Abstract
Description
The invention relates to mechanical engineering, namely to processing by grinding, and can be used when grinding workpieces from materials having high adhesive activity with respect to the grinding wheel.
A known method of dressing grinding wheels with a free abrasive, according to which a lapping is installed at the surface of a rotating grinding wheel with the possibility of transverse movement, and a free abrasive is fed into the gap between the grinding wheel and grinding (A.S. 1668121 A1, USSR, publ. BI No. 29, 1991 .). The reasons that impede the achievement of the technical result indicated below when using the known method of cleaning grinding wheels include the fact that the cleaning effect is reduced, since the farther away the grains are from the conditional outer surface of the wheel, the lower the degree of cleaning, since the lapping is made of metal and not possesses elastic properties.
The closest to the claimed invention in terms of features is the method of cleaning grinding wheels selected as a prototype (RF patent 2185272, publ. BI No. 20, 2002), which consists in clamping a tool from an elastomer to the working surface of a rotating circle and feeding it into the contact zone free abrasive, the grit of which is lower than the grit of the grinding wheel. The reasons that impede the achievement of the technical result indicated below when using the known cleaning method adopted as a prototype include the relatively low efficiency of removing metal deposits from grains of the grinding wheel.
The invention consists in the following. In the period between dressing a circle when grinding billets of adhesive-active materials, its cutting ability is unstable and gradually decreases, which leads to the need for a corresponding decrease in the performance of defect-free grinding or (and) to a deterioration in the quality of polished parts. One way to improve the efficiency of grinding workpieces made of adhesive-active materials is to clean the working surface of the grinding wheel. Cleaning several times between dressings of the wheel stabilizes the cutting ability of the wheel between dressings, which makes it possible to increase processing productivity and the durability of the wheel. The latter leads to a reduction in the number of edits and saving circles, as well as to an improvement in the quality of polished parts.
The technical result is an increase in the performance of defect-free grinding by forcing the machining mode and (or) increasing the durability of the grinding wheel and thereby reducing the number of edits while ensuring the specified quality of the polished parts.
The specified technical result during the implementation of the invention is achieved by the fact that, as in the known cleaning method, an elastomer tool is pressed against the working surface of the rotating grinding wheel, and a free abrasive is supplied through the tube into their contact area, the granularity of which is lower than the grain size of the grinding wheel, a feature is that longitudinal ultrasonic vibrations are imposed on the tube. The grains of the abrasive under the influence of vibrations of the oscillating tube hit the working surface of the greasy grinding wheel, which intensifies the process of removing adhering metal workpieces from the abrasive grains of the grinding wheel. The process of removing sticks intensifies with an increase in the number of impacts of free abrasive grains on the material of the sticks per unit time, therefore, ultrasonic frequency vibrations are superimposed. At the same time, the cleaning time is reduced, tool wear is reduced and the quality of cleaning is improved.

Information confirming the possibility of carrying out the invention with obtaining the above technical result.
Upon reaching a certain degree of salting of the working surface of the grinding wheel 1, rotating with a working speed V k , an
