Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of agriculture and can be used for the salinization of saline soils in areas with stable snow cover and pronounced freezing of the soil.
A known method of reclamation of saline soils, including sowing halophytes on the field of plants with their subsequent harvesting (RF Patent 2109425, A 01 B 79/00, 79/02). The disadvantage of this method is that when it is used, a small degree of desalination is achieved.
1). The closest in technical essence is the method of saline soil reclamation, including sowing halophytes on the field of plants with their subsequent harvesting (Application of the Russian Federation 97109011/13, class A 01 B 79/00, 79/02, BI 26-98, part 1 )
The disadvantage of this method is the low rate of desalination, since for the purpose of desalination only the ability of plants to accumulate soil salts is used. In this case, melt water is practically not used, which, due to the uniformity of freezing and thawing of soils, is not absorbed into it, but mostly rolls off the field.
The objective of the present invention is to increase the rate of desalinization of saline soils through the use of a number of natural and physical factors that contribute to the intensification of the process.
1: 1-10. The present problem is solved by the fact that in the method of reclamation of saline soils, including sowing halophytes on the field of plants with their subsequent harvesting, during harvesting some of the plants are left in the swaths on the field, laying them in rows, and the plant mass from adjacent swaths is taken out of the field, the width of the swaths with the removed plant matter and the width of the swaths with the remaining plant mass are in a ratio of 1: 1-10.
The method is as follows. Halophytes are sown on soils intended for reclamation. In autumn, at the time of harvesting or earlier, swaths are carried out on the field surface with the laying of the mowed plant material in rows, and the plant mass from adjacent swaths is taken out of the field.
Autumn rainfall and spring water wash away salts from the remaining rows, as a result of which soil sections are formed under them more saline than the bulk of the field, and as a result, they later freeze and thaw earlier. As a result, spring melt water is absorbed through these areas and enters the sub-permafrost layers of the soil, simultaneously washing previously thawed areas and reducing the salt concentration in the sub-permafrost soil layer of adjacent areas.
Example 1. Reclamation of saline soils was carried out on the field, which in the spring was sown with solonchak barley. In September, barley was harvested from the field, leaving swaths with straw collected in rows. The distance between the strips with swaths was 6 m, the width of swaths from which the plant mass was left was also 6 m. The concentration of salts on the field after a year was 15-25% less than with continuous cultivation of halophytes. A further decrease in the width of the swaths from which the plant mass was taken out of the field is impractical both for technological reasons and because of a sharp decrease in the efficiency of the desalination process.
Example 2. Reclamation of saline soils was carried out on the field, which was sown in the spring with annual grass tsveta. In September, grasses were harvested from the field surface, leaving swaths with grass collected in rows. The distance between the strips with swaths with rows was 60 m, and the swath width was 6 m. The concentration of salts on the field in a year was 12-21% less than with continuous cultivation of halophytes. A further increase in the width of the swaths from which the plant matter was taken out of the field is impractical, since melt water cannot penetrate due to lateral filtration to the entire width of these sections due to lateral filtration.
