Abstract
Description
The invention relates to weaving and can be used in the manufacture of fabrics with embedded edges.
The problem of imperfection of the fabric with the edge of the mortgage type exists since the onset of shuttleless weaving.
[1].Known fabric with a single-layer embedded edge using plain, rep or other single-layer weaving with the location of the weft thread and the end to be laid next to each other in the same plane. When forming such an edge of the embedded type, the weft laid in the throat of the loom is cut from two sides, as a result of which loose ends of the weft threads are formed at the edges of the fabric. These ends of the weft thread laid in the pharynx of the weaving machine are inserted into the next pharynx by the needle of the edge-forming device, as a result of which the density of the fabric along the weft in the edges doubles [1].
2/2.The disadvantage of a fabric with a single-layer embedded edge is a doubling of the fabric density over the weft in the edges compared to the background, which leads to an increase in the tension of the warp threads and their increased breakage compared to the background and limits the possibility of increasing the fabric density over the weft in the background. Most often, in the edges of the fabric, plain weave and rep weave of the main 2/2 are used.
[1].The closest adopted for the prototype is a fabric with a single-layer embedded edge [1].
The set of its essential features:
- наличие в кромке основных, уточных нитей и концов уточных нитей, закладываемых на ширину кромки;- the presence in the edge of the main, weft threads and ends of the weft threads laid on the width of the edge;
- уточные нити и их закладываемые концы расположены рядом друг с другом в одной плоскости;- weft threads and their laid ends are located next to each other in the same plane;
- наличие в кромке однослойного переплетения;- the presence in the edge of a single-layer weave;
- плотность по утку в кромке равна удвоенной плотности по утку в фоне ткани.- the density of the weft in the edge is equal to twice the density of the weft in the background of the fabric.
The known edge cannot be used for the manufacture of fabrics such as a tent, since it does not allow increasing the density of the fabric in the weft in the background to the required values. The possibilities of increasing the density of the fabric for the weft in the background are limited by a limit equal to half the maximum possible density of the weft in the edge.
The technical result of the invention is to increase the density of the weft of fabrics with embedded edges, reducing the tension and breakage of the edge threads and the exclusion of twisting of the edges.
The specified technical result is achieved in that the fabric with a two-layer hollow edge, containing the main, weft yarns and the ends of the weft yarns laid on the edge width, according to the invention has an edge, the layers of which are connected by a weave along the given contour of the pattern, in which the weft yarns and them are laid the ends are located one above the other in two parallel planes, forming between themselves a cavity whose width is equal to the width of the edge.
The invention is expressed in the following combination of essential features:
- наличие в кромке основных, уточных нитей и концов уточных нитей, закладываемых на ширину кромки;- the presence in the edge of the main, weft threads and ends of the weft threads laid on the width of the edge;
- уточные нити и их закладываемые концы располагаются друг над другом в двух параллельных плоскостях, образуя между собой полость, ширина которой равна ширине кромки.- weft yarns and their laid ends are located one above the other in two parallel planes, forming a cavity with a width equal to the width of the edge.
- кромка ткани представляет собой полость вдоль ткани, ширина полости равна ширине кромки;- the edge of the fabric is a cavity along the fabric, the width of the cavity is equal to the width of the edge;
- наличие в кромке двух слоев ткани, соединенных между собой по краям кромки, за счет применения двухслойного с соединением слоев по заданному контуру узора переплетения;- the presence in the edge of two layers of fabric, interconnected at the edges of the edge, due to the use of a two-layer with the connection of the layers along a given contour of the weave pattern;
- в каждом слое кромки плотность ткани по утку равна плотности фона по утку.- in each layer of the edge, the density of the fabric in the weft is equal to the density of the background in the weft.
Для пояснения предлагаемой ткани с двухслойной полой кромкой на фиг.1 показан вертикальный разрез ткани с двумя кромками, разрез сделан вдоль нити утка (конструкция кромки); на фиг.2 показана схема расположения уточных нитей в ткани с двухслойной полой кромкой при прокладывании последовательно трех уточных нитей (без изображения основных нитей).To explain the proposed fabric with a two-layer hollow edge, Fig. 1 shows a vertical section of a fabric with two edges, a section is made along the weft thread (edge design); figure 2 shows the location of the weft threads in the fabric with a two-layer hollow edge when sequentially laying three weft threads (without the image of the main threads).
The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the ends (1) of the weft thread (2), laid in the throat of the loom, are introduced into the next pharynx when laying the next weft thread (3), forming in the edge of the second layer of fabric (6) lying under the first ( 7). As a result of this, the ends of the weft thread are not located next to this thread in one horizontal plane, but under it, forming an additional horizontal layer of fabric at the edge. The ends (4) of the weft thread (3) are inserted into the next throat of the loom along with the next weft thread (5), etc. Thus, the weft threads and their ends are alternately intertwined with the warp threads of the upper and lower layers of the edge, forming a cavity (10) between the layers, the width of which is equal to the width of the edge.
The formation of two layers in the edge occurs as a result of the fact that during the development of one of the layers, the warp threads of the other layer are isolated, namely: when laying the weft (2) of the upper layer (7), only part of the threads (8) of the upper warp are lifted according to the weave pattern, and all the threads of the lower warp at this time are omitted; when laying the weft (1) of the lower layer (6), all the warp threads of the upper layer rise, and according to the weave pattern, part of the threads (9) of the lower warp rise. The layers of fabric are joined along the edges of the edge as a result of successive laying of wefts of the upper and lower layers. Thus, the weft threads (2), (3), laid in the throat of the loom, form one layer of fabric in the background, and the same weft threads and their laid ends (1), (4) form two layers of fabric with a cavity in the edge (10) between them. The weft density in each edge layer is equal to the weft density in the background.
As the weave of each layer of the edge can be used plain weave, the
The claimed invention provides several technical results, namely:
- возможность увеличения плотности ткани по утку в фоне;- the possibility of increasing tissue density in the weft in the background;
- расширение ассортимента тканей с закладными кромками;- expanding the range of fabrics with embedded edges;
- уменьшение натяжения и обрывности кромочных нитей за счет уменьшения плотности по утку в каждом слое кромки;- reducing the tension and breakage of the filament yarn by reducing the density of the weft in each layer of the edge;
- создание одинаковых условий формирования фона ткани и каждого слоя кромки;- creating the same conditions for the formation of the background fabric and each layer of the edge;
- исключение закручивания кромки.- exclusion of twisting of the edge.
The sequence of actions during the formation of the edge is determined by the filling pattern of the fabric with the edges, two-layer with the connection of the layers along a given contour of the pattern by interlacing, a combined workout of threads in the remise and the profile of the yaw-forming cams. For the implementation of the claimed invention requires the presence of an additional four (at least) edge headers and 4-cam washers of the shedding mechanism per one machine.
Thus, the proposed fabric with a two-layer hollow edge allows you to increase the density of the fabric on the weft in the background, since the conditions for the formation of the background and the edges of the fabric are the same, that is, the density of the fabric on the weft in the background and in each layer of the edge is the same. The same edge structure on the front and back sides of the fabric eliminates the twisting of the edge in the process of finishing the fabric. The proposed edge allows you to expand the assortment of fabrics produced on shuttleless looms with an edge-forming mechanism of the embedded type by increasing the density of the fabric in the weft by 50-100%. In this case, the limit for increasing the density of fabric over the weft in the background is not limited by the density along the weft of the edge and is equal to the maximum possible density of fabric over the weft in the background.
