The remaining smooth sides of the scraper (not rounded) exist for faster cleaning of even and relatively flat surfaces, such as the bottom or walls of dishes, and the rounded one (s) is effective (s) when cleaning radius surfaces, roundings, corners. It should also be noted that this scraper is effective when cleaning any corner of the dishes up to the reverse, since when the scraper is turned to either side while cleaning the surfaces, the cleaning radius changes up to the opposite corner forming a rounded depression or furrow.

The scraper is used as follows.

While washing dishes, the user holds the scraper plate in such a way that the rounded side of the plate is directed towards the cleaning site. Preferably, a scraper is used, which has a protrusion 3 of a semicircular shape in the area of curvature 2. It is convenient to press this protrusion 3 with a finger of the hand and at the same time the user knows for sure that with this section he will clean the dirt from the dishes (see Fig.9-Fig.12).

During cleaning, the sharp end faces 4 along the perimeter of the scraper plate 1 touch the areas of contamination on the surface of the dishes, while pressing on the plane of the plate itself creates pressure on the edge zone of curvature 2 of the scraper 1 in contact with the surface of the dishes.

As a result, a portion of the plate with one of the two sharp end faces 4 scrapes over the surface of the dish, which at the point of contact adheres tightly to the surface of the dish. Therefore, the claimed scraper effectively cleans any areas of contamination on the dishes: dried food residues and burns, does not slide over them, but cleans them off.

This can be seen in the examples, where in the course of experimental testing of a full-scale sample (see Fig.17) the stewpan was cleaned. Figure 4 and Figure 5 shows that the initially dirty saucepan (see Figure 3(A)) with a lid (see Figure 3(B)) was washed with a conventional agent (dishwashing sponge), but was not washed effectively.

There were areas of scale and dirt at the junction of various elements of the dishes (at the bolts of the handle and at the bottom - at the junction of the base and the wall), and on the lid there was dirt at the grip of the lid and along the rim.

With the help of the claimed scraper, these contaminants (see Fig.6-Fig.12) are easily peeled off. According to the results of cleaning, it can be seen that there are practically no remaining initial contaminants on the dishes (see Fig.13-Fig.15).

Tests of the scraper on cookware with a non-stick coating also showed that the coating is not damaged by the scraper, but at the same time it is effectively cleaned of burnt and dried food residues.

Similar positive results have been obtained with enamel coated cookware and aluminum pots and pans. The scraper did not spoil the enamel, did not scratch it. Also, the scraper did not scratch aluminum surfaces. At the same time, cleaning this cookware from burns and dried food residues was effective.

The scraper can be made both by compression molding and cutting, for example, from polycarbonate or organic glass.

In the manufacture of molding or stamping, flexible polymeric materials that hold the shape can be used: polypropylene (PP), high-pressure polyethylene (LDPE), low-pressure polyethylene (HDPE).

Polymers PP, PVD, HDPE are distinguished by the following features that have become competitive advantages: acceptable wear resistance and resistance to "compression ↔ stretching" associated with high crystallinity of the material, increased heat resistance, low coefficient of friction, high moisture resistance, the ability not to interact with an aggressive environment, dielectric properties.

In the manufacture of cutting from plexiglass, grades can be used: SE - extrusion; SB - block; SEP - transparent, made by extrusion; SBS - block fire-retardant; SBPT - block increased heat resistance. The last two types of plexiglass grades can be used for scrapers, which can be used to clean hot dishes without fear of melting the scraper. SEP - transparent (it can be used in the manufacture of a transparent scraper), other brands - cloudy.

The most preferred scraper materials are PET (polyethylene terephtholate) or polycarbonate or ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene). These plastics are relatively soft and yet durable.

There may be options for choosing foamed plastic scraper materials, since foaming can also achieve relative softness.
