Abstract
Description
д.).The claimed invention relates to holes with friction linings of a ring shape, rotating during operation and intended for use in various friction mechanisms (clutches, brake assemblies of machines and equipment, etc.).
An analogue of the claimed invention is a friction lining made of a polymer friction composite reinforced with threads, containing holes made by drilling the product (see VB Golkin. Production of asbestos friction products. M., "Chemistry", 1979, p. 91- 93). The essential features of the analogue "polymer friction composite reinforced with threads, holes" coincide with the essential features of the claimed invention.
The disadvantage of the analogue is the increased possibility of cracking in the area of the holes in the patch due to the large number of reinforcing threads and, accordingly, a small amount of polymer material. In this case, cracks are formed mainly in the direction of the threads, that is, in the case of a wound lining (for example, spirally or elliptically), cracks are mainly located between the rivet holes, which significantly reduces the strength and performance characteristics of the product.
The prototype of the claimed invention is a friction pad containing holes made for molding (for rivets) made of a polymer friction composite reinforced with threads (see RF patent No. 2085390, IPC 7 B29D 31/00, 1997). The essential features of the prototype "polymer friction composite reinforced with threads, holes" coincide with the essential features of the claimed invention.
The disadvantage of the prototype is the possibility of increased crack formation in the area of the holes in the patch due to the large number of reinforcing threads and a small amount of polymer material. As a result, the strength and performance characteristics of the product are reduced.
The problem to which the invention is directed, is to improve the strength and performance characteristics of the friction lining by reducing the possibility of cracking in the area of the holes.
To achieve the technical result in a hole-containing friction pad made of a polymer friction composite reinforced with threads, the polymer friction composite in the area of the holes contains a smaller number of reinforcing threads than in other parts of the pad.
The friction lining is a ring-shaped flat product containing holes for rivets made of a filled polymer composite, including, as a rule, a polymer matrix based on rubbers, latexes, resins, their mixtures, various fillers and a reinforcing thread (or several threads), which placed inside the composite and forms a reinforcing frame. Moreover, in the area of the holes, the composite contains fewer reinforcing threads than in the remaining parts of the lining.
The friction lining can be made by known methods, for example by winding it from a polymer-coated binder yarn, followed by molding and processing. In this case, the molding of products is carried out in a mold, one of the forming surfaces of which contains protrusions corresponding to the holes in the patch, and the opposite surface contains an annular recess in the area of the holes in the product. As a result, after molding, a lining blank is formed, one of the flat surfaces of which contains recesses corresponding to the holes, and the opposite lining surface contains an annular protrusion (in the recess zone). During molding, the protrusions in the mold displace the reinforcing thread into the annular recess, as a result of which part of the threads reinforcing the area of the lining holes is in the annular ledge of the lining blank. Next, the workpiece is subjected to mechanical processing, during which the annular protrusion from the surface of the lining is removed and the recesses are opened, forming holes in the product. As a result, the number of reinforcing yarns (reinforcing yarns) in the area of the holes is smaller than in the rest of the lining.
В накладке выполнены 16 отверстий под заклепки, из которых 8-ступенчатых («зенкованных»).A specific example of the claimed invention is a clutch plate, which is a flat ring with an outer diameter of ~ 190 mm and an inner ~ 130 mm, elliptically wound from combined asbestos-free, for example glass (based on glass roving), glass-wire or other threads coated with a polymer material based rubber resin binder with powdered fillers. The content of the reinforcing thread in the patch is 53-59%, while the content of the reinforcing thread in the area of the holes 47-51%. There are 16 rivet holes in the patch, of which 8 are stepped (“countersunk”).
A significant reduction in the number of threads in the areas of the holes allows, while maintaining the strength characteristics of the product as a whole, to reduce the possibility of cracking in the area of the holes and especially between the holes, since in this zone the product contains more filled polymer and fewer threads, that is, a more elastic and flexible material predominates in this zone , preventing the formation of arc cracks in the area of the holes.
