Abstract
Description
The invention relates to designs of sumps for wastewater treatment and can be used for wastewater treatment from settling and floating suspended solids.
В 01 D 21/02, 12.03.1968).Known sump with a downward-upward flow of fluid designed by A.V. Ershov, containing a cylindrical body and a conical body, a baffle in the cylindrical part of the body, the feed source of sewage, a gear spillway, a bowl for removing floating substances, a sediment removal pipe under hydrostatic pressure, prefabricated clarified wastewater tray with a clarified wastewater removal pipeline (SU 208552 A, class B 01 D 21/02, 03/12/1968).
A disadvantage of the known installation is the constant downward-ascending velocity of the wastewater in the live section of the sump, as a result of which the gravitational coagulation of floating and settling suspended solids due to the absence of a suspended layer occurs slowly.
The technical problem, the solution of which the alleged invention is directed, is the intensification of wastewater treatment from settling and floating suspended solids.
This problem is solved by the fact that in order to intensify the process of treating wastewater from settling and floating suspended solids with the help of a conical baffle, a variable speed of the downward-upward flow of wastewater is created in the cylindrical tank of the sump.
1.The invention is illustrated by drawings, where figure 1 shows a General view of the sump with a downward-upward flow of liquid, figure 2 is a section aa in figure 1.

10.The sludge tank with a downward-upward flow of liquid consists of a feed wastewater supply tray 1, distribution nozzles 2, a bowl with a gear spillway for removing floating substances 3, a conical partition 4, a
An example of the operation of a sump with a downward-upward flow of liquid.
6.Contaminated wastewater through the feed wastewater feed tray 1 through the distribution nozzles 2 is fed into the inner space of the conical septum 4. The conical septum 4 has a different live section area in height, and the area in the upper part of the conical partition 4 is smaller than in the lower one, and therefore , the speed of wastewater in the upper part of the conical septum 4 will be greater than in the lower part (variable speed of the wastewater). Particles of floating substances in suspension in wastewater, due to different hydraulic fineness and variable speed of movement of wastewater in the conical septum 4, have a different floating rate, as a result of which they collide and enlarge, and floating are concentrated in the upper part of the conical septum 4 particles with a larger hydraulic size, in the lower - with a smaller one, that is, a suspended layer is formed (when the vertical speed of movement of wastewater in a horizontal section conical septum 4 will be equal to the hydraulic particle size). Due to the inflow of contaminated wastewater into the conical septum 4 through the distribution pipes 2 in the upper part of the conical septum 4, an excess top layer of surfaced contaminants is formed, which is transported by gravity outside the cylindrical sump through a gear-weir to remove floating substances 3 through the drain pipe 9 by
5.The clarified wastewater enters the collecting tray 8 and is transported through the clarified
In the inventive design of the sump with a downward-upward flow of wastewater, the hydrodynamic scheme of work is improved in comparison with the prototype.
