Description
The invention relates to the field of mineral processing of a wide range of fineness and can be used in the beneficiation of ore and industrial mineral raw materials containing non-ferrous, ferrous, noble, rare metals and non-metallic minerals. The flotation pneumatic column machine includes a housing consisting of an upper extended and a lower part, a feed unit and two discharge units, a disperser and an annular foam collector. In the expanded part of the body, guides are installed in two levels, which change the fluid dynamics in the machine chamber. The invention improves the recovery of a useful component in a foam product.
Known flotation pneumatic column machine (USSR author's certificate No. 368883, 04 04 5/10), which includes a chamber consisting of upper expanded and lower parts made in the form of two truncated cones connected by a wide base, a feeding unit including a mixing chamber and an ejector, an air dispersant is installed at the bottom of the chamber. An upward vortex flow of aerated pulp is created in the mixing chamber. The upward flow should enhance the possibility of flotation of mineral particles larger than 80 microns. The disadvantage of this machine is that there are no conditions for the flotation of coarse-grained material larger than 0.2 mm.
The closest in technical essence is a flotation pneumatic column machine (see RF patent No. 2151648, 7 V 03 D 1/24), including a cylindrical chamber consisting of upper expanded and lower parts, in the upper part there is a feed unit with ejectors, in the lower part of the air dispersant is located, the upper part of the chamber is divided into external and internal by means of a central telescopic pipe. In the design of the machine there are two unloading devices - bottom and airlift. In the upper part of the case there is a foam collector. A disadvantage of the known machine is that there are no conditions for the flotation of coarse-grained material due to the tangential introduction of pulp into the chamber of the machine, which determines a large centrifugal force that discards and presses large particles and aggregates of material to the inner surface of the chamber. At the same time, they descend in a downward spiral into the lower part of the column, bypassing dispersants they are lost in the chamber product, i.e. on the face, the effect used in hydrocyclone to separate material into coarse-grained and fine-grained fractions. Thus, in this machine, favorable conditions are created for the flotation of material with a particle size of up to 0.2 mm, and intergrowths and particles larger than 0.2 mm are lost.
The technical problem to which the invention is directed is to increase the extraction of the useful component of its coarse particles and intergrowths larger than 0.2 mm by converting and using the energy of pulp input from centrifugal downward dynamics into upward flows, which cause intensification of coarse-grained material flotation in direct-flow mode.

EFFECT: increased extraction of particles and aggregates of a useful component larger than 0.2 mm.
The inventive flotation machine includes a housing consisting of an upper extended and lower parts, a supply and two discharge units, a disperser, a foam collector, the first level guides are symmetrically installed at the top of the housing at an angle to the diametrical horizontal plane of the supply unit, and above them are vertical guides the second level at an angle to the plane of the axial diametrical section of the column.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing, which shows a General view of a flotation pneumatic column machine.
1.The flotation machine has a cylindrical body, consisting of upper expanded 3 and lower part 6, an annular groove 2 is installed in the upper expanded part, the machine is equipped with an ejector-type feeding device 5, there are two unloading devices - a bottom 8 and an airlift 9, in the lower part of the chamber 6 it is installed air dispersant 7, in the upper expanded part 3, rails of the first level 4 are installed, and above them rails of the second level 1 are installed.
Flotation machine operates as follows. Pulp and air under pressure through the feeding device 5 enter the upper expanded part of the chamber 3, falling on the guides of the first level 4, the guides of the first level provide the pulp-air jet to move upward, which is initially necessary for an upward trajectory of particles and large aggregates. Next, the ascending tangential stream enters the guides of the second level 1, which tear it away from the inner surface of the chamber and direct the diffused flow to the central part of the chamber, sharply reducing centrifugal force. The formed aeroflocules rise into the foam layer of the upper expanded chamber, and the upward flow of the pulp-air mixture ensures the lifting and removal of the useful coarse-grained component into the foam. The air dispersant 7, mounted in the lower part of the chamber 6, enhances the flotation effect in the forward flow in the upper expanded part. The dispersant provides the generation of small air bubbles, which, moving to the upper part of the chamber, contribute to the upward movement of the already formed aeroflocs of the useful component, increasing their lifting force, while increasing the stability of the units to the destruction and falling of particles. Particles that do not contain a useful component are lowered into the lower part of the chamber, bypassing the dispersant, deposited in the bottom of the chamber, removed from the machine through the bottom unloading device 8 and the airlift unloading device 9. Depending on the flotation redistribution operation, a larger amount of the chamber product can be removed from the machine both through the bottom device 8, and by means of the airlift device 9. The inventive flotation machine was tested on a coarse-grained pyrite-containing product based on a pilot pilot plant installation in comparison with a known machine (RF patent No. 2151648, 7 B 03 D 1/24).
The results of comparative tests are presented in the table. The data in the table indicate that the claimed design of the flotation pneumatic column machine allows to increase the extraction of the useful component, in this case sulfur, in the foam product by 4.73% due to improved hydrodynamics of the pulp-air mixture, providing flotation of mineral particles larger than 0.2 mm in the upstream flow.
