Abstract
Description
The invention relates to medicine, more specifically to ophthalmology, and can be used to determine indications for irrigation, stimulation therapy in the treatment of toxic damage to the optic nerve.
A known method for determining indications for irrigation, stimulation therapy in the treatment of toxic damage to the optic nerve, including determining the condition of the fundus (RU 2077291, 04/20/1997, description).
However, when using this method, it is not always possible to determine a positive outcome of treatment. The objective of the invention is the creation of a computer-based determination of indications for irrigation stimulation therapy in the treatment of toxic damage to the optic nerve, the results of which do not depend on the subjective influence of the patient or doctor, in order to increase the accuracy of determining the indications for treatment of this pathology.
The technical result according to the invention is achieved by the fact that in the method for determining indications for irrigation, stimulation therapy in the treatment of toxic damage to the optic nerve, including determining the condition of the fundus, computer histograms (diagrams) of the constituent colors of red, blue and green are determined from the color photograph of the fundus and, if the code value of the minimum component of the red color is in the range of 148-176, the code value of the minimum component of the green color is in the range of 16-36, the code value the maximum component of blue lies in the range 0-23 and the distribution of blue from 0 to 4% in the image of the optic disc, then consider irrigation, stimulation therapy shown.
A known method of computer spectrography (RU 2130612, 05.20.99g., Description), including the analysis of the fundus image obtained on the fundus camera.
Filming of the fundus using a Polaroid color film was carried out on a TOPSON fundus camera (Japan). The patient was examined sitting, chin and forehead resting on the headrest. The patient's gaze was directed to a special flashing point, the position of which was controlled by the operator to obtain fundus images on the monitor screen. Necessary conditions for shooting: pupil width of at least 5 mm, transparency of the eye. The results of the examination did not depend on the subjective influence of the patient or doctor (see description, p.1).
Then followed a scan of the fundus image for computer processing. Using a specially designed program, the image was analyzed in a color spectrographic system and statistical processing of data on 256,000 color shades of red, green and blue.
256. The color code of each pixel of the fundus image was determined on a computer monitor. The value of the code can be from 1 to 256000 (color resolution of the computer). The measured point was decomposed into color components: red, blue, green, each of which is from 1 to 256.
As a result of scanning, three histograms of each color component were determined.
50 patients with toxic optic nerve damage were examined.
In 30 patients, with a minimum code value of the red component in the range of 148-176, with a minimum code value of the green component in the range of 16-36, with a maximum code value of the blue component in the range of 0-23 and with the spread of blue from 0 to 4 % in the image of the optic nerve head revealed that a positive treatment outcome was obtained with irrigation, stimulation therapy.
Thus, the parameters of the histogram (chart) of the constituent colors make it possible to determine the indications for irrigation, stimulation therapy in the treatment of toxic damage to the optic nerve, which precede a change in function (minimum, maximum).
