to 40 °, preferably from 20 ° to 30 °, with the rod entering the shock absorber housing 13. Thus, the closing movement of the hinge element 4 is damped. The hinge element 4 is pre-tensioned by the spring to the closed position, the force of this spring being greater than the force of the spring 14 in the damper body 13.

In the depicted embodiment, the tip of the piston rod 12 abuts directly against the contact surface 15. Obviously, the piston rod 12 can be made with a slider. In addition, the contact surface 15 can also act on the housing 13 of the shock absorber. In this case, the rod 12 rests on the side element 3 or the mounting plate 2.

Claims (7)

1. A furniture hinge (1) comprising a mounting plate (2) on which a side element (3) and a hinge element (4) are made, which is rotatably mounted on the side element (3) by means of a support arm (5) and a guide arm ( 6), while to absorb the displacement of the hinge element (4) relative to the side element (3), a shock absorber (12, 13) is provided, characterized in that the shock absorber body (13) is fixed to the mounting plate (3), while the contact surface (15 ) on the support arm (5) acts directly on the piston c (12) for damping the closing movement when the hinge member (4).
2. Furniture hinge according to claim 1, characterized in that the contact surface (15) is integral with the hinge element (4), support arm (5) or guide lever (6).
3. Furniture hinge according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the contact surface (15) is made on the protrusion (11).
4. Furniture hinge according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the protrusion in the form of a shelf with a contact surface (15) is made as a unit with the support arm (5).
5. Furniture hinge according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the contact surface (15) is in contact with one end of the piston rod (12).
6. Furniture hinge according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the contact surface (15) is in contact with the piston rod (12) or the shock absorber body (13) only when the hinge element (4) is between the closed position and the angle openings from 10 ° to 40 °, preferably from 15 ° to 30 °.
7. Furniture hinge according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the shock absorber is pre-tensioned in the extended position by means of a spring (14).
