Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of powder metallurgy and can be used to create wear-resistant coatings having at a temperature of up to 1100 o With a reduced coefficient of friction.
[1]. Known high-temperature coating material based on Nickel, containing chromium, aluminum, yttrium, calcium fluoride and glass [1].
A disadvantage of the known material is poor heat resistance and strength at temperatures exceeding 980 o C, which does not allow it to be used in friction pairs at temperatures exceeding 980 o C.
The objective of the invention is to increase the heat resistance and wear resistance of high-temperature antifriction coating material.
The problem is solved in that the high-temperature antifriction coating material based on nickel, containing aluminum, calcium fluoride and glass, contains these ingredients, taken in the following ratio, wt.%: Aluminum - 9.52-12.58, calcium fluoride - 15-17 glass - 15-17, nickel - the rest.
The proposed material, unlike the known material [1] does not contain chromium and yttrium and is alloyed with a high aluminum content.
Chrome and, in particular, yttrium, are refractory elements, and when the antifriction layer is formed, they contribute to an increase in the friction coefficient, which leads to premature wear of the coating. This is explained by the fact that during the formation of a protective coating matrix based on nickel aluminide, chromium and yttrium form in the inclusion layer with increased hardness.
The increase in heat resistance and wear resistance is achieved in the proposed material due to the following factors.
1. In the proposed concentration, aluminum promotes the formation of nickel aluminide during spraying, which has high heat resistance, which ensures the use of the proposed material up to a temperature of 1100 o C.
0,3-0,4. 2. In order for the coating to be solid and non-porous, glass has been introduced into it, which during spraying fills the pores and, in addition, plays the role of a solid lubricant. This provides a coefficient of friction equal to 0.3-0.4.
3. The introduction of calcium fluoride into the material ensures a decrease in the coefficient of friction and, accordingly, the durability and wear resistance of the proposed material are increased.
4. The resulting nickel aluminide of a certain composition strengthens the protective layer and increases its plastic properties.
Information confirming the possibility of carrying out the invention are as follows.
To obtain anti-friction high-temperature coatings, three mixture compositions were made, wt.%:
1. Aluminum - 9.52; calcium fluoride - 15; glass - 15; nickel - the rest.
2. Aluminum - 11.05; calcium fluoride - 16; glass - 16; nickel - the rest.
3. Aluminum - 12.58; calcium fluoride - 17; glass - 17; nickel - the rest.
Then, the obtained coatings were applied by plasma spraying onto samples of 1X18 H10T steel.
[1]. Along with the proposed coating, samples of the same steel were coated with a known composition [1].
The results of checking the properties of the obtained coating layers are presented in the table.
As can be seen from the results presented in it, the proposed high-temperature antifriction material has higher protective properties than previously known materials.
In the proposed material due to the selection of a certain concentration of aluminum, its high wear resistance and heat resistance are provided at temperatures up to 1100 o C.
