Abstract
Description
The invention relates to mechanical engineering, namely to processing by grinding, and can be used when grinding workpieces from materials with high adhesive activity with respect to the grinding wheel.
A known method of dressing grinding wheels with a free abrasive, according to which a lapping is installed at the surface of a rotating grinding wheel with the possibility of lateral movement, and a free abrasive is fed into the gap between the wheel and grinding (A.S. 1668121 A1 of the USSR, MKI 3 V 24 V 53/013. Device for dressing grinding wheels with a free abrasive / V.V. Burmistrov, A.D. Khromenko, V.V. Mashchenko, E.M. Sirovsky. 4610656/08; claimed 30.11.88; published 07.08.91; BI 29 ) The reasons that impede the achievement of the technical result indicated below when using the known method of cleaning grinding wheels include the fact that the cleaning effect is reduced, since the farther away the grains are from the conditional outer surface of the wheel, the lower the degree of cleaning, since the lapping is made of metal and not possesses elastic properties.
The closest to the claimed invention in terms of features is the cleaning method selected as a prototype (AS 1775282 USSR, MKI 3 V 24 V 53/007. Method for cleaning abrasive tools / II Kuznetsov. 4847739/08; application 03.05 .90; publ. 15.11.92, BI 42), which consists in exposing the grinding wheel to the working surface with a cleaning tool, which uses an elastomer.
The reasons that impede the achievement of the technical result indicated below when using the known cleaning method adopted for the prototype include the low efficiency of removing metal deposits from the grains of the grinding wheel and the large dimensional wear of the cleaning tool.
The invention consists in the following. The high intensity of salting of the working surface of the grinding wheel during grinding of workpieces made of adhesive-active materials leads to a decrease in processing productivity and a deterioration in the quality of polished parts. One of the ways to improve the efficiency of grinding workpieces from adhesive-active materials is to rationalize the cleaning of grinding wheels.
The technical result is an increase in processing productivity while ensuring a given quality of polished parts.
The specified technical result in the implementation of the invention is achieved by the fact that, as in the known cleaning method, the working surface of a rotating grinding wheel is affected by an elastomer tool, the peculiarity is that the effect is carried out by pressing the tool to the working surface of the wheel, and into the contact area serves free abrasive, the granularity of which is lower than the granularity of the grinding wheel. At the same time, the process of removing metal deposits from the grains of the circle is intensified and the cleaning time is reduced. When using free abrasive, the granularity of which is lower than the grain of the grinding wheel, favorable conditions are created for cleaning the grains of the wheel, remote from its conventional outer surface.

The drawings show: figure 1 - the initial position of the cleaning tool relative to the circle; figure 2 - scheme for cleaning the working surface of the circle.
Information confirming the possibility of carrying out the invention with obtaining the above technical result.
