Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of electrophysical and electrochemical processing, in particular to electrical discharge machining of metals.
For the manufacture of parts made of aluminum foil with a thickness of 50 to 5 μm, either a very precisely made backlash-free stamp or a template according to which the parts are cut is required. When using one or another device, it is required to increase the tolerance on the manufactured product, which is not always permissible under the conditions of the product.
A known installation for laser processing (see, for example, RF patent No. 2140838, class B 23 K 26/08, 1998), in which parts of various configurations of a wide range are manufactured using laser radiation.
When laser cutting of parts, the edges are melted, as well as burns at the edges, which is not allowed by the technical requirements for the product.
A device is known for EDM processing of product edges (see, for example, RF patent No. 1404220, 23 N 1/00, 1986), in which, when a current pulse flows between the electrode-wire and the workpiece, the edge is processed.
During electroerosive processing of thin plates assembled in a package, the edges of the parts are also welded, after which it is impossible to separate them, and in the case of a single manufacture of the part, the foil material breaks.
The invention is directed to a method for manufacturing foil parts with high accuracy, improved quality and greater productivity.
To do this, when implementing a method of manufacturing parts of various configurations from aluminum foil assembled in a bag, based on EDM processing using an electrode wire fed by a pulse voltage with a microsecond pulse duration, a capacitor paper is laid in the assembled foil bag between each layer of foil, a bag placed between the plates of sheet aluminum with a thickness of ≈ 2 mm and fastened along the edges with rivets of aluminum alloy with a pitch of not more than 20 mm, then in the package erlivayut opening in which is placed a wire-electrode, it is supplied to the pulse voltage and is cut from the workpiece desired package configuration.
Figure 1 shows an example of assembly of the package, figure 2, 3 and 4 show various configurations of manufactured parts.
6.The package consists of sheets of foil 1, between which a capacitor paper 2 is laid, plates 3 of sheet aluminum, the package is fastened with rivets 4, an electrode-wire 6 is placed in the hole drilled in the package 5.
A method of manufacturing aluminum foil parts is suitable for foils from 50 to 5 microns.
In the method, the foil 1 is collected in a bag. Between each layer of foil 1, a KON or SKON condenser paper 2 of a thickness of 6 μm to 8 μm is laid. The bag is placed between plates 3 of sheet aluminum with a thickness of ≈ 2 mm and fastened with rivets 4 of aluminum alloy with a pitch of not more than 20 mm. Processing of the package is carried out on an EDM machine. A hole 5 is drilled in the bag at the starting point of processing, an electrode-wire 6 is passed through the hole and fed with a pulse voltage with a microsecond pulse duration. Processing uses the pulsed nature of the input energy, acting for a short period of time, which leads to the release of large power in the working area. Therefore, on the surface area, measured in units of square microns, in a time determined by microseconds, the temperature reaches large values, large accelerations are created in the zone of action of the pulse and instantaneous pressures arise. All this makes it possible to perform electric discharge machining of parts, excluding welding of the edges of the foil.
The method allows to produce parts with high accuracy, without damaging the foil, a cheaper method and with high productivity.
