Abstract
Description
The invention relates to compositions of bitumen-mineral mixtures mainly for paving devices.
A known mixture (ed. Certificate. USSR 317670, class C 08 L 95/00, 1979) used for paving, including (wt.%):
Bitumen - 78 - 81
Polyisobutylene - 2.5 - 3
Dibutyl phthalate - 4 - 4.5
Cement - 11.5 - 15.5
However, coatings made from such a composition have properties that are low in mechanical strength, water resistance, with high water saturation and swelling.
The closest in technical essence is a bituminous mixture (ed. Certificate. USSR 726142, class C 08 L 95/00, 1980), including, wt.%:
Natural tar sand - 40 - 70
Low molecular weight polyethylene - 5 - 20
Mineral Filler - Else.
A disadvantage of the known composition is its low mechanical strength.
The invention is aimed at increasing the mechanical strength while maintaining the water resistance of the composition.
The result is achieved in that the bitumen-mineral mixture, including natural bituminous sand, low molecular weight polyethylene and mineral filler, additionally contains sulfur waste - a waste of a gas desulfurization unit containing 99.9% sulfur, in the following ratio, wt.%:
Natural tar sand - 18 - 29
Low molecular weight polyethylene - 2.4 - 3
Waste gas desulfurization unit - 46 - 58
Mineral Filler - Else.
Natural tar sand - kir, is a rock formed by a mixture of hardened oil or asphalt with sand or clay material. The content of bitumen in kira ranges from 5 to 30% and higher, the mineral part of kirov is represented mainly by fine sands (such as sand dunes).
(ГОСТ 16337-77).For the manufacture of the material, the initial components were used: tar sands of the Utyamysh deposit (Tatarstan) and the Shugurov deposit (Tatarstan) with a tar content of 7-10 wt.% And 13-17 wt. % respectively. The bituminous part of the first breed is represented by components, wt.%:
Asphaltenes - 10 - 13
Resins - 9 - 12
Oils - 84 - 86
Paraffins from oil - 0.7 - 1
Sulfur - 3.2 - 4
The bituminous part of the second breed is represented by the following components, wt.%:
Asphaltenes - 20.8 - 21.6
Resins - 6 - 18.3
Oils - 60.2 - 71.3
Paraffins from oil - 0.09
Sulfur - 3 - 4
Low molecular weight polyethylene - a waste product of low pressure polyethylene production is a mixture of low molecular weight polyethylene with a molecular weight of 2-8 thousand (GOST 16337-77).
The waste gas desulfurization unit of the Minnebaevsky gas processing plant (Tatarstan) with a content of 99.9% sulfur (GOST 127-76) was used as sulfur waste.
23735-79). A sand-gravel mixture (GOST 23735-79) was used as a filler.
Образцы 1, 2 и 3 приготовлены с использованием битуминозной породы Утямышского месторождения (содержание битумной части 7-10 мас.%), образцы 4, 5 и 6 - с использованием битуминозной породы Шугуровского месторождения (содержание битумной части -13-17 мас.%).Samples were prepared as follows: the initial components taken in given ratios were mixed until a homogeneous mass was obtained. Then the mixture was heated to a temperature of 200-225 o C, kept at this temperature for 30-40 minutes and pressed the samples under a pressure of 40 MPa. Preparation and testing of samples was carried out in accordance with GOST 12801-84. The test results are shown in the table.
Since the presented mixture is created mainly from production waste (gas desulphurization unit waste and low molecular weight polyethylene) and such low-demand raw materials as tar sand, the resulting material is cheaper than ordinary asphalt.
