Description

The invention relates to the cosmetic industry, in particular to the production of cosmetics containing biologically active plant extracts for therapeutic and prophylactic use in complex therapy and prevention of various diseases.

In modern cosmetics, medicines based on medicinal plants rightfully took first place among other cosmetics. There are a large number of cosmetic and therapeutic cosmetics for skin care, body, hair, which include biologically active additives (most often extracts) from plants. Due to biologically active components, plant extracts give therapeutic and prophylactic properties to cosmetic products, which makes it possible to purposefully create therapeutic and prophylactic cosmetics using the basis of cosmetic preparations.

So, recently, therapeutic and prophylactic agents and biologically active additives based on the marsh cinquefoil plant have become widespread. One of such means is the Sabelnik cream taken as a prototype manufactured by Fora-Farm LLC (see the sanitary-epidemiological conclusion of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Russian Federation and the Chief Sanitary Inspector of the city of Moscow No. 77.01.12.915. The “Sabelnik” cream produced by “Fora-Farm” LLC contains oil extracts: sabelnik, chamomile, rosehip, horse chestnut, string, nettle, wormwood, plantain, fucus and water-alcohol extracts: elecampane, rosemary, sweet clover, horsetail. The cream contains vegetable oils as a fatty base: corn and cedar, as structural elements - deg stearate, emulsion wax and lanolin.

In addition, the cream contains a preservative, glycerin, vitamins A and E, collagen hydrolyzate, D-panthenol, vitanol.

The disadvantage of the prototype is the presence of a large number of plant ingredients, which weakens the positive effect of the main plant ingredient - marsh cinquefoil, which manifests itself better in monoreceptions. In addition, the prototype uses saberfish oil extract, which contains only a fat-soluble fraction of biologically active substances, i.e. not all biologically active substances are obviously extracted, but only their smaller fraction. As a result, the said cream is more suitable as a decorative cosmetic with a weakly expressed therapeutic and prophylactic effect.

The objective of the proposed technical solution is to expand the range of therapeutic and prophylactic agents based on the marsh cinquefoil plant by creating a new therapeutic and prophylactic agent for external action with the maximum use of the positive medicinal properties of the marsh cinquefoil plant.

The technical result is the creation of an external agent suitable for use in the complex treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, containing the most complete complex of biologically active marsh cinquefoil and a complex of carriers for their improved bioavailability.

The problem is solved in that a therapeutic and cosmetic product for the body is proposed containing a fat base, structure-forming components, target additives, a preservative, water-alcohol and oil extracts of the marsh cinquefoil as a biologically active additive and water, and it contains mink as a fat base fat, badger fat and pork fat in equal proportions, and as structure-forming components it contains stearin, triethanolamine, glycerol monostearate and lanolin, in the following ratio of components , wt.%:

Moreover, the proposed therapeutic and cosmetic product as oil extracts of the marsh cinquefoil contains the extract of the marsh cinquefoil in vegetable oil, taken from the group: sunflower, soy, olive.

The marsh cinquefoil plant has long been known in folk medicine of the peoples of Russia, as well as countries of East Asia (Medicinal plants of Siberia. Minaeva VG - Novosibirsk: - Science, SB RAS, 1991).

As medicinal raw materials use grass, roots and rhizomes of plants that contain tannins, flavonoids, essential oil, resins, organic acids. Due to the P-vitamin activity characteristic of tannins and flavonoids, the roots of saberfish normalize and support the structure of connective tissue, which is subject to physical exertion. Essential oil present in the saberfish leads to a decrease in swelling of inflamed tissues and relieve pain. Due to these properties, in modern medicine, saberfish is used primarily in the complex treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system of various origins. It is known at the same time that in the treatment of such diseases, along with internal agents, external agents are also used: rubbing, ointments, creams.

Therefore, as a result of further study of the marsh cinquefoil plant, an original formula of a new therapeutic and cosmetic product based on the marsh cinquefoil plant, suitable for external use in complex therapy and for the prevention of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, was developed. The external use of biologically active substances while ensuring the penetrating ability of the components through the skin barrier due to ultra-dispersion allows to bring the active substances to the site of the disease, bypassing the digestive tract.

As a result of numerous studies and experiments, it was found that the optimal ratio of the components of the composition is, wt.%:

The fatty basis of the new product is natural fats: mink, badger and interior pork, taken in equal proportions. Fat reduces the skin’s return to water and, penetrating into the surface-epithelial layer, impregnates and softens it, imparts elasticity to the skin, and protects it from harmful external influences and temperature changes. Fats included in the cream recipe have long been used both in pure form and as a traditional base for ointments. Mink, badger and interior pork fats, containing a high percentage of triglycerides of polyunsaturated fatty acids with a lower molecular weight than other animal fats, allow better penetration of the surface-epithelial layer of the skin, thereby ensuring high bioavailability of the medicinal substances introduced with them.

Lanolin, glycerin, which are part of the cream, are also known for a long time as agents used in ointments and creams.

Glycerin, used as a target supplement, in dilute solutions (containing not more than 30% glycerol) is absorbed into the tissue and, slightly irritating the exteroreceptors of the skin, attracts the liquid component of blood to it, which helps to soften the epithelial layer. In addition, glycerin has preservative properties, as it prevents the growth of bacteria, is not saponified, and has antifreeze properties.

Lanolin - acts as an emulsifier, in addition, it is perfectly absorbed by the skin without irritating it.

In addition to lanolin, the emulsifying components in the new product are glycerol monostearate, stearin and triethanolamine. Glycerol monostearate is an auxiliary primary emulsifier. Used to increase the dispersibility of the cream composition. Such creams do not stain clothes and are easily washed off with water.

Stearin (stearic acid) together with triethanolamine is used in cosmetics to improve the dispersion of compositions with the formation of a structure that increases the stability of the emulsion.

Paraoxybenzoic acid methyl ester is introduced as a preservative.

In addition, distilled water is introduced into the composition of the fat-soluble components, which is necessary to enhance the therapeutic effect of the cream due to an increase in the degree of dispersion of fatty and greasy-like substances and their penetration into the epithelial layers of the skin. In addition, the water in the cream gives it a pleasant texture and moisturizing effect.

A mixture of 2.25 kg of glycerol, 1.25 kg of triethanolamine and 61.7 kg of water is poured into a heated and stirred reactor at a temperature of 75-85 ° C, stirred, a homogenizer is turned on, and a mixture of a fatty base and fat-soluble components consisting of 1.25 kg of mink fat, 1.25 kg of badger fat, 1.25 kg of pork interior fat, 2.25 kg of lanolin, 3.5 kg of glycerol monostearate, 3.5 kg of stearin, 0.3 kg of paraoxybenzoic acid methyl ester. The homogenizer is turned off, the heating is turned off, and when the reactor stirrer is working, mixing is carried out to a temperature of 55-60 ° C. Then, 4.5 kg of oil extract of the marsh cinquefoil is poured, mixed for 30 minutes. In the cream recipe, mink fat, badger fat and interior pig fat, taken in equal proportions, were used as a nutritive fat base. As already mentioned, natural fats are triglycerides of fatty acids that provide a positive dermatological effect and contribute to the deep penetration of biologically active substances into the skin. In total, the optimal amount of natural fats in the cream does not exceed 4.5 wt.%, Otherwise a greasing effect may occur.

As the target emollient is glycerin, taken in an amount of 2.0-2.5. Introduction below the lower limit does not provide the specified softening effect. The introduction of glycerol in amounts above the upper limit affects the structure of the cream. The amount of 2.0-2.5 is optimal and in combination with natural fats and other components creates the necessary softening and moisturizing effect.

The following components were used as structure-forming components (emulsifiers): stearin - 3.0-4.0, triethanolamine - 1.0-1.5, glycerol monostearate - 3.0-4.0 and lanolin - 2.0-2.5 . The complex of structure-forming components is optimally selected taking into account other components included in the composition. A change in the ratio of components leads to instability of the emulsion.

The main component of the cream is the extract of the marsh cinquefoil introduced into the cream in the following amounts:

- in the form of a water-alcohol extract from 14.0 to 20.0 wt.%;

- in the form of an oil extract in an amount of from 4.0 to 5.0 wt.%.

Water-alcohol extract is prepared by known methods of preparing tinctures and extracts.

The oil extract is prepared in a known manner in vegetable oil, taken from the group: sunflower, soybean, olive; with a ratio of vegetable oil: raw marsh cinquefoil, equal to 6: 1. You can include an oil extract on one of the mentioned oils, or you can take extracts on different oils, for example, from sunflower oil from 2.0 to 2.5 wt.% And soybean oil from 2.0 to 2.5 wt.%.

The presence of oil and alcohol extracts in the cream suggests that the cream contains the most complete extraction of the biologically active substances of sabretnik. Fat-soluble biologically active substances are extracted with vegetable oils, and alcohol-soluble are extracted with alcohol. As a result, the whole complex of biologically active substances of the marsh cinquefoil plant gets into the cream, which significantly increases its effectiveness. A decrease in the content of the oil extract in the cream of less than 4.0 wt.% And water-alcohol content of less than 14.0 wt.% Leads to a sharp decrease in the effectiveness of the cream, and an excess of more than 5.0 wt.% Of the oil extract and over 20.0 wt. % water-alcohol extract leads to instability of the composition.

The inventive product under the commercial name "Sabelnik Evalar" is a cream from yellow-green to brown-green in color with a specific smell. The cream is thermostable, does not exfoliate. Methods of chemical analysis confirm the presence of flavonoids, tannins of the marsh cinquefoil, the hydrogen index (pH) is neutral, the acid number is not more than 2 mg KOH / g. The presence in the cream of a complex of natural biologically active substances helps to normalize and maintain the structure of connective tissue, which is subject to physical exertion, reduces swelling of inflamed tissues and relieves pain, which is why it is recommended to use the cream prophylactically for increased loads on the musculoskeletal system (for example, athletes) , as well as in the complex treatment of diseases of the osteoarticular system: osteochondrosis, gout, radiculitis, rheumatism, polyarthritis, various -inflammatory processes in the joints.

On the basis of the outpatient department of the city hospital No. 1 in Biysk, tests were conducted on volunteers with diseases of the joints and spine (arthrosis, arthritis, osteochondrosis of the spine). A total of 20 patients were monitored. All of them turned to the clinic with an exacerbation of the disease; their inclusion in the observation was carried out as they sought medical help. Patients with severe symptoms of concomitant diseases were excluded with decompensation of circulatory and respiratory functions. The age of the patients ranged from 40 to 72 years. 2 groups of 10 people were formed. All patients received traditional therapy. In the main group, along with traditional therapy, Sabretnik Evalar cream was additionally applied externally up to 4 times a day. The control group did not receive external treatment with Sabelnik Evalar cream. The course of treatment is 30 days, the study was conducted by the method of direct clinical examination of patients with observation over a 50-day period with an assessment of laboratory blood counts and an x-ray picture in a clinic.

Clinical trials showed good tolerance of the claimed drug and the absence of complications. The cream does not have an irritating and allergenic effect. According to clinical signs, the external use of the cream in the form of rubbing on the affected areas accelerated the onset of the positive effect by 2-3 days, positive clinical changes 7–9 days earlier than in the control group. The treatment effect is manifested in the analgesic effect with the removal of swelling of the periarticular tissues and skin hyperesthesia, in the elimination of muscle tension and restoration of function.

The composition and manufacturing technology of the cream allows you to get a quality product with a therapeutic effect that meets the requirements of GOST 29189-91 for emulsion creams of the oil-in-water type. In terms of quality and safety, the cream meets the requirements of SanPiN 1.2.681-97. Under storage conditions in accordance with GOST 29189-91, the product retains organoleptic, physico-chemical and microbiological parameters within the requirements of GOST.

The useful effect of using the invention is that the range of domestic therapeutic and cosmetic preparations based on plant materials is expanding.

The preparation of the cream is carried out on known equipment, using known means, therefore, the technical solution has industrial applicability.
