Description

 The invention relates to the design of enemas that can be used at home, camping and other conditions.

 Enema as a process (from Greek - washing) means the introduction through the anus into the rectum or large intestine of a fluid, that is, water, a special composition or air. Distinguish between therapeutic, diagnostic and contrast enemas.

 Washing this kind can significantly reduce the risk of autointoxication of the human body with carcinogenic and toxic substances that are present in feces. Indeed, blood flowing from tissues that are adjacent to the lower half of the rectum, unlike blood flowing from the remaining parts of the digestive tract, does not pass through the liver. Therefore, regular cleansing enemas can serve as an effective means of preventing not only colorectal cancer, but also increasing the overall immune status of the body.

 Unfortunately, in all currently known enema constructions, tips for introducing fluids are used, which are introduced into a cavity of the rectum at a rather significant (sometimes up to 10 cm) depth.

 Such is the well-known enema available in the pharmacy network, which has a rigid tip connected by a rubber tube and a capacious (up to 3 l) vessel for the fluid.

 It is clear that the introduction of a hard tip with friction against living tissues and overcoming the resistance of the tonic strained sphincter of the anus is permissible only in rare cases, only for therapeutic purposes and, almost always, with outside help. If the patient suffers from hemorrhoids (especially with the release of inflamed hemorrhoidal nodes), then the use of enemas with hard tips is practically excluded.

 In such cases, you can use a rubber "bulb" as an enema, which serves as a source of fluid and is equipped with a highly elastic tip with a cone-shaped working part. The dimensions of the "pear" correspond to the average size of the palms of an adult, and the tip shank is inserted into its output channel with interference (see Big Medical Encyclopedia. - M .: Publishing House "Soviet Encyclopedia", t. 10, 1979, p. 451- 452).

 This enema is less traumatic in use. However, replenishment of the supply of washing water or liquid treatment media during their massive infusion is difficult, because the separation of the "pear" from the tip and their reconnection require considerable effort.

 Therefore, enemas are preferred having a tube-shaped tip that is provided at the non-working end with means for releasably connecting to a fluid source, for example, in the form of a bayonet coupling. This closest in design to the proposed enema is known from the French application FR 2663230 A1.

 It allows you to easily replenish the fluid supply with a single insertion of the tip into the anus.

 However, the possibility of trauma to hemorrhoidal nodes and psycho-injuries due to the inconvenience of independent (without assistance) application remains.

 Therefore, the invention is based on the task of improving the shape of the working parts and, especially, the tip, to create an enema that would virtually eliminate the possibility of injury to the soft tissues adjacent to the anus, and would provide the convenience of independent use.

 The problem is solved in that in an enema having a tip in the form of a tube, which is provided on the non-working end with a means of detachable connection to a source of fluid, according to the invention, the specified tip on the side of the working end is made with dimensions sufficient to hold it against the skin of the perineum around the anal holes, and with rounded edges.

 Such an enema can be used to introduce fluids into the lower part of the digestive tract with the sphincter opening by the pressure of the supplied jet, which virtually eliminates the injury of soft tissues near the anus and the need for outside help. Indeed, any relatively healthy person, starting from adolescence, can independently provide a reliable clip of the working end of the tip to the skin of his own crotch.

 An additional difference is that a screw thread is made on the inner wall of the tube. This allows you to twist the fluid flow before exiting the tip and, thereby, facilitates the flow of fluids through the anus.

 Further, the invention is illustrated by a detailed description of the design and operation of the enema with reference to the attached drawing (Fig.1-3), which shows a General view of the enema from the side (with partial longitudinal sections along the working tip and the connection node of the fluid source).

 The proposed enema is shown almost life-size. It has a tip 1, which is made on the working end with dimensions sufficient to press it against the skin of the perineum around the anus, and which has an outlet cavity 2 with a cross-sectional area larger than that of the outlet of the supply channel 3. Wall 4 of the supply channel 3, as a rule, has a screw thread near the output end. The tubular tip 1 is detachably connected to a fluid source. In particular, when using the supply tube 5, the first such means is the bayonet connection 6.

 For the convenience of the independent use of the enema, the tube 5 in the middle part is equipped with a handle 7, in the distal part of which the fitting 8 is rigidly fixed for attaching the proximal end 9 of the flexible supply hose. The distal end 10 of the same hose is equipped with second means for detachable connection to a fluid source in the form of a bayonet connection 11. On the working end side, the edges 12 of the tip 1 are rounded, which is typical for the entire annular wall 13 bounding the cavity 2.

 The described enema (usually in self-care) is used for flushing as follows.

 Having prepared the source of the required (flushing and / or therapeutic) fluid, connect the tip 1 to the tube 5 with a bayonet connection 6 and pull the proximal end 9 of the flexible supply hose onto the nozzle 8 in the distal part of the handle 7. Then, crouching over a regular toilet or bidet (and in field conditions - over an arbitrary depression in the soil), with one hand tightly press the rounded edges 12 of the working end of the tip 1 to the skin of the perineum around the anus, and with the other hand through the bayonet connection 11 connect the distal to Heff, 10 of said hose to a fluid source selected and include its pitch. It was experimentally established that for the passage of any fluid even through the spasmodic sphincter, an excess pressure of not more than 300 mm Hg is sufficient, and in the normal state, about 100 mm Hg.

 After introducing the required amount of fluid, the distal end of the hose 10 is disconnected from its source, the tip 1 is withdrawn from the anus, and (sometimes with some delay in time) defecation is performed. If necessary (for example, with a prolonged preceding constipation), the described procedure is repeated until the output of fecal particles with the fluid ceases. After such washing, a small portion of air can be introduced into the rectum, which is released when the body is upright. The used enema is disassembled, washed and dried, as usual.

 Long-term tests of the enema as a means of prophylactic cleaning of the anus from feces after natural defecation showed that in individuals who often resort to this procedure, the general condition improves significantly. This allows you to recommend the proposed enema as a means of personal daily hygiene. Retrofitting an enema with interchangeable tips of a traditional type allows you to use it for douching.
