Abstract

FIELD: veterinary virology, biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: industrial strain "BD" of virus PPCC is obtained by multiple sequential passages in 3-days old cell culture of the strain Marc-145. The strain "BD" is deposited in collection of microorganism strains VGNKI at registration code "BD-DEP". The strain "BD" differs from both industrial and early isolated strains of virus PPCC. Virus of the strain "BD" is reproduced in cytoplasm of cells in 3-days old culture of the strain Marc-145 at temperature 37 C. For 40-48 h of incubation virus is accumulated to titer value 6.0-7.5 Ig ТЦД50/ml. The strain "BD" is stable and harmless, it shows high biological, antigenic and immunogenic activity and can be used for preparing agents used for specific prophylaxis and diagnosis. EFFECT: valuable properties of virus strain. 4 tbl, 9 ex
