Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of welding, and in particular to methods of controlling technological equipment providing a pulsed supply of welding wire to the arc zone.
9/10, 07. 06. 89).A known method of controlling the mechanism of the pulsed feed of the welding wire, comprising issuing a signal to the control system of the mechanism (see the description of the patent of the Russian Federation No. 1484526, 23 K 9/10, 07. 06. 89).
The disadvantage of this method is the unpredictability of the process of drip transfer of metal of the electrode wire into the weld pool and the process of arc burning.
There is a known method of controlling the mechanism of pulsed feeding of a welding wire that eliminates these drawbacks, which includes issuing a signal to a control system of a pulsed supply of welding wire with a control signal source in automatic mode, in which the control system is adaptive, and a welding arc voltage sensor is used as a control signal source ( see the description of the invention to the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2198079, 23 K 9/095, 9/12, 2000).
The disadvantage of this invention is the complexity of the control circuit.
The task is to create a method that allows you to control the pitch of the feed and, as a result, the size of the droplets of electrode metal transferred into the weld pool while simplifying the control circuit of the device that implements the method.
The problem is achieved in that in the method for controlling the mechanism of pulsed feeding of the welding wire, which includes issuing a signal to an adaptive control system of the mechanism for pulsed feeding of the welding wire with a control signal source in automatic mode, a pressure sensor of the welding wire pressure in the guide channel of the welding hose is used as a signal source and feed pitch sensor. The wire feed pulse is produced at the moment the welding wire in the guide channel of the welding hose reaches the energy corresponding to the optimal acceleration of the movement of the welding wire, while the pulse repetition rate is determined by the setting of the force sensor and the speed of the feed mechanism (with a constant wire feed speed) and the wire feed pitch specified by the sensor . Those. The pulse feed mechanism of the welding wire is controlled by pulses, the feed time and frequency of which depends on the settings of the force sensor, the feed speed of the welding wire with a standard feed mechanism and the feed pitch sensor, which, in turn, affects the drop size of the electrode metal and its transfer frequency. Therefore, any changes that have occurred in the system "feed mechanism - welding hose - constant feed to pulse converter" are reflected in the pulse repetition rate, i.e. the system is closed.
The inventive method is characterized by the presence of the following features:
а) в качестве источника сигнала для управления механизмом импульсной подачи сварочной проволоки в автоматическом режиме используют датчик усилия сварочной проволоки в направляющем канале сварочного шланга и датчик шага подачи;a) as a signal source for controlling the pulse feed mechanism of the welding wire in automatic mode, use the sensor of the welding wire force in the guide channel of the welding hose and the pitch sensor;
б) частота следования импульсов определяется настройкой датчика усилия, скоростью подающего механизма и заданным датчиком шагом подачи сварочной проволоки.b) the pulse repetition rate is determined by the setting of the force sensor, the speed of the feed mechanism and the welding wire feed pitch set by the sensor.
The technical essence of the claimed invention is illustrated by the drawing, which schematically shows a device for implementing a method for controlling the mechanism of pulsed feeding of a welding wire. The method is as follows:
At the initial moment of time, when wire 1 is fed by feeding mechanism 2, the electromagnet's supply voltage is supplied from the control unit 4 to the electromagnet 3 from the control unit 4, so that welding wire 1, moving along the guide channel of the welding hose 5, stops by a locking device 3. Wire 1, which continues to move in the guide channel of the hose 5, accumulates energy due to the formation of elastic waves along the length of the hose 5 and at the same time exerts pressure on the force sensor 6. At the moment when and the pressure of the wire 1 to the force sensor 6 will exceed the set value, the signal from the sensor 6 will go to the control unit 4 of the locking device 3, which removes the voltage from the electromagnet of the locking device 3. The locking device is opened, and the welding wire 1 is straightened due to the stored energy of elastic deformation . As the wire 1 passes a certain distance, which is set by the feed pitch sensor 7 of wire 1, the signal from the sensor 7 through the control unit 4 supplies the operating voltage to the electromagnet of the locking device 3, wire 1 stops.
After which the process is repeated.
In this case, the pulse repetition rate will depend on the specified force on the sensor 6, the speed of the feeding mechanism 2 and the specified pitch of the wire 1 on the sensor 7 of the pitch.
Thus, a method for controlling the mechanism of pulsed feeding of the welding wire has been developed, which allows controlling the pitch of the feed and, as a result, the size of the transferred drops of electrode metal, while the control circuit of the device that implements the method has been greatly simplified.
