SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of thrust-damper supports of rotors of turbomachines. Proposed support of turbomachine rotor contains bearing and shell secured on outer race and connected with stator member by means of split bushing and forming damping space between stator member and shell. Shell and stator member are provided with end face steps from side opposite to split bushing. Said steps engage with each other and with splines made behind. Moreover, shell is furnished with axial displacement limiter.
EFFECT: prevention of breakage of support and other members of turbomachine in operation, improved reliability of turbomachine.

Description

The invention relates to the field of turbomachinery, and in particular to the design of elastic-damping bearings of rotors of turbomachines.

Known elastic-damper support of the rotor of the turbomachine, containing a bearing and a shell secured to its outer race, connected to the stator element using a split sleeve and forming a damping cavity with it [1].

In such a support, a split sleeve, perceiving axial force from a thrust bearing, provides the necessary flexibility of the support. However, with an increase in the friction forces in the bearing, increasing torque can lead to breakage of the split sleeve and displacement of the rotor in the direction of the axial force, which will lead to breakage of both the support and the compressor blades and turbines.

The objective of the invention is to increase the reliability of the turbomachine.

This problem is solved by the fact that in the known elastic-damping support of the rotor of a turbomachine containing a bearing and a shell secured to its outer casing, connected to the stator element using a split sleeve and forming a damping cavity, a shell and a stator element from the side opposite to the split sleeve are equipped with end ledges in contact with each other and with adjacent mines made behind them, the shell being equipped with an axial displacement limiter.

This embodiment of the device allows to reduce the amount of additional stresses arising in the split sleeve with increasing friction in the bearing, and also to limit the axial movement of the rotor of the turbomachine in case of breakage of the split sleeve.

Thus, the reliability of the elastic-damper support is improved.

Figure 1 shows a longitudinal section of an elastic damper support; figure 2 is a transverse section through the mating slots.

The elastic-damper bearing comprises a bearing 1, on the outer race of which a shell 2 is fixed, connected to the stator element 3 by means of a split sleeve 4. The shell 2 forms a damping cavity 5 with the stator element 3, bounded by seals 6 and 7. The shell 2 and the stator element 3 from the side opposite to the split sleeve 4, equipped with ledges 8 and 9, in contact with each other. Behind the seal 7, conjugate slots 10 and 11 are located. Behind the slots 10, a restriction element 12 is installed on the shell 2.

During operation of the turbomachine, oil is supplied under pressure to the damping cavity 5. When the rotor oscillates, the shell 2 is displaced relative to the stator element 3, and the oil flows from the high-pressure region to the lower-pressure region, as a result of which the rotor oscillations are damped. The maximum displacement of the shell 2 relative to the stator element 3 is limited by the radial clearances between the seals 6 and 7 and the stator element 3, which provide the permissible stresses in the split sleeve 4.

In the case of increased friction in the bearing 1 in the split sleeve 4, additional bending stresses arise, which are summed up with the stresses arising from the action of the unbalanced rotor forces and from the axial force from the bearing. In the presence of mating slots 10 and 11 on the shell 2 and the stator element 3, the torsion stresses in the split sleeve 4 are limited to an acceptable value. This is ensured by the selection of the gap 13 (figure 2) in the conjugate slots 10 and 11.

In the event of a breakdown of the split sleeve 4, the limiter 12 and the end ledges 8 and 9 will limit the axial movement of the rotor. The amount of movement is limited by the size of the gap 14 between the limiter 12 and the stator element 3 (figure 1).

Thus, the proposed device can prevent the destruction of the support and other structural elements of the turbomachine, which increases the reliability of its operation.

  1. The elastic damper support of the rotor of the turbomachine, comprising a bearing and a shell secured to its outer casing, connected to the stator element by means of a split sleeve and forming a damping cavity with it, characterized in that the shell and stator element on the side opposite to the split sleeve are provided with end ledges, a contact between themselves and the conjugate slots made behind them, and the shell is equipped with an axial displacement limiter.
