Abstract
FIELD: radio engineering, applicable for determining the bearing of radio signal sources in the systems of evaluation and monitoring of parameters of radio radiations. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in measurement of amplitudes of signals from the adjacent receiving antennas with the subsequent computation of the bearing value according to the values of these amplitudes, simultaneously measured is the difference of the phases of the signals from the same receiving channels, and one or several values of the bearing is computed according to the measured difference of the phases, then these values of bearing are compared with the value of bearing computed according to the difference of amplitudes, according to the results of comparison, the value of bearing from those computed according to the differences of the phases is selected that is closest to the value of bearing computed by the amplitude method and it is considered to be the bearing of radiation. EFFECT: enhanced precision of bearing measurement at a use of antennas with wide beams, which provides for a high probability of detection of signals in the space. 4 dwg
