Abstract
Description
The invention relates to electric contact roller welding and can be used in the restoration and hardening of rotation parts, as well as in roller welding of spiral seams.
[1].A prototype of the invention is a roller electrode device comprising a roller electrode with a flat working surface [1].
The disadvantage of the prototype is the uneven distribution of current density over the contact surface: the electrode is the part and uneven wear on the working surface of the electrode, which is associated with the action of geometric and temperature factors.
The invention allows to obtain a new technical effect - improving the uniformity of the distribution of current density over the contact surface: electrode - part and reducing uneven wear of the working surface of the electrode.
This technical effect is achieved by the fact that the roller electrode is made of materials with different conductivity and hardness, while the conductivity of the materials decreases, and the hardness increases from the center to the edge.
Figure 1 shows a diagram of the distribution of current density over the contact surface: a homogeneous electrode-part.
Figure 2 shows a diagram of a device for a roller electrode.
The circuit diagram of the roller electrode for electric contact welding includes materials with different conductivities, while they are assembled in such a way that the conductivity decreases, and the hardness increases from the center to the edge.
As can be seen from figure 1, the distribution of current density over the contact surface when using a homogeneous electrode material is uneven. The current density increases from the axis to the boundaries of the contacts as a result of the spreading of current in the electrode and the part. For a more uniform distribution of current density, it is proposed to use a packet electrode assembled from materials with different conductivities. The more materials with different conductivities in the packet electrode, the more evenly the current density distribution over the contact surface will be. The use of electrodes with a spherical working surface also does not guarantee uniform distribution of current over the contact due to deformation of the electrode and the part. For more uniform wear of the electrode along the working surface, it is necessary that the materials making up the packet electrode have different hardness, and the hardness of the materials should increase from the center to the edge. To implement this stack electrode, pure copper can be used as the core material of the stack electrode, and alloys of copper with beryllium, cadmium or other bronzes can be used as materials with reduced electrical conductivity and increased hardness.
When using rod electrodes, cylindrical bushings with different conductivities can be used.
