A groove is made on the carriage for the bow-string, in the central part the bow is made forked.

FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY

The invention relates to small arms throwing weapons and can be used to conduct crossbow shooting competitions.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Known sports crossbow RU No. 2150650, containing a bow with a bowstring, a butt, a bed and a carriage engaged with the bed and bowstring.

Significant disadvantages of the prototype include insufficiently reliable fixation of the boom on the bed and a large mass of the carriage.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In order to increase accuracy (due to the bed made in the form of a tube) and increase the initial speed of the boom (by reducing the mass of the carriage), as well as reduce the number of parts of the crossbow (by replacing the two carriage guides with one tube), the sports crossbow contains: bow, the butt, the trigger mechanism, the bed and the carriage, while the arrow is hollow, the bed is made in the form of a tube, the outer diameter of which is smaller than the inner diameter of the arrow, the carriage is made in the form of a ring, the inner diameter of which is larger than the outer diameter the box is smaller than the outer diameter of the boom, and a groove for a bowstring is made on the carriage, while the bowstring in the central part is bifurcated. On the outer surface of the tube, along the longitudinal axis, two diametrically opposed helical grooves of rectangular cross section can be made, in this case, two diametrically oppositely spaced pins are made on the inner surface of the tail of the boom.

The proposed technical solution is illustrated in figures 1, 2 and 3. Figure 1 shows a side view of a crossbow, where 1 is a bow, 2 is a butt, 3 is a bed, 4 is a carriage, 5 is a bowstring and 6 is an arrow. In Fig.2 shows a carriage 4 with an annular groove 7 and a string 6. In Fig.3 shows a carriage 4 with two sections of the groove 8 and a string 5.

WORK OF THE INVENTION

A sports crossbow works as follows (see figure 1): when you press the trigger, the carriage 4 is released and starts to accelerate on the box 3 due to the bowstring 5, straightened by bow 1. Arrow 6 is accelerated on the box 3 by carriage 4, is ejected from the crossbow and flies on target.

It should be noted that to ensure silent shooting, it is desirable to leave the end of the bed (tube) connected to the butt open (for air access), moreover, several holes can be made in the side surface of the bed (tube). The technical solution according to claim 2 of the claims allows, when fired, to twist the arrow along the longitudinal axis of the box. In this case, instead of stabilizers (located on the outer surface of the boom), the boom in the tail part (on its inner surface) is equipped with two pins located diametrically opposite. As a result, both the range and accuracy of shooting with an arrow from a sports crossbow are increased. The location of the bed inside the hollow boom contributes to its reliable fixation before firing.

Sports crossbow containing a bow, butt, trigger, box and carriage, characterized in that the arrow is hollow, the bed is made in the form of a tube, the outer diameter of which is smaller than the inner diameter of the arrow, the carriage is made in the form of a ring, the inner diameter of which is larger than the outer the diameter of the bed and less than the outer diameter of the boom, and a groove for a bowstring is made on the carriage, while the bowstring in the central part is bifurcated. 2. The sports crossbow according to claim 1, characterized in that on the outer surface of the tube, along the longitudinal axis, two diametrically opposed helical grooves of rectangular cross section are made, and on the inner surface of the tail of the boom two diametrically opposed pins are made.
